A Tranquil Farewell to Tokyo
With our departure looming on the horizon, we seized the opportunity to savor our last moments in Tokyo by immersing ourselves one more anime store. Rising early to catch the first light of dawn, we embarked on a peaceful stroll to a Book-off Bazaar before bidding farewell to Japan.
With memories of the garden etched in our hearts, we reluctantly bid adieu to Tokyo and made our way to Haneda Airport for our journey home. As we settled into our seats aboard the plane, we couldn’t help but reflect on the whirlwind of experiences and adventures we had enjoyed during our time in Japan.
The 8-hour flight at 4:55PM offered a rare opportunity for reflection and introspection, allowing us to savor the memories of our travels while eagerly anticipating the comforts of home. As the plane soared through the skies, we found solace in the thought of reuniting with loved ones and returning to familiar surroundings.
As the sun began to set on our journey, we found ourselves transported back in time as we crossed the international dateline, arriving in Seattle at 10 AM. Home sweet home awaited us, as I finally reunited with Sumi, showering her with love and affection, I knew that no matter where my travels may take me, there truly is no place like home.
Home is, indeed, where the heart is.
