This day was an absolute mess. My sister and I ended up in a Japanese hospital early in the morning. We both had a stomach virus as well as strep throat. The hospital near us did not have anyone who could speak English so I had to struggle with my Japanese to try and get my sister and I some help. We got some antibiotics and tried to go out to do some stuff. However, I ended up getting sicker and threw up on the train. đ
We made it back to our hotel and ended up sleeping the rest of the day.
Oh no, that’s awful.
I really hope you both feel better soon. Lots of rest and fluids, as I’m sure you know.
Don’t be tempted to push yourselves, just because you’re on holiday! (she says from unpleasant experience).
Hopefully there are some sights or things of interest close to you that need minimum effort to see, until you’re both recovered enough to walk more.

Oh dear, I just read it. Hope you are both okay now. Itâs been 2 days and I checked no update since. Please donât force yourself. I know it sucks when you fly 27 hours and then got sick just on the 2nd day. Please get treatment in hospital if youâre not feeling better. Tokyo has international hospital, please get the hotel staff to help you if necessary. My friendâs colleague just got back from Japan last saturday, on monday noon collapsed in office, afternoon sheâs gone. So please be careful.
