I have a theory, most of what was reported by the people has all been an exaggeration and false to some extent, like LZ and WY being enemies, WY being this evil cultivator who killed aimlessly, and many others, so I’m starting to question whether it’s true that Jiang Cheng really killed WY, I seriously doubt it, if anything I’m thinking his death was in a way (directly or indirectly) his own doing after losing shijie, it’s just a thought though.
