Chapter 44: Home

Translated by Addis of Exiled Rebels Scanlations

Yu Hanzhou’s arms tightened slightly, and the dragon in his arms grunted since he felt a little uncomfortable as he rubbed into his arms.

The arms holding the little dragon loosened a bit, and Ming Huan was covered with a thick military uniform so only a small head was exposed. It was easy to be held in his arms in order to be a little warmer, and his stretched limbs could not move so he shrank his neck into the military uniform to shield the wind.

After drilling for a while, Yu Hanzhou took two steps to the edge of the lake and looked down to see only a pair of tiny horns on his forehead. The planet temperature was not that high, and the rotation was very slow, so the nights were extremely long. If he did not find him today, Ming Huan would be blown by the cold wind here, in a place without even a cover to sleep for three days and three nights?

‘Wait a minute.’

The soft hair on top of his head was burnt a little. The starlight reflected on the lake was slightly bright and reflected on the little dragon’s face. The uniform coat pulled down a little, as if a little to lift up the dirty eggshell. Under the bright starlight reflection, he could clearly see Ming Huan’s sleeping frown and tightly closed eyes.

Even the tips of the eyebrows and eyelashes were burned somewhat.

‘What happened with the explosion on the outskirts of Capital Star?’

He pulled his uniform down a little. THe little dragon’s face was grazed with a long, thin burn mark, and blood was still seeping from the end of his eye. It was a wound from a laser cannon. It almost hurt his eye.

After sniffing the little dragon up and down, he smelled the unpleasant burning gas. Yu Hanzhou’s face tensed again, and he directly pulled the uniform to his neck and below to see if he had other wounds.

The little dragon was surprised by his action and grunted again before he slowly lifted the eyelashes that were burned and opened his eyes.

“?!” Ming Huan almost fell directly from his arms.

After stirring his legs twice and being held tighter, he saw Yu Hanzhou’s hand tugging at the buttons of his uniform, and his voice rose a little, “Yu Hanzhou! Are you sick?!”

His voice also changed a little.

It was a very clear voice that was very nice to hear.

“Are there any other injuries on you?”

“No, no!” Ming Huan jumped straight down, but he suddenly didn’t stand still as he stepped into the lake with a splash. His wrist was then pulled.

The bottom of his feet were cut by a few sharp stones from a few steps backwards. He felt the hand that grabbed him tighten, and he was pulled forward into a familiar and warm embrace. The voice from above his head seemed to be raspy with a bit of anger, “Still making trouble. I told you to wait for me at home.”

Yu Hanzhou knew that this young omega was a bit squirmy as Ming Huan from the beginning of the growth period was very uncomfortable with people seeing and touching his body.

After noticing that he did not look like he had any major injuries, he continued to take the long military jacket and put it on him. The knee-long jacket, when worn on Ming Huan, went to his calves.

He was a lot taller.

Ming Huan hit the tip of his nose sore, “You and I are not no longer related.”

“You dissolved the relationship, I know.”

“I think it’s good, you are an admiral, you’re busy every day with your own things. Don’t worry about me, you must be relieved. In the future, you do not have to carry me, you….” Although very reluctant to admit it, Ming Huan had to straighten out the fact that he was indeed dropped by Yu Hanzhou. The little dragon boldly didn’t face away. “I helped you to repair the mecha once, out of 100 million, I only have to pay you back 95 million, I have calculated this clearly. Although you still lost a lot, I at least got you a mineral star. We are clearer from now on.”

Ming Huan lowered his head. His bare feet were on the sand, and his toes slightly curled up as he picked at the weeds on the ground.

Yu Hanzhou: “Clear?”

Ming Huan’s heart surfaced with a little aggravation, “Long ago, we agreed. If you want to feed me, you can feed me, if you don’t want to feed me, it’s okay
. Just tell me. It’s not like I’m going to pester you.”

Yu Hanzhou did not say anything, Ming Huan uncomfortably raised his hand and scratched the end of his eyebrows. The sullenness of his heart that was stirred up by the Empire’s attempted capture of him, and this was increasingly relieved. While he was half asleep, he sensed a familiar mecha trying to locate him, and he blocked it twice. he agreed the third time.

He knew that the mecha had been recorded by the Military Department, and he also knew that it was Yu Hanzhou who was looking for him.

Perhaps three years of adoption required a more solemn farewell.

Yu Hanzhou must have felt a loss.

“I know you spent a lot of money for me, but those, originally, I did not necessarily ask you to buy. You, you have to buy for me since
.” The little dragon became more and more anxious, as if a little unable to grasp the point. He finally jerked his beautiful eyes to look into Yu Hanzhou’s eyes. “I was well raised, it was you who had to, had to spend so much money on me. It’s not my fault.”

Yu Hanzhou didn’t say a word, and Ming Huan felt somewhat uncomfortable as he raised his hand to scratch the end of his eyebrow, “Do you understand? In addition to the 100 million, I will not return to you the rest.”

The real reason was that he couldn’t afford to pay back anything more.

He really had no money.

He still had to build a house here.

He was also very hungry.

The nutrients he brought were probably only enough for him to eat for seven or eight days.

“I don’t want you to pay me back.” Yu Hanzhou said, “Let’s go home first and talk calmly.”

“That’s your home, not mine.”

“I said, wait till you differentiate. I have something to say to you. Your mental energy is not very stable right now, I have to take you home for an individual exam first….”

“Didn’t the custody expire? Why are you still ordering me around?”

“I’m not ordering you, I’m suggesting to you.”

“Can I refuse if it’s a suggestion?”

“Then what is the reason for your refusal?”

Ming Huan felt he and Yu Hanzhou had the same idea. He usually liked this condescending arrangement from him. he didn’t like it this time.

“There is still a reason to reject your request.”

“You can’t say no.”

Ming Huan took off his jacket and handed it back to Yu Hanzhou.

The cold wind blew his burnt hair and eyebrows, reflecting the scar under his eyes clearly.

“I knew this day would come. I also have since saved a good amount of money, and I’m not saying that I must use it. If you don’t need me and just want to keep me because the alpha has to take care of the omega, that’s not necessary. Since I’m already an adult
.”

Yu Hanzhou seemed to know what he wanted to say and said in a cold voice, “It’s only been three years since you broke your shell.”

“…” Yu Hanzhou could always say a few words to make people angry. Ming Huan’s mature and stable appearance gradually had a little crack, “I said, I think I can since-“

“I don’t think you can.”

‘Oooh. I want to say so many things.’ Ming Huan silently cursed an expletive in his heart.

“That notice letter, it was sent by the Federation court. I was not aware of it. And did not cut you off with that short notice letter. Put your clothes on first.” Yu Hanzhou put his uniform jacket over his shoulders, “The wind is cold here. Why do you want to buy a planet like this? Deserted, dry and cold, too much temperature difference between day and night, and no growth of what you like to eat.”

“I can grow my own! I brought a lot of seeds! Like I said, I have a plan….” Ming Huan said while taking out a small pile of seeds and preserved seedlings from the storage.

Yu Hanzhou, “…. When did you buy these things?”

“A long time ago. About a year and a half ago.” Ming Huan rambled, “It’s a little cold here, but I’ve planned it all out. There are plenty of vegetables and flowers that can be grown, and the thick-skinned goats and hardy cattle can live here, and most importantly, it’s close to the prison….”

Yu Hanzhou added to the rest of his sentence, “It’s far enough from the monitoring station. And at the border of the Empire and Federation. You think if you’re here, no one will be able to find you.” Yu Hanzhou’s face looked a bit odd, seemingly brewing for a long time, and finally only commented, “Naive.”

Ming Huan knew that Yu Hanzhou meant that his purchase route was not a heavenly seam, and even the method of arriving here was traceable. As long as he wanted to, it would take less than three days to find him.

Even so, Yu Hanzhou only used an hour.

He felt a little stifled in the heart.

In order to fight back a little, he glared and said, “If you did not use Xie Shuci’s mecha to find me, you would not be able to find me.”

Yu Hanzhou’s face suddenly became mean. “You think it was Xie Shuci who didn’t interfere with the location?”

Ming Huan shrugged, unconcerned, “The mecha went into the Military Department’s inventory, so of course only you can pull it out. Xie Shuci is only an omega, so how could the Military Department let an ungraduated military academy student fly a leap mecha? The signal source came in. I knew it was you who was looking for me.”

Yu Hanzhou’s face relaxed a little more. He unconsciously spoke in a much lighter tone. “You just differentiated, your mental energy loss is too much, that’s why you were so sleepy just now. If someone keeps positioning you, you have to keep using mental energy to interfere with the positioning, then how long can you sleep, it will not be enough sleep.”

Yu Hanzhou reached out and tugged his arm. He directly activated the Imperial blast type fighter, “First go home.” He pulled him in the direction of the fiery red blaster.

Ming Huan still stood still. His bare feet stepped on the edge of the lake, like a nail nailed to the ground.

“Are you going to fly this one with me?” Ming Huan pointed to Xie Shuci’s mecha not far away, “What about that one?”

“Come get it next time.”

“No.” Ming Huan obviously thought this mecha was precious so he let go of Yu Hanzhou’s hand and headed for the mecha, “You fly this one, I’ll fly that one. If the mecha is left here, the people from the Empire will soon find it and rob it.” Ming Huan was still counting. “Shuci had a hard time designing it. It’s his whole two years of hard work. No amount of money can buy it back. It can’t be cheap for the Empire’s side.”

Yu Hanzhou stood still and seemed to deliberate for a moment before finally nodding, “Okay.”

***

Splash.

The sound of rinsing came from the bathroom, and Yu Hanzhou leaned back against the wall as he waited outside behind a heavy glass.

This time he was really dirty all over, so Ming Huan washed his entire body three times before finally washing those bursts of scorched ash, sand, and dirt until he was all clean.

After seeing the doctor, the doctor said that he did not have any problems. He only had a little unstable mental energy, plus some trauma. He suggested that he carefully clean up the wound, and give sedatives and the drug after he had some sleep. After this, he could almost be back to normal except for that wound on the face that would stay a little longer.

Other than that, there were no problems.

The doctor prescribed a little tranquilizer after being sent out by Yu Hanzhou.

On the side, Ming Huan filled a pool with hot water and played with the bubbles.

Yu Hanzhou came back to hear no movement in the bath, and he knew that he began to soak, “Good.”

Ming Huan somewhat reluctantly from the nasal cavity gave a “hmm” as a response.

The glass door was pulled open.

The puff of hot air mixed with the sweet fragrance of an omega bathing agent came when Yu Hanzhou entered the bathroom, and he could see a pile of white bubbles on the knees of the seriously crouched little dragon.

The horns were topped with a neatly folded square towel.

“Hand.”

The little dragon put out his hand. Yu Hanzhou looked around, and there were only a few abrasions. All of them were accidentally scraped after the uniform was burned, and was medicated for him.

“The other one.”

The little dragon reached out the other hand.

“Foot.”

Splat.

From the pile of bubbles, the slender right leg slowly stretched out and rested on the edge of the bathtub. Yu Hanzhou saw his heel rubbed to the point of breaking the skin, “The other one.”

Ming Huan felt that he was now like a piece of pork being slaughtered on a factory assembly line, hanging on a hook and being pushed out.

He couldn’t help but argue, “It does not hurt. It’s just that my clothes are short, my shoes are hard, and I’ve worn them little. They will not hurt your feet …”

“The, other, one.” The little dragon cursed with his eyes. He could only put out his left foot as well. To compliment little dragon’s good behavior, a small dish of freshly cut honeydew melon pulp was placed in Ming Huan’s hand.

The sound of crisp chewing slowly sounded.

‘Oooh, it’s delicious. It’s really different from nutritional supplements.’ Ming Huan began to chew the melon, and there was not much resistance to what Yu Hanzhou did. ‘Let him command to see his back, let him check his back and chest again that don’t have any trauma, and let him carry a small medical kit to medicate the burns on his cheek.’

“Which weapon was it?” Yu Hanzhou’s eyes were a little cold, and the medicine was applied very gently.

“zl257. A stock of very rare hunting electromagnetic cannon guns.”

Yu Hanzhou checked the burnt strands of hair on his head to make sure it didn’t burn his scalp.

Once he lowered his head, he was facing Ming Huan’s even and delicate neck. His eyes were deep for a moment, but he didn’t say anything.

What Ming Huan needed now was to recuperate properly.

Yu Hanzhou never said anything like this to him.

Ming Huan even froze.

“The fish has been fileted downstairs and some beef has been fried. Already cleaned? I’ll carry you down to eat.” Ming Huan wanted to say he could go down himself, but when he came back to his senses, Yu Hanzhou had already taken him out of the wet bathtub. He put a snowy white bath towel over him, and carried him to the drying room.

“Today’s bath has anti-inflammatory and analgesic medication in it. You may be a little weak.”

That said, it did seem like those tiny cuts on the top that had been rubbed out were less painful.

It seemed like he could have a very comfortable sleep tonight.

Yu Hanzhou seemed to know what he was thinking, and after guarding Ming Huan as he ate two pounds of beef and one pound of fish, he fed him a full cup of steaming cow’s milk.

He rubbed his round tummy, and he was carried back to the bedroom that had been rearranged by the AI housekeeper.

“…. I still haven’t gotten around to buying proper pajamas.”

“Are you wearing my pajamas today, or
?”

Ming Huan inexplicably burned with a little red at the base of his ears.

“Wear, wear yours.”

Yu Hanzhou found a spare set of pajamas and underwear.

When Ming Huan changed, Yu Hanzhou, like before, first sat in his room while dealing with official business and guarded him till he slept before leaving.

“Where have you been these days?” Ming Huan did not hold back, “If it is not too much trouble for me, then when I finally differentiated that time, why were you not here?”

“This thing, we will talk about tomorrow.”

“Are you sleepy? If you are, I can give you some of my mental energy to help you. This mental energy will help you recover fast. You only need to sleep for one night, and you can almost recover.”

Yu Hanzhou lifted his slender fingers on the light screen and dismissed the concluded meeting. Through the translucent crystal font, he saw that Ming Huan had closed his eyes and fell into a deep sleep.

‘Really sleepy.’ He was too tired.

He got up, and just like every time, he put his fingertips against Ming Huan’s brow, “Ming Huan, you mental energy is still a little unstable, if I want to press you down, you can not resist.”

The little dragon was half asleep, and let out “um” from the nasal cavity.

The feeling was amazing.

It was like something cold and hot stabbed into his skull, constantly swimming in the edge of danger, but as soon as he put down his resistance and obedience, that strong and domineering pressure seemed to turn into a gentle wind and rain.

The soil, which was dry and almost cracked, was constantly moistened.

In fact, when he was dragged back by Yu Hanzhou, he thought that he would be scolded. The first thing he thought was that Yu Hanzhou would take care of him like before, making him good food and putting him to sleep.

Everything was the same as when he became an omega in his differentiation period.

Yu Hanzhou’s doting attitude towards him was almost without any temper.

Ming Huan suddenly regretted that he had lost his temper.

He also blew up the Capital Star suburb in a fit of anger.

This must have caused a lot of trouble for Yu Hanzhou.

‘Tomorrow, I must apologize to him properly.’

The little dragon who suddenly calmed down inside finally slept peacefully, and had the most restful sleep since three days after the differentiation.

He had a night of dreams.

When he woke up, he opened his eyes and saw the familiar ginkgo leaves falling, and he smelled the sweet smoky fragrance.

Ming Huan spun around under the covers –

The pillow was so soft and the bedding was so smooth.

The quilt covered his head and he rolled happily in a ball. He rolled around on the bed, and his sensitive sense of smell caught a little fragrance of fish soup. Ming Huan decided to give up the warm nest, stepping into Yu Hanzhou’s slippers that were two sizes too big in order to run downstairs.

Sure enough, Yu Hanzhou still hadn’t gone to the Military Department this morning and was waiting downstairs.

It was strange since he obviously had already safely passed the period of differentiation.

“Is it fish soup again today?” Ming Huan received the juice that the AI housekeeper handed to him. He raised his hand to drink it. When the pajama sleeves slipped off, it revealed cuts almost as clean as the other small arm and wrist, “I like it too much, thank you.”

“Don’t be in a hurry to thank me first. Come.”

Yu Hanzhou checked his mental energy and found it to be very stable. He also smoothed up both of his sleeves to make sure those tiny wounds had healed.

He then put the light screen away and folded his legs before he leaned against the sofa to sit upright.

“What happened in the explosion on the outskirts of Capital Star? Give me a brief narrative report in ten minutes’ time.”

Ming Huan, “?”

“And about your purchase of that agricultural planet. From the beginning to the end, briefly.”

Ming Huan, “???”

Yu Hanzhou held the black tea in his hand and took an unhurried sip, “With an explosion of that scope, you shouldn’t think this matter would be so easy to turn over.”

‘How should I feel about this again?’

It was somewhat like a month ago when Yu Hanzhou treated him as an alpha.

Ming Huan slightly balked and subconsciously stood into a very standard military posture. The tip of the nose slightly reddened. He suddenly felt that the fish soup was not fragrant, and the juice in his hand was not sweet.

All the losses in the explosion, he should personally bear it.

It would not be more than four or five hundred million, but he could not afford it so he would have to repair fifty years of warplanes!

“I was also careless, just, it blew up. Not intentionally. I really, really can’t afford to pay for that.” Ming Huan first conceded, holding the cup a little reluctantly, “Didn’t you say that the alpha are supposed to protect the omega….”

“The omegas were raised by other families,” Yu Hanzhou slowly put the black tea in his hand on the coffee table and raised his eyes to look at Ming Huan, “Don’t bomb suburbs.”

Ming Huan used to be unaware that an omega’s mental energy and emotions were linked, so the alpha had to be particularly cajoled by the young omega.

Since he took the class and understood everything, he also guessed that Yu Hanzhou was now 80% a paper tiger that scared people so he would not really want him to pay.

It was very reasonable, but also very lacking in virtue, “You do not have to be so aggressive
.” the little dragon said, “I, I will be angry.”

Yu Hanzhou’s eyelids lifted so slightly that it was hard to tell, “Is that so? Then when you get angry, are you ready to take off your clothes and pants again, and strip them all clean on the spot?”

The tips of the little dragon’s ears suddenly burned red. Even his eyes were rounded, like two huge copper bells. He lowered his head in some panic since he felt shame and his face was red.

‘Yu Hanzhou, that big idiot!’

I would not want to be in Hoth’s shoes, when YH finds out everything, including his identity 😏
The ending of this warm and sweet chapter is amusing. It’s hard for a young dragon to get the better of his older, intelligent, more experienced match 😁
Thank you both for the chapter.
