So, it was the first kiss, I thought when wuxian kissed when wangji was drunk that would be the first one..but I was wrong this was the one and it was too sudden.and I’m too confused how he didn’t recognized him with his special scent of sandalwood which wuxian always mentions??

a lot of comments are asking why wei ying didn’t recognize lan zhan’s scent, but remember it was mentioned earlier that the flower at his chest gave a scent too. i don’t think it was just randomly put there, but instead to let us know that his sense was already filled with the flower, hence why he didn’t notice the fainter scent of sandalwood
