Chapter 30: Bully

Translated by Addis of Exiled Rebels Scanlations

Editor: Karai

The black sedan didn’t head towards the school after class. Luo Songran looked at the familiar road, which led to Duan Yizhou’s villa. He furrowed his brows. “Aren’t you supposed to take me back to school?”

Duan Yizhou drove the car into the villa area, heading towards his own house. “I actually want to know if you think I’m stupid in your eyes. I’ve always been accommodating to you. Even if you deceive my feelings, you think I won’t get angry.”

Although his tone was casual, it created an oppressive atmosphere in the car. After all, he was an alpha. In the ABO world, alphas had always been in a dominant position genetically, especially a mature and powerful alpha like him.

Luo Songran watched as Duan Yizhou prepared to drive the car into the garage, swallowing nervously. “I didn’t mean it that way. I just thought we could have a good talk.”

He felt a bit nervous. What was going on?

Duan Yizhou lifted his eyelids slightly, glancing at the handsome young man in the passenger seat through the rearview mirror. He opened the garage door and chuckled softly, “Talk? I’ve always been talking to you. It’s you who’s been throwing tantrums at me.”

Luo Songran silently grabbed the seatbelt. Normally, he wouldn’t feel this way, but suddenly, Duan Yizhou’s tone and actions made him feel a bit scared, especially since he was being taken home now. What was going on? He held his breath, feeling cold sweat forming on his back. When he felt tense, his stomach started to ache. “Duan Yizhou, don’t scare me.”

“Scare you? What are you afraid of? I’ve been so good to you.” Duan Yizhou opened the car door and, after parking the car, directly closed the garage door

Luo Songran exclaimed, “!” He suddenly turned his head, watching as the garage door slowly descended. “Wait! You… I have to go back to school.”

“You don’t have classes tomorrow morning,” Duan Yizhou recalled.

Luo Songran understood what that meant. He immediately hugged himself and looked warily at Duan Yizhou. “What do you want to do?”

“Recite to me what you’ve done to me, and then we can talk.” Duan Yizhou unbuckled his seatbelt and leaned towards Luo Songran, his hand resting on the side of his body, getting closer.

Luo Songran was frightened and pressed himself against the door. He grabbed the seatbelt and pushed against Duan Yizhou’s strong chest with his hand, his eyes glistening with tears. “Don’t… don’t do anything inappropriate. I have a little baby.”

His voice trembled with fear.

Duan Yizhou placed one hand on the center console and the other on the side of the seat, leaning in close to Luo Songran. “I know. The little baby is mine.”

Luo Songran glanced at Duan Yizhou’s arm supporting himself and perhaps because of the defined muscles visible beneath his shirt, he averted his gaze fearfully, lowering his head and pressing against the door, seeking safety in the small space. Even though he knew it was small, he still wanted to make himself feel safer. He even put his legs on the seat, hugged his own legs, and leaned his forehead against his knees, saying in a muffled voice, “Don’t come any closer.”

He admitted he was scared.

Duan Yizhou was serious, not joking with him. And he knew that Duan Yizhou was different from the other alphas who had asked him for favors before. Duan Yizhou wasn’t after his money or power; he wanted him. If Duan Yizhou got really angry, could he still escape now?

No, probably not.

Seeing Luo Songran curling up and looking so small and helpless, Duan Yizhou felt a pang of heartache. However, he couldn’t afford to be soft. If no one taught this kid not to play with fire, he would do it himself.

“Alright, let’s talk.”

Upon hearing Duan Yizhou’s words, Luo Songran raised his head, only to see Duan Yizhou getting out of the car and walking towards the passenger side, opening his door, and bending down to lift him out.

“Hey hey hey—!” Luo Songran was lifted up by Duan Yizhou effortlessly, patting his back with his hand, looking panicked, “What are you doing!!!”

Duan Yizhou didn’t explain. He closed the car door with his arm and headed straight to the elevator next to the garage, pressing the button. The elevator door slowly opened, and despite Luo Songran’s kicking and scratching, Duan Yizhou held him firmly, effortlessly carrying him into the elevator and going up to the top floor.

“Duan Yizhou!! You’re bullying me!! You wanted this child, and now that I’m pregnant, you want to bully me. You’ll be struck by lightning!! Sob sob, can’t we just talk? I promise I won’t throw tantrums anymore, sob sob… If you… if you do something to me, I’ll be in pain, sob sob…Sob sob sob, I’m sorry, can’t we just get married tomorrow? Sob sob sob…”

Someone’s cries echoed through the villa, thankfully, the villa had good soundproofing, or else it would disturb the neighbors.

Duan Yizhou carried Luo Songran back to the bedroom. When he turned on the lights, he held the little guy in his arms. After turning on all the lights in the master bedroom, he directly put him on the bed. There was no way he would let him escape. Just as he put Luo Songran on the bed and had just taken off his shoes, he saw this guy looking terrified, crawling to the head of the bed, grabbing a pillow and hugging it in front of him, tearfully glaring at him.

“… Duan Yizhou, if you… really dare to touch me, you’re a despicable scum!”

Duan Yizhou’s expression remained calm as he straightened up. He took off his glasses, threw them onto the sofa, loosened his tie, and unbuttoned his shirt, his movements casual. Before long, his muscular abdomen, filled with a hormone-laden aura, was exposed.

Luo Songran’s gaze followed the path of the unbuttoned shirt downwards, swallowing nervously. When he felt like he was about to touch the metal button, sensing that Duan Yizhou was serious, his sense of crisis became even stronger. He felt that the bed was not a safe place. He threw away the pillow and tried to roll off the bed.

But before he could climb down from the bed, a strong hand grabbed his ankle.

He cried out in shock as he was pulled back to the edge of the bed, feeling warmth against his back. Strong arms were placed on either side of his body. He glanced at the hand by his side, noticing the veins bulging, like a silent warning. It was like being trapped in a net, utterly unable to escape.

In that moment, Luo Songran felt like a poor bug being choked by fate, unable to suppress his panic. Along with the anxiety and discomfort of the past few days, he buried his face in his arms and cried out.

“Sob…” His sobbing, filled with grievance, sounded like someone truly wronged. He wasn’t good at dealing with this kind of thing at all.

Seeing the little guy under him crying, starting to play the victim again, Duan Yizhou turned him over. In front of Duan Yizhou, Luo Songran was like a fish on a chopping board, easily turned over, unable to resist. He simply hugged himself and curled up, appearing weak, pitiful, and helpless in the strong arms, crying miserably, “… You despicable scum, I already have a little baby, and you won’t let me go. Have you no sha-“

“I’m going to take a shower.”

Luo Songran’s crying suddenly stopped. He was speechless. Huh?

Duan Yizhou chuckled as he got up from Luo Songran and walked towards the bathroom, saying, “I’ll take a shower first. You think about whether you want to talk to me calmly or not. If you want to run, you can, and tomorrow I’ll talk to Mr. Luo about you.”

With that, he walked into the bathroom.

Luo Songran’s expression was blank for a moment. Then, when he realized he had been teased by Duan Yizhou, he glared angrily at Duan Yizhou’s back, his eyes reddening. He pounded the pillow angrily, saying, “Duan Yizhou, do you know how childish you are! Despite being twelve years older than me, you’re acting like a child! Using this trick to scare me!”

Seeing the little rascal throwing a tantrum on the bed, Duan Yizhou glanced at him before the bathroom door and said, “If you throw another tantrum, I’ll be serious.”

Luo Songran immediately stopped hitting the pillow and instead started patting it gently, no longer looking as arrogant as before. He knelt on the bed, smiling at Duan Yizhou with a very obedient expression, saying, “I’m sorry, I was wrong.”

He apologized so quickly after crying so loudly just now. Typical of a petty official who starts a fire but cries foul when caught. Duan Yizhou raised an eyebrow ever so slightly before turning and walking into the bathroom.

Luo Songran, knowing he was in the wrong, especially feeling guilty about his pheromone coding being registered, had come to talk to Duan Yizhou calmly. But then he started acting up again.

He lay on his side, hugging Duan Yizhou’s pillow, burying his face in it and rubbing against its softness, watching the bathroom door and listening to the sound of running water, his mind replaying the moments they had spent together recently. Every little moment had taken place in this villa.

He knew this man’s temper. He was almost always obedient to him, but the more gentle someone was, the scarier it was when they lost their temper. So now that he had calmed down, he had to tell himself to control his temper, not to throw tantrums anymore, to be obedient, calm, and to speak properly, no crying, no tantrums allowed.

Could he really remain calm and composed?

Yes, he could.

Ten minutes later, Duan Yizhou finished showering and walked out of the bathroom, his wet hair tousled and falling naturally, revealing a smooth forehead. Without his glasses, he looked less gentle and more cold. His bathrobe was slightly open, and water droplets slid down his muscular chest in layers.

Luo Songran was feeling a bit sleepy, but when he saw this scene, he instantly became alert, sitting up and his eyes lighting up.

“It’s your turn to shower, you smell like other alphas,” Duan Yizhou said as he stepped out of the bathroom door, feeling the intense gaze of the little rascal. He knew this guy was lusting after his body, but now things couldn’t go back to the way they were before. He couldn’t let Luo Songran touch him casually anymore.

Despite this, he still chose the right approach, tailored to the person.

Luo Songran thought of what He Yu had done to him when he heard Duan Yizhou’s words, and his expression showed a hint of disdain. He sniffed himself, “I don’t smell it, but I felt it just now.”

As he said this, he got out of bed and walked towards the bathroom.

Seeing this guy heading towards the bathroom without taking anything, Duan Yizhou felt like he had spoiled him. He walked to the closet to get dressed, “Felt what?”

“It’s uncomfortable when an alpha gets close,” Luo Songran confessed, leaning against the door frame. He felt a bit embarrassed admitting it, glancing at Duan Yizhou, “I didn’t smell anything, but felt it.”

Duan Yizhou paused in his steps, his eyes darkening. He turned to meet Luo Songran’s gaze, “What did he do?”

Type A betas couldn’t sense pheromone interference; that was their weakness. Perhaps because Luo Songran was carrying his child, his pheromones were left on Luo Songran’s body, making him feel uncomfortable. It was a kind of protection.

“I scolded him,” Luo Songran admitted frankly, holding onto the door frame. He felt a bit embarrassed to say it, glancing at Duan Yizhou, “I told him I have an alpha, and he’s not someone to mess with.”

Just with that sentence, Duan Yizhou felt like he would surrender unconditionally in their next talk. Especially with the way this little rascal was looking at him now, a bit cautious, a bit coquettish. Sometimes he wondered how he could like someone so much.

Thinking about it now, maybe no one could resist a lively and cute living being who could argue and be adorable, full of vitality like a flower growing in a quiet corner, inherently incredible. Duan Yizhou stared at the little rascal still watching him at the bathroom door, as if waiting for his response, wanting to see his reaction. So he said, “Don’t you not want me anymore? Then why am I still your alpha? Luo Songran, did you accidentally fall for me while playing around?”

Luo Songran’s expression instantly froze. He met Duan Yizhou’s gaze, deep and restrained, so controlled and calm it was like a mirror, reflecting his emotions so clearly, scrutinizing his innermost thoughts without hindrance.

I like the more assertive DY, and LS does need to be taught that messing with another person’s feelings, especially an Alpha, could have serious consequences (never mind being wrong).
LS is incredibly hard work, but I feel DY handles him pretty well…. even though he’s joking, he might even be right!
Thank you both for the chapter.
