Just found your 2nd update, thank so much, especially K! What a wonderful surprise. This chapter brought tears. How very human, even for the undead! The Wen Sect survivors protected WWX & LWJ & everyone else in the cave. Wen Ming recognizes his family; Jingyi, Lan Sizhui go back to help. WWX cries because he couldn’t protect the Wens but they loved him anyway. How can we not forgive people – it frees ourselves from the burden of carrying all those hurtful feelings. Can’t believe I already reached the latest update. Thank you for your hard and passionate work. It is not mere translation but a work of literature that still keeps the harmony and the flow.
Even though I am dying to know what happens next, I’ll gladly wait for the next update. Because quality beats quantity, especially with such an intricate story as this.

Anyway… I can't really remember when was the last time when some storyline gave me so much conflict feelings. I'm sad and happy at the same time. The youngsters are so pure, both them and Wen Ning.
I haven’t slept 3 night in a row. But I finally caught up with everyone. Guys you don’t know how good you’v got it with one chapter per week. You can cry, sleep wake up ponder. While you wait for the next chapter. Even though you might get hurt again at least you get a chance to recover. Boy this book is so emotional I laughed in the beginning. I’m really happy I found this! I only found the manhua(?) yesterday and, after I saw a comment on one of the pages that I should find the novel, I haven’t stopped reading. I even went and found the series and watched that all the way through as well. This novel hurts my heart so much but at the same time it’s so enjoyable to read. CHRISTMAS CAME EARLY!!! I thought ExR only released new chapters on Sunday so I only come on here once a week but I felt like rereading the last chapter and BAM there’s another chapter, I’m so happy 😂 thnx for the chapter
WWX, these students of yours are willing to ignore you and head back in to fight with you! And the moment between LSZ and WN!!! Can I also say I adore JC trying to basically tell JL to ‘do as I say and not as I do?’ lol
These blood corpses had to be terrifying, but I totally believe that LSZ is realizing or remembering a bunch of his past! WN trying to collect their ashes is…so very touching. The fact that the juniors want to help him is as well.
Wei Ying is making it kinda hard to hate him eh
