Heinrich looked at the geometric shapes on the sand, opened his mouth slightly and spoke slowly for a while, his voice resonating in his chest and throat, a little low, “When Abyss Fleet flew to ancient Earth, it had to cross the Kuiper asteroid belt, where I picked up a recording box with this symbol on it, and the recording I played to you on Endymion came from this box. “

“Hmm.” Lin Xu answered slowly, he looked at the peak of Heinrich’s slightly moving eyebrows, knowing that the other party’s statement was not yet finished.

“Thirty years ago, when Blizzard was first handed over to me, when I connected to the mental energy system, I saw the image of my mother’s shattered memories before she died, and this symbol also appeared. But the source was never found… You recognize this symbol?”

A few shooting stars streaked across the dark night sky as Heinrich watched Lin Xu. Lin Xu sat slumped, tapping his fingers on the sand, “It has something to do with ancient Earth, but I can’t be sure, it could be a coincidence. When we… When we get to ancient Earth, maybe we’ll know the answer.”

“Okay.” Heinrich didn’t rush or press him, “After leaving the Silver Fortress, it’s two or three months away.”

Lin Xu nodded quietly, lowering his eyelashes. He had always thought that the world where the Marion Empire was located and his original world were parallel, uninvolved, but… but the base symbol appeared among the stars of the galaxy, and was even seen by the Imperials, thousands of light years away. Humans, surviving from the apocalypse?

Lin Xu’s thoughts were interrupted by a meteor in the sky, trailing flames as it swooped down on the two men, the launcher’s powerful thrust sending a gale of wind across the dunes.

Heinrich sat up on the sand, the wound in his ribs aching, and breathed a sigh of relief as Lin Xu held him up. Lin Xu did not say anything, as if the action was natural, Heinrich’s heart was stunned, and even the “shooting star” that landed on the ground ran out of silhouette did not notice until several people rushed to Lin Xu and him. The meteor that crossed the sky just now was an Abyss Fleet ship that came to meet them, but for some reason, the first to arrive was not the army, but Zhou Pingbo.

Zhou Pingbo’s thinning hair was swept by the wind and he shouted at Heinrich, “Marshal Chu, go! Get on the ship and let’s get off this planet right now!”

Heinrich was held by Lin Xu’s arm. Both of them felt the pain of their right leg being cut off in the empathic communion, and both of them limped, but Heinrich had the experience of facing phantom pain, and the limp was smaller.

The hatch was not completely closed and the ship flew off immediately, with strong winds swirling into the vast sand and dust. Zhou Pingbo first ran to the cockpit to confirm the radar map with the pilot, and then, relieved to be done, returned to the cabin and sat down, pulling out a handkerchief to wipe the sweat from his forehead.

He muttered, “Captain Cassandra, Ryan, Ika, Lin Xu, Marshal Chu, we’re all here, and the LK809 and Blizzard are all recovered without leaving anything behind.”

After Heinrich and Lin Xu sat down, Lin Xu let go of his hand. Heinrich looked at Lin Xu’s slender palm on his knee, suddenly thought of something and pressed his chest and coughed a few times. Lin Xu was staring at Zhou Pingbo’s condition, but when he heard Heinrich’s cough, he raised his hand and caressed his shoulder, “Are you having a hard time?”

Heinrich subconsciously opened his mouth to say no, but when the words came to his lips, they turned into, “A little…”

Lin Xu’s palm patted again and didn’t move away, so Heinrich leaned in comfortably and sheepishly. Ika and Ryan were sitting in the corner, and the doctor accompanying them was helping Ika with emergency epidermal radiation treatment.

Ryan looked at the rapidly festering skin on Ika’s hands after the strong radiation, his expression hard, “Why did you have to rush into the blast ruins? You don’t understand the damage of strong radiation, what do you need, can’t you go back later? Why can’t you take care of yourself?”

Ika looked at his hands and didn’t say anything. Only Zhou Pingbo sighed, “There is no after…. I told them that Marshal and Abyss Fleet’s soldiers were still on the planet, and that Marshal’s corpse would not be left and they would be cursed to death by the Imperial public! They just finally gave me a few hours’ grace and I rushed here to fish you out. But how did you three end up on this planet?”

Zhou Pingbo frowned and glared at Ryan, Ika and Lin Xu, extremely puzzled, wasn’t the only one who went looking for the Zerg source, the five-man mecha formation led by Heinrich? Heinrich gave him a look, Zhou Pingbo shut up and withdrew his eyes, slapped his knees and stood up, fished out the resupplied water and nutrients and handed them to the miserable five people.

He said to Heinrich, “The Abyss Fleet and the Silver Fortress both lost a lot of men. In addition to reinforcements from the Golden Cross line, Imperial also sent the Elam Fleet of the Sixth Legion to support them, and they also brought the order to turn on the Star Destroyer.”

Ryan shuddered when he heard about the Elam fleet. Zhou Pingbo handed Ika the nutrient, but Ika shook his head no. Ryan helped him explain, “He’s already thrown up a few times from the high speed mecha, let him take it easy.”

“Okay.” Zhou Pingbo also did not force the issue, but when he turned his head, someone on the other side really threw up.

Lin Xu leaned over and vomited, and the orange nutrient fell to the side, scattering all over the floor, but he hadn’t eaten since he drank the tube of nutrient when he woke up yesterday, and now he could only vomit out the acid in his stomach.

“What’s going on here?” Zhou Pingbo watched in bewilderment as Heinrich busied himself with finding paper towels and water for Lin Xu, “Both of you are dizzy from the mecha?”

“He doesn’t feel mecha anymore.” After answering Zhou Pingbo’s question, Heinrich lowered his head to Lin Xu’s ear, “You’ve been uncomfortable, what happened?”

“Smelling the nutrients…makes me want to throw up.” Lin Xu said and barely stopped vomiting.

“This is the regular model you were using, huh?” Zhou Pingbo was confused.

The accompanying doctor squeezed him out of the way and came up to check on Lin Xu’s condition, concluding that he had an irritated stomach and told him to drink some supplemental fluids and get some rest.

The ship lifted into space in a series of sonic booms, and outside the porthole was instantly dark, except for a giant yellow orb with a reflection slowly spinning.

The black hole explosion cut off a steady stream of Zerg, and with the Imperial army’s sweeping advance, the ship occasionally encountered a few small Zerg, all of which were quickly resolved by the ship’s cannon.

Lin Xu, pale and resting against the bulkhead, his spirit finally relaxed from the high tension, began to nod and doze off after a moment of silence.

Heinrich approached, “There are beds in the back, go to bed and sleep for a while. It will be two or three hours before we reach the Silver Fortress.”

He picked up Lin Xu by the waist and headed for a separate room in the rear cabin. The doctor accompanying him looked at Marshal’s broad back in disbelief, but everyone but him had a normal look on their faces, and he had to try to control his uninformed expression.

He opened his eyes slightly, looked at the handsome face close at hand, and asked in a dazed voice, “Your ribs don’t hurt anymore?”

Heinrich’s hand still on Lin Xu’s waist stiffened. It hurts, but it doesn’t affect Heinrich’s movements, so it’s not a big deal. But Lin Xu would read about his injury, which was of some use.

Lin Xu leaned back against the pillow and drifted off to sleep, as if the question just now was just a dreamy sentence, without the latter. Heinrich, who was almost exposed, sighed with relief and sat down next to Lin Xu’s bed.

Lin Xu was awakened for a moment by the shaking of the ship when the star destroyer opened the stargate to destroy the yellow planet, which was already far away, and through the porthole he could see the huge planet turning into flaming rubble in the silent universe under human technology.

Although the ship left the Silver Fortress in a hurry amidst Zhou Pingbo’s curses, the Commander of the Elam Fleet gave Heinrich face when he landed on the return trip, and he was there to greet him personally, with his close guards.

Before landing, Heinrich simply cleaned his face of dust and changed into a new uniform and white gloves.

As soon as he stepped off the ship, the commander of the Elam fleet greeted him with two steps forward, and the two saluted each other in greeting.

“Good work Marshal Chu.”

This was a middle-aged male alpha with a stern brow, and a cold, hard and disciplined military style all over.

“Thank you General Kalt for coming to support us.” Heinrich said lightly.

“This is the duty of Imperial soldiers like me.” Kalt had the sharp eyes of an eagle, and after greeting Heinrich, these eyes swept over the people walking down from the ship. Ryan’s hair stood on end as he stared, almost wanting to hide behind Professor Lin, but he couldn’t let go of the frail Ika, and had to fight back his stern old man’s gaze. Kalt grunted coldly, his frown deepening at the sight of the soft omega beside his son.

Away for two days, Heinrich had to confirm the war status with Kalt and Hill, and the accompanying doctor suggested that the rest of the group get a physical,  giving Ryan a chance to pull up his leg with Ika and run. Lin Xu was persuaded by Zhou Pingbo to see the doctor.

Ruth made the appointment for him remotely and when Lin Xu arrived, the doctor in a white coat was already waiting in the consultation room. She listened to Lin Xu’s calm account of the explosion and emergency landing, told Lin Xu not to worry, and first helped him with the UV sunburn on his face and shoulders, during which the blood test report came back. Lin Xu sat across from her desk and watched the doctor’s eyebrows twist up in a tangle as her gaze slid along the report, “What’s the problem?”

The doctor woke up and said with a smile, “No, just thinking that your current physical condition may not be suitable for the medical cabin. The medical cabin rays will have an unknown effect on the normal synthesis of newborn DNA. It is best to take only special drugs that have little effect, and you will not get well as fast. I will give you some medicine, you take it according to medical advice, a week will be able to heal all.” The doctor looked at Lin Xu with an extra soft tone, “It’s just that your hormones are fluctuating above normal, so be calm and careful these days, especially if you’re a male beta.”

Do medical bay rays have a strong enough effect on the DNA synthesis of adult male beta? Or is this a genetic instability caused by proximity to black holes and strong energy fields? Lin Xu didn’t fully understand the doctor’s words, but the second half of the sentence sounded like customary instructions, and he thought no more about it.

The robot orb assistant handed Lin Xu the medicine in a transparent bag, the bottles were marked with red and blue hearts. He took the medicine, thanked her, and left.

He walked a few steps and felt a little sick to his stomach and went around to the bathroom to rinse his face. The bottles and jars of medicine were placed on the sink, and Lin Xu bent down to hold the water to his face, when he suddenly saw a figure stop beside him.

There were many empty sinks in this row, so this figure was not waiting in line. Lin Xu got up and looked up and saw Katherine looking at him and then at the medicine bottle, with a complicated look, wanting to say something several times.

“Miss Hill, can I help you?” Lin Xu asked.

She looked at Lin Xu’s cheeks, which seemed to have lost some weight again, and all the thoughts she had just thought of bullying Lin Xu into persuading Heinrich to join her in marriage basically dissipated clean.

“You… Don’t be too thin, it’s not good for your health.”

Lin Xu: ?

Katherine looked again at the medicine bottle in Lin Xu’s hand, the red and blue heart pattern was printed on the mouth of the bottle, childish and warm. This was the logo of Imperial pregnancy-specific medicine. There were some male betas with fertility functions, but the probability of actually conceiving was extremely low because of their congenital structure.

Katherine had previously thought to help Heinrich cover up his inability to do so, but now it seemed like a mistake – he was so good at it! Even the male beta’s belly could get bigger.

But Lin Xu’s condition now looked a little worse, and Katherine thought of how the two of them had seemed to be at odds at the ball, and a sudden wave of sadness rose in her heart as she went up to hold Lin Xu’s hand,

“Dr. Lin, if you’re feeling depressed, come and talk to me. If Heinrich Chu treats you badly, you can also come to me.”

Katherine thought that since Heinrich had not officially stated that Lin Xu was his lover, nor had he announced that Lin Xu was pregnant by him, he was afraid that his feelings were not as good as he thought. Lin Xu was a male beta, and she feared he hadn’t learned much about fertility, but she knew quite a bit. So if Lin Xu was forced to keep a secret for Heinrich, only she could barely comfortably guide Lin Xu.

Lin Xu looked at Katherine’s suddenly reddened eyes: ?

“Miss Hill,” an icy yet familiar voice accompanied by the sound of military boots hitting the ground came, “Lin Xu is going on to Ancient Earth, and it’s time for you to return to Capital Star.”

Heinrich’s golden eyes swept over her.
