…I…somehow feel sorry for JGY??? I mean I’ve hatefully him the whole story cause he seemed so evil but it’s really the hand he’s been dealt in life. Like the real evil one seems to be JGS or WRH but then again they probably have some sad backstory as well??? Ian the villain in this story just bad luck and unintentional/uncontrollable actions???? Why do I still feel sad for JGY????
jgy is such a well written villain, if not the best, I’ve come across so far. he’s vulnerable, small and weak yet so powerful with a sad backstory that makes you sympathise with him as well as hate him for his actions. he is evil. I love his character 😭 thank you for translating such a brilliant book for me to meet him and for everyone!
This chapter was awesome and the attached music made it even more surreal. I couldn’t truly manage to hate JGY, he was a really effective villain. Either way, I think Nile HuaiSang is about to be exposed-I honestly don’t like him so I am already hating on him.
Wei Ying is so shameless and has a very positive temperament, he takes every opportunity to tease or show his love to Lan Zhan whatever the situation. 1- He blinked, almost flirting with him while leading a corpse into a coffin 2- By gently marking him with his own blood on his face 3- Sit in his arms and on his laps. I reread chapters 99 to 108 and my heart squeezed again. Oh god, I’m one of those people who think that nie huaisang is a cutie, and should be protected at all costs no matter how cowardly he is, but the fact that he is the only one of the leaders of nie sect who have not participated in any violent… well situations or have done anything violent, and to think that he is always looked down upon as a sect leader because of his cowardly attitude, I feel that there is more to him, despite not participating in violent acts, he keeps getting himself in situations like these, not the… Read more »

One thing i can say about jgy is that he have a sad beginning and a sad end curse. If only he didnt enter lanling sec he would have been a good person but hey playing as a villian with more depth in his character i could not wish for more. Now that is left is nhs to spill the beans as of what hes doin acting all innocent.

As for JGY… I wonder… did he have a real feeling for LXC?… He knew that Lan Wang Ji (the second Gusu Jade) had a feeling for a man… So could he had hoped that LXC as the first Gusu Jade has a feeling for a man too?… Could he be longing for LXC all this time?
I’ve always suspected NHS, I don’t know why but I have a bad feeling towards him. I mean, you can never trust any character here, they’re all two faced (except LWJ). How can NHS not, then? He is.. too weak. Too suspicious.
