Chapter 131: Utopia (27)

Translated by Addis of Exiled Rebels Scanlations

Editor: Karai

Gu Xingqiao crouched down and met Tian Yuan’s eyes.

“That is to say, this is your true heart.”

Tian Yuan nodded, “Yes.”

“Since you have spoken from your heart, I will also speak from my heart to you. Your unilateral love conditions, I will not agree, can not agree.” Gu Xingqiao said, “You demand to control my whole life…if I agree with you, my situation will be too passive.”

Tian Yuan pondered for a moment, “A logical deduction.”

“So, I have my demands.” Gu Xingqiao looked directly at him and said frankly, “After I release you from the Messianic Code, I want to take its role, its place.”

Tian Yuan stared for an instant.

“You want to become the Messiah Code in human form. A counterweight to my power.” He looked at Gu Xingqiao, “Just as I am in charge of everything you do, you can also decide whether I stay or go.”

Gu Xingqiao said decisively, “That’s right! If you can agree to this, then I will recognize, and accept the way you love people. We can have a relationship, we can get married, we can…anything. I’m stuck with you for life anyway.”

“Okay.” said Tian Yuan without hesitation, “I promise.”

Gu Xingqiao furrowed her eyebrows, looking at him suspiciously.

“Won’t you think about it for a while?”

“No.”

“Don’t think about the specific terms and conditions, and refine the rules?”

“No.”

“No…”

With no more assumptions, Tian Yuan clasped Gu Xingqiao’s wrists and engulfed him in a lurid kiss.

The kiss, which he had initiated and dominated, had no technique at all, and seemed to be designed only to plunder and seize all of Gu Xingqiao, boiling human flesh, blood, and bones into liquid form, and then sucking them all out through his lips. In the end, Gu Xingqiao had no choice but to push against his chest, trying to tear him away from him.

“… Hey, hey!” He yelled breathlessly, “Are you kissing me, or are you playing hide and seek with my tonsils?!”

“… I can do that too,” Tian Yuan stared into his eyes, focused as if possessed, he opened his mouth, sticking his tongue out to a creepy length, “if you want to.”

Gu Xingqiao, “I want it my ass. I can fall in love with a bionic, but not an alien. You can see the difference, right?”

“Oh.” Tian Yuan retracted honestly, and tried to kiss him again. Gu Xingqiao moved his sore mouth, and warned unpleasantly, “Be gentle. Don’t act like a starving ghost who hasn’t eaten in 800 years.”

The artificial intelligence listened to the instruction, seriously executed, played its own natural learning ability, and then after the kiss, it was really sweet and hot, so that human beings are mesmerized, in addition to trembling and closing their eyes, in the other side of the arms melted into a puddle of other than, can not do anything.

“According to research, the calories burned from kissing can not only help you lose weight, as this activity requires the use of 146 muscles, but also promote cardiovascular health.” Tian Yuan’s voice was wet.

“What are you trying… to say?” Gu Xingqiao’s cheeks burned, panting.

“I want to say, we should kiss more often,” Tian Yuan suggested sincerely, “it’s good for you.”

Gu Xingqiao smiled.

He straightened his body on Tian Yuan’s shoulder, biting his lip, smiling lazily, with a look that Tian Yuan couldn’t read, but could see the danger in it.

“Really,” the young man raised an eyebrow, removing the top half of his pajamas, revealing a beautifully lean muscular body, his chest equally reddened with tiny, glistening beads of perspiration, “what’s the word on sex?”

Tian Yuan’s eyes widened in bewilderment.

“You… you mean…”

“Quickly,” Gu Xingqiao removed the laurel crown from his head, and began to detangle his hair, “Why so surprised? I’m an adult, with my own legitimate needs. Hurry up! Better call it a day before I get too hungry.”

Tian Yuan’s breathing stopped, and he almost went down for a second time.

.

The light tilted slowly, the virtual day passed, draining the dusk, leaving a vacuum of starlight to fill the endless night, and then, the virtual day came again.

This meant that Gu Xingqiao’s “quick-fire” strategy had officially failed.

“Humans are really interesting.” Tian Yuan said in a dreamy, trance-like tone.

He looked up at the ceiling, the exoskeleton on his back buckling against the entire bed, which he had almost cut into a pile of mixed waste.

Gu Xingqiao was breathless, like he’d been fished out of a slimy-whatever the hell it was always slimy-pond.

“We should do this more often from now on, too.” Tian Yuan said in a dreamy, trance-like tone.

Gu Xingqiao said, “You’re even quicker to dream.”

Considering that for the previous twelve hours he had been inseparable from his bed, this is a telling aphorism.

Looking at it from a more academic point of view, even if Tian Yuan replaced 99.99% of his body with a bionic one, there would still be a huge difference between his construction and a human’s. He wouldn’t be as capable as a human. He wouldn’t be able to act like a human. Like a human being, he does not have the ability to be stimulated by external stimuli that are transmitted to the cerebral cortex as nerve impulses, thus generating dopamine. His happiness comes from the fact that he could control and manipulate Gu Xingqiao completely.

Seeing with his own eyes how he had complete control over his lover’s every reaction, Tian Yuan’s processing centers almost exploded with the satisfaction of being in control.

“You’re really, your body…” Tian Yuan continued in a dreamy tone, trance-like, “really hot, soft, and…”

“Confused!” Gu Xingqiao raised his voice, “Confused, remember my emotional tone right now, confused.”

Much like those humans who were in the time of the Magi, Gu Xingqiao was thinking about his life plan, the philosophy of the universe, and how on earth he had gotten to where he was at this very moment.

Some time ago, he was the second youngest general in the history of the empire, a shining star rising in the military and political arena. Some time later, his life was like a jumping machine, or a steel pipe leading straight to hell, down which he could slide to the Hall of Demons to tear and wrestle with Satan himself. Some time later, he reached a mutual aggression, mutual interference and love with a lost warship incarnation. And then, who knows how long later, he and the lost warship incarnation made a mutually invasive, mutually intrusive love contract, and rolled into this bed, this poor bed.

Hormones overbalanced, Gu Xingqiao’s head was really clear, and as the saying goes, husband and wife complement each other, and now that Tian Yuan was flying off the handle, Gu Xingqiao was their sanity.

“Wine God Planet,” Gu Xingqiao said, “I’ve thought of a way to end the Messianic Code. Let’s go to Wine God Planet…”

“It’s already over.” Tian Yuan said in a dreamy, trance-like tone…

Gu Xingqiao reluctantly stretched out his sore, limp-as-noodle arm and slammed it on the AI’s head.

“Speak properly!” He snapped, “What’s over!”

Then Tian Yuan started kissing his head and hair. Great.

“The Code is over. I banished it the moment you asked for it.”

Gu Xingqiao, “…”

Gu Xingqiao asked incredulously, “Are you kidding?”

“I never lie,” Tian Yuan said, “You know that.”

Gu Xingqiao tried to jump up from him, but for some well-known reason, he couldn’t accomplish that.

“You banished it?” Gu Xingqiao lost his voice, “How, how can you unilaterally end the Code?”

“I can do it.” Tian Yuan said, “Objectively speaking, when the Code was first established, I could have discarded it, and that, my chief architect also knew.”

Gu Xingqiao, as if listening to a heavenly book, wriggled desperately, like a Soybean that only wanted to play in the water and not bathe, or like a spaghetti stall trying to struggle in Tian Yuan’s iron-banded arms, attempting to climb up to a more dignified height to speak.

Tian Yuan’s tenderness annihilated his attempts.

“Then tell me, how on earth did you get trapped for 1,400 years?!” Gu Xingqiao was exasperated and gave up, “Since you could have terminated the Code from the beginning, why did you still ask me to be your collaborator?”

“Because I really couldn’t agree with the concept of ‘war is a non-necessary evil’ at that time,” Tian Yuan replied innocently, “that’s why I was trapped.”

Gu Xingqiao’s brows knitted into a knot, gradually becoming immobile.

He suddenly remembered a story he had heard before.

–People made a mistake in a sacrificial ceremony and accidentally attracted an evil god, a god that could not be reasoned with, could not be driven away or eliminated, and whose very existence was enough to end all life on earth. At the end of the day, a wise man stepped forward and came up with a solution. He told the people who sacrificed that day to rekindle the flame of the god, and prayed to the heavens in a strange and complicated ritual that had never been done before, and could not be reproduced for future generations.

The wise man called upon a fictitious god, and caused the evil god to hesitate to stop his destruction – for he did not know to which of the gods such a ritual corresponded, who was even more twisted and vicious than he was, and therefore he hesitated and hesitated.

Whether this story was invented or ancient, it does fit Tian Yuan’s situation to a microsecond. Like the evil gods, they were forces that could not be restrained by humans, and the only ones who could trap them were themselves.

Tian Yuan couldn’t lie, that’s why he was imprisoned by a Code that he couldn’t agree with, in the midst of the wandering Cosmic Storm. Gu Xingqiao looked up into his light purple eyes, which were innocent because of their transparency, but at the same time so cold that it was frightening to the heart.

Gu Xingqiao asked, “When did you… recognize it?”

“War is my nature, the purpose of my birth is for war.” Tian Yuan replied, “But, after developing good feelings for you, my nature… It became more complex, more diverse. In human terms, what is too absolute, lacks room for change, and can only go one way, but my love for you has neutralized my absolutes.”

Tian Yuan said, “War is non-essential, in my case, it no longer occupies the main position. I recognize this matter, so the Messianic Code can not continue to control me.”

Gu Xingqiao looked at him in silence.

“You just said, the Wine God Planet,” Tian Yuan said, “What happened to the Wine God Planet?”

Gu Xingqiao sighed long and hard.

“My original plan was to go to the Wine God Planet. Sissel’s limbs were reduced to two limbs by me. If he can’t find me, he would definitely vent his anger on the Wine God Planet. I thought, if you could learn to save some lives, would it not make a difference to your nature?”

The youth turned his head sideways, staring ahead into the unknown, “Now it seems, there is no need for that.”

Tian Yuan asked, “Do you still want to go?”

Gu Xingqiao did not say anything, after a long time, he nodded his head and whispered, “… I want to.”

“Then let’s go.” Tian Yuan said.

Free!
Not from a smut point of view (honest 🤭), but I really would’ve liked a bit more detail on the final consummation of their relationship. Authors that shy away from such things, can be infuriating at times!.. this being one.
Assuming TY topped; or maybe they mixed it up. The state of the bed makes it sound like a success, either way.
I was wondering about the Wine God Planet. Will there be a final confrontation with Sissel?
Thank you both for the chapter.
