Part 1
The day after the grand finals ended, almost the entire trending page was filled with strange headlines related to Legend Reappearance.
#MOEWinsFirstChampionship
#MOEBeatsDefendingChampsIKW
#JiJinAndLuYaoDating
#MatchFixingRumorsFalse
#EsportsStarJiJinPregnant
#LuYaoIsTheFather
#JiJinAndLuYaoKissInPublic
Not only did it take over the trending page, but the servers of major platforms also crashed from the flood of posts. Programmers had to work overtime through the night to maintain the systems. Over a dozen teams spent the entire night gossiping, so stuffed with drama that they could barely sleep.
Teams that used to be on good terms with Ji Jin were especially shocked by the explosive revelations, and all expressed how Ji Jin was once again going completely off the rails.
At that moment, Ji Jin—now the reigning champion—was still in the dorm, sleeping in with Ji Xingxing. Ji Xingxing hadn’t been with Ji Jin for a long time and had cried and fussed all night, insisting on sleeping with his dad. Ji Jin had a hard time calming him down.
When Ji Jin woke up, Ji Xingxing was still asleep. Ji Jin poked his son’s soft little face and thought to himself that his kid was also a tiny tyrant. He needed his dad to sleep with him, carry him, and insisted on keeping one hand on his dad’s pregnant belly (for the baby sister) and the other on the “neinei” (breast).
But Ji Jin didn’t even have “neinei.” Still, Ji Xingxing threw a tantrum, and Ji Jin gave in the moment his heart softened.
Ji Jin sighed deeply and remembered Lu Yao’s unspeakable bad habits. Like father, like son—they both liked the same weird things.
While Ji Xingxing was still asleep, Ji Jin quietly got dressed and stepped out of the room. Outside, the atmosphere was strangely tense. Sitting on one side were Ke Yu and Lu Yao; standing on the other side were Zhao Ze and Liu Sha.
The two sides were locked in a silent eye standoff, not saying a word.
“What’s going on here?” Ji Jin raised an eyebrow. How did these two groups suddenly end up facing off?
“God Ji!” Zhao Ze wailed dramatically. “IKW invited you back and even offered a ten-million yuan transfer fee! But MOE would never sell you out. We’re not ungrateful traitors! As long as you want to stay, MOE will always be your home!”
“But…” Ji Jin opened his mouth, trying to speak.
“And MOE’s not that bad! I’ll apply for a raise and better benefits for you! God Ji, you absolutely can’t leave!” Zhao Ze kept rambling non-stop.
“The contract isn’t up yet either, and I believe you’ll want to stay with MOE. You’d never return to that ungrateful IKW!” Zhao Ze was speaking faster and faster, practically tripping over his own tongue.
“But…” Ji Jin finally found a chance to cut in and said cautiously, “But my Alpha is in IKW. And to avoid future accusations of match-fixing, I think… it’s better if I go back. Besides, MOE could use the money for development.”
Zhao Ze’s face turned ashen, completely devastated.
Lu Yao’s eyes lit up, and he stealthily flashed Ji Jin a victory sign with his fingers.
Zhao Ze felt like the cabbage he had raised in his backyard had finally been taken away by a pig.
Ke Yu let out a quiet “yeah,” but then suddenly realized that the pig was also one he had raised. That didn’t feel great either.
Since Ji Jin was leaving MOE, IKW agreed to offer compensation. Aside from the ten-million-yuan transfer fee, the two teams would also begin joint training sessions and a joint youth program, with MOE getting first pick in the first round of the youth training camp.
Only then did Zhao Ze barely accept the outcome.
That afternoon, the trending page exploded again.
#MOEJiJinListedForTransfer
“Listed for transfer” meant that during the current transfer window, the player was open to join any team. Ji Jin had just single-handedly led MOE to a championship, and countless team managers who felt they’d missed a huge opportunity rushed to contact MOE, eager to buy him.
Even Ji Jin’s industry friend, Naisi, called to ask about it.
Before that trending topic could cool down, new headlines surfaced:
#IKWWelcomesJiJin
#IKWExecsWithdrawFunding, LuYaoTakesOverAsCaptainAndOwner
Rumors immediately spread within the scene: Captain Lu Yao of IKW spent his life savings just to bring his beloved home.
Part Two
On the day Ji Jin officially transferred, the entire IKW team posted on Weibo to welcome Ji Jin—now IKW.King—back to the team. Only Lu Yao accidentally used the wrong Weibo account and posted the welcome message from @Ji Jin’s Head-Patting Recommendation Squad.
Although he deleted it in seconds, netizens still took screenshots and circulated them.
The previous post on that same account had said, “Look at this God Ji, so fair and tender—definitely worth the investment.”
That entire month was basically Lu Yao’s public social death in slow motion.
Only his brother understood and accepted him.
“You’re not mad, right, brother? I’ve been hiding it from you this whole time,” Lu Yao said, putting on his innocent, pure-eyed expression again.
But Ji Jin pulled out an old Weibo post—specifically the one that read “Omega God Ji is even sweeter.”
So that cold night, Lu Yao ended up locked outside the bedroom, clinging to the doorframe while watching that little demon Ji Xingxing hog his brother all to himself.
Part Three
Due to the child and the exposure of his pregnant boyfriend, Mama Ji’s long-delayed wedding pressure finally hit. On the third day after the news broke, she stormed over with Ji Huan to “catch” Ji Jin.
That day, Ji Jin was feeling unwell, and Ji Xingxing answered the door.
Mama Ji was instantly charmed by her little grandson and basically forgot her son even existed for half a day while in MOE’s dorms.
Eventually, she did remember.
Since Ji Jin had already met Lu Yao’s parents, it was Lu Yao’s turn to visit the Ji family elders.
The Ji family had a long history in politics, and all the elders carried the mannerisms of retired government officials, sipping tea and playing chess daily. Coincidentally, Lu Yao had been into chess since middle school and managed to play a few decent rounds with Papa Ji.
He even asked Ji Jin to teach him some embroidery techniques.
And just like that, the Ji parents were completely won over, leaving Ji Huan utterly dumbfounded. Weren’t we supposed to be resisting outside forces together? Huh?
Finally, when both families met—
Parents from both sides: “Wait… isn’t this the marriage match we arranged years ago for Ji Jin and Lu Yao?”
Ji Jin was instantly thrown into deep thought. So all that effort escaping the engagement… had been for nothing?
Part Four
After the Autumn Tournament came the Intercontinental and World Championships. There were a lot of matches and a packed schedule. IKW’s ADC had retired, and Ji Jin filled the position, starting the process of team coordination.
But since everyone was already familiar with Ji Jin, the adjustment went smoothly.
The only downside was that Captain Lu Yao and Vice-Captain Ji Jin were just too sweet with each other. Yu Huanhuan ended up bulk-ordering sunglasses and sold them to everyone in the team—surprisingly, they sold really well.
After all, protecting your eyes was essential for gaming.
Later, the ultimate wife-flashing demon Lu Yao wasn’t satisfied with just domestic displays. He started publicly showing off his affection during the intercontinental and world tournaments, blinding players and fans alike around the globe.
Especially since not only did he have an Omega—but an Omega who was pregnant—and the two of them still played matches as a duo.
Eventually, even the national sunglasses industry improved production standards.
In the global Legend Reappearance esports community, IKW became both admired and feared. One, because the loving couple was blinding. Two, because wherever IKW showed up, no championship was left behind.
Part Five
On the day of the world finals, Ji Jin and Lu Yao broke the foreign team’s winning streak and led IKW to seize the world championship trophy.
That night, overwhelmed with excitement, Ji Jin went into labor.
Sure enough, they had twins—one boy and one girl.
Ji Xingxing was terrified by the whole childbirth ordeal and clung to Lu Yao the entire time, not daring to come out until Ji Jin and the newborns were wheeled out.
The babies were wrinkly and tiny, but still undeniably cute.
Lu Yao stayed with Ji Jin, while Ji Xingxing and both families kept the twins company.
That very night, Ji Jin finalized the babies’ names.
The boy was named Lu Chao, nickname Lu Chaochao.
The girl was named Lu Mu, nickname Lu Mumu.
Because—
“The sun, moon, and stars are all called Yao (luminaries).
Morning has the sun, dusk returns to the moon, and stars divide the time between them—all are Yao.
In this vast world, I love three things: the sun, the moon, and you.
The sun is Chao, the moon is Mu, and you are—
Chaochao Mumumu.”

Thank you for bringing this enjoyable story to us.
I loved the characters ~ especially the author’s favourite expression ones… the cabbage and the pig.
Naisi was another I particularly liked, and Ji Huan. It felt rushed at the end, but that hasn’t spoiled it. A good read!
Thank you for your hard work (๓´˘`๓)♡
