Sweet
Lin Xu inclined his head and waited for Heinrich’s next words. Heinrich’s palm began to sweat. Would he be able to command Lin Xu? Heinrich was skeptical. If Lin Xu did follow his orders, it would only prove that this was what Lin Xu wanted. Heinrich was not good at saying no, or at least, he was not good at saying no to Lin Xu. The foggy gray eyes looked like water vapor on a spring lake, and Heinrich looked at them and said, “Lin Xu, close your eyes.”
Long, thick lashes fluttered, and Lin Xu closed his eyes as promised. Heinrich’s breath moved closer to him, spilling over his brow bone and forehead, then his lips kissed Lin Xu’s eyelashes, hotter than his breath, and the dry lips first pressed gently against the eye sockets, lingering almost in fascination. Then, his lips trailed down Lin Xu’s cheeks, the tip of his nose, his midriff, and landed on Lin Xu’s slightly open lips. He took his upper lip, sliding his tongue over the beads of Lin Xu’s lips, moistening and drying them.
Heinrich lifted his hand to Lin Xu’s face, deepening the kiss completely. He had little skill, and when he no longer restrained himself, he went with his nature, and Lin Xu’s breathing was disturbed by Heinrich’s rough probing, and he let out a soft whimper.
Heinrich’s movements stalled for a moment. But not because of the unconscious sticky whine coming from Lin Xu’s nostrils, but because Lin Xu was gripping Heinrich’s shoulders and back, trying to bring him to the bed, and Heinrich was frozen in place. Noticing the change in Heinrich, Lin Xu opened his eyes and asked, “… Do you like to stand? Or…”
His lips, which were always pale at the moment, were reddened by the kiss, and the moisture glistened in the corners with a fine, tantalizing light, as Heinrich stared down at the place he had invaded. Until Lin Xu’s hand actually touched Heinrich, no longer through a layer of cold, stiff military uniform.
The sound of brass, leather, and fabric rubbing and clanging together made it impossible to ignore or escape what was happening right now. Lin Xu moved without great haste, and he enjoyed listening to the sounds.
He liked to see Heinrich in his combat suit and boots, walking with his armed belt and the various weapons he carried on his body inevitably clashing with each other and making noises, and the pure black light energy gun Heinrich carried with him did not need to be loaded, but needed to be opened with a click of the safety and a press of the accumulation button.
In the chaos of marching and fighting, the unique cumulative sound of the light energy gun accumulating energy was like a sharp knife breaking through the air. It overpowered the sound of all mechanical collisions, accompanied by the increasing blue light of the Cherunkov radiation coming out of the barrel of the gun, the strongest point almost glowing white, all space and time seemed to coalesce in this moment, dangerous and fascinating.
Lin Xu’s palm was as cold as the alloy stock, and Heinrich’s breath was held for a moment before he exhaled slowly. Lin Xu was not calm either, he was also a bit stunned.
He knew that when humans escaped Earth by spaceship, because of the long-term interference with genes because of cosmic rays, the physical qualities of the human race underwent adaptive strengthening, and extended the three genders of ABO.
The external physical appearance of interstellar humans did not change much compared with ancient Earth humans. Lin Xu had always thought that the enhancement of physical quality of interstellar humans was in the internal direction such as endurance, physical strength, and strength of the gene chain.
Unexpectedly, there was something on the external side that was strengthened beyond his old perception. But then, wouldn’t it be more painful to resist?
The scent of vetiver overflowed a little with the rise of body temperature, wrapping around the two. Lin Xu leaned his forehead on Heinrich’s shoulder to lend strength, but Heinrich failed to stand firm and took a few steps back, hitting his back hard against the closet.
Lin Xu’s hands never let go, his palms were not delicate, the hard calluses of his gun and knife had faded a bit in the years since he came to the interstellar era. When he regained his grip on the pencil and restoration tools, he accumulated fine, slightly hard calluses on his fingertips and palms. The tactile sensation was particularly noticeable in the dry environment.
The entire starship shuddered slightly at this point, and Lin Xu was startled, turning his head to look out the huge floor-to-ceiling porthole. Heinrich’s hand took the back of his head and pressed Lin Xu back onto his shoulder. His voice was indescribably low, “A small object crossed the force field and hit the Victoria, it doesn’t matter.”
Beyond the porthole, the Victoria’s force field barrier glowed with a subtle curving white light to the naked eye. In the Kuiper belt, small orbiting objects continued to hit the force field, some were shattered, others had their trajectories altered.
They created tiny dots of light on the force field barrier, as if galaxies were projected on it, and as time and space change and humans energize the force field, the light diminishes until it disappeared.
The universe was silent, the small celestial impact was so dazzling and active, yet all that could be heard in the starship room was Heinrich’s aggravated breathing, and the sound of skin rubbing together.
“Hmm.” Lin Xu replied as the vibration of his voice traveled from his forehead down Heinrich’s shoulder and into his flesh and blood bones, “I’m not worried. But . . Heinrich, just relax and don’t be nervous or it’ll be over soon.”
The muscles in Heinrich’s arms around Lin Xu tightened and seemed to tense up even more.
“But if you’re in a hurry to rest, it doesn’t matter if it’s faster.” Lin Xu said again.
—
Lin Xu didn’t keep time for such things, and he didn’t know how long it had been, even when he felt his arms getting a little sore and noticed some signs. Heinrich was leaning back against the wall, his silver hair already messily resting on his forehead. Lin Xu suddenly leaned down.
The sudden attack made Heinrich instantly tense up, and immediately reached out to pull Lin Xu up. Lin Xu’s knitted jacket cut an arc in the air with the sudden movement of getting up, cutting through, and the warp and weft of the soft stitches were like an electric shock at this time.
Heinrich couldn’t restrain himself and soiled Lin Xu’s black sweater as he got up. It was just an ordinary piece of clothing, unlike the waterproof nature of the space combat suit fabric, and the liquid quickly soaked in. Heinrich appeared reluctant to let Lin Xu see the last jump, pulling Lin Xu up and immediately wrapping his arms around him.
“Hiss…” Lin Xu sucked in a breath of cold air.
“… I’m sorry, actually you don’t have to…” Heinrich thought he had scared Lin Xu by picking him up.
Lin Xu’s chest hit Heinrich’s shoulder, and the sudden pressure forced the swollen glands to ooze. He had also worn a snug-fitting garment underneath his sweater to block and facilitate a ready change, but now it too had been penetrated.
Heinrich just thought Lin Xu now smelled like milk with syrup, sticky and hot. But as the pleasure-bringing dopamine peaked in that moment and then dropped rapidly, and the release of PRL hormones suppressed the physical arousal, Heinrich wanted to do nothing but quietly hug Lin Xu like hot milk. Lin Xu patted Heinrich’s back and calmly said, “Heinrich, let go of me first.”
“No.” Heinrich heard his voice cold and hard, pursed his lips and spoke again, “Let me hold you for a while.”
“You–“
“That’s a military order, Dr. Lin.”
Lin Xu planted himself into the hole he dug for himself, he only felt his clothes going wet, slightly warm against warmer skin became chilly. He couldn’t break away from Heinrich, there was fear of the body’s abnormalities being discovered, he could only bury his head directly and bite at Heinrich’s exposed neck.
“Mmm.” Heinrich frowned and inclined his head to kiss on Lin Xu’s hair swirl.
Another small orbiting object crossed the force field and hit the outer wall of the Victoria, and the starship shuddered slightly, but Heinrich’s arms didn’t relax half as much.
This position almost made Lin Xu lean completely on Heinrich, even needing to tiptoe a little and hold on to Heinrich’s shoulders to lend a hand, and having to lean in, and not wanting his wet clothes to stick to Heinrich.
It was not until Heinrich had completely calmed down that he let go of Lin Xu, and at first glance he saw the white marks that had condensed into a patch on Lin Xu’s black sweater, which were still stuck to Heinrich’s own military jacket. Lin Xu’s lips still had a little white mark that had dried out.
Lin Xu took a step back, breathing and speaking a little sharply, “You go clean up and get some rest. I should go now.”
Heinrich was turning around to look for a tissue to help Lin Xu clean up when he saw him running away, not bothering to clean up the obvious stains.
The tissues in his hands could only be used by Heinrich to wipe off the stains that had backstained himself, mostly on the front of his belly, but somehow the spot on his chest where the medallion was hanging was also soaked.
The paper towel wiped over, and between the back and forth a smell floated to Heinrich’s nostrils. The smell of milk?
Heinrich’s movements stopped momentarily, he reached out his fingers, dabbed the other side of the water stain with his fingertips, and tasted it. The sample available for observation was only a light layer, but Heinrich confirmed it anyway – it was milk.
—
Lin Xu hid back in his room and immediately stripped off his clothes and rushed into the bathroom, scaring Blackie and Snowy, who were playing hide and seek in the bathroom, into cowering in the corner, their fur wet from the droplets of water that spilled between Lin Xu’s waves.
After Lin Xu finished with his own hygiene situation, he grabbed the two rabbit-cats and washed them again, then re-blowed their fluffy fur to fluff it up.
The two rabbit-cats were tossed around and took over Lin Xu’s pillow with their soft feet, coiling up together and purring in their sleep. Lin Xu could only sit on the edge of the bed, watching the two rabbit-cats form a dumpling, but in his heart, he thought that Heinrich should have fallen asleep too.
He licked the corners of his lips and found that there was still a bit of dryness that had not been washed away, so he used his tongue to melt away the dryness and drank another glass of water to rinse his mouth.
Lin Xu touched it gently with his lips then, and Heinrich tensed up. Even though Heinrich pulled Lin Xu up with his quick eyes, some of it was still left on Lin Xu’s face.
The reason why Heinrich’s deep face was so helpless was not because he didn’t like it, but because the burgeoning desire poured out the bestial nature of the human heart that could never be cleared – to possess, to plunder, to devour – and he stiffened, worried about offending Lin Xu and disgusting him. It was clear that Lin Xu was the culprit, but he still couldn’t help but worry.
Lin Xu didn’t mind much, even though it was funny to tease the cold and majestic Marshal Chu like this, and it didn’t really smell uncomfortable… Wait a minute…
Lin Xu licked it again and took another sip to make sure the glass of pure water didn’t taste anything. Why did he taste sweetness? It tasted like white chocolate with vetiver.
Lin Xu, with a puzzled and inquisitive mind, clicked on the terminal and started querying. From interstellar human research and personal answers, under normal circumstances, no matter what, it would not taste like white chocolate.
Lin Xu licked it again, but the taste around his mouth was already too light to distinguish. Was it because Heinrich had dragon blood?
