on one hand, YES an excuse to not end the novel w the typical “gave birth to/adopted a kid” happy ending. on the other: FFS DUDE THAT’S YOUR KID. honestly tho i prefer the second one bc at least he’s not fostering a neglectful environment or encouraging this creepy contest between a dad and his kid for their ‘mom’ (other dad) just bc neither (usually the kid is very unkidlike and also possessive of their other parent in a very un-filial way) wants to give him up…
Why have a kid in the first place if sharing affections will be a problem. Relationship is wrong and won’t be happy if either have compromised over something so life changing.
Deciding not to have any, if like minded, is much better. Not everyone wants children anyway.
well, a bit annoying. i mean, dude, that’s your kid!
i read some stories that have that kind of trope. and since i can finished the book in peace. so, i guess it’s okay.
the shou sometimes can hold the situation too. like punishing the gong by sleeping with their kid so he can’t get anything that night. that’s quite funny 🤣
