So the real Weixuan is living on Mo Xuanyu’s golden core? But he was also able to withdraw the sword in the secret chamber, right?
I still can’t get excited whether he’ll change his mind after being face-slapped with the truth. My hate for Jiang Cheng has shot towards the moon I lost all hope for him treating Wei Ying with respect again!

These revealings in the last few chapters were shocking. The sword neglecting must have had a deeper meaning, it was being made quite obvious, now that the explanation is there it is quite evident yet still a shock. Wei WuXian did quite the job of hiding the fact from everybody. Usually when someone lies they repeat the lie in very similar wording, but Wei WuXian whenever asked seemed to have a different indifferent explanation, it was clear he had no interest in using the sword, but not the reason why. WWX’s before rebirth life is so tragic. He gave JC his golden core and had to keep it a secret his whole life. He doesn’t take his sword with him cus to him, it’s just a piece of metal stick since he can’t unsheath it. I think he gave his core to JC cus JC is like his blood bro and he believe he caused his parents’ death. With all the guilt, he decide to sacrifice himself and have his core to him. He got caught so easily and thrown into the Burial Mound cus he had no spiritual power.… Read more »
AW MAN, it finally came . . . the day when Jiang Cheng found out Wei WuXian’s sacrifice T-T I read it on the wikia and then I saw the episode when the Wens kidnapped WWX. The Core-Melting Hand had hit WWX, but he had a surprised face. WWX’s Golden Core wasn’t destroyed by the Core-Melting Hand. . . because WWX already had NO Golden Core.
