Chapter 75: A Tragic End

Translated by Addis of Exiled Rebels Scanlations

Editor: Karai

Lu Ming’s cheeks reddened slightly, his eyes tightly closed, and his long, thick eyelashes trembled ever so slightly like a small fan, brushing gently against Sang Wusheng’s face, causing a deep itch that stirred something inside him, building ever higher.

Lu Ming silently endured Sang Wusheng’s fiery, frantic kisses. Sang Wusheng’s cold, trembling fingers caressed the red spot on his chest. Unable to control himself, Lu Ming let out a soft groan, gripping his arm tightly, his nails almost digging into the flesh.

Lu Ming whispered, “Not there, please.”

Sang Wusheng’s lips slowly traveled downward, biting the protruding Adam’s apple on Lu Ming’s neck. He pinched one of the red spots between his fingers, gently rubbing it, and chuckled softly, “Brother, you clearly like it. See? You’re hard.”

Lu Ming, feeling a twinge of shame, bit his lip, his body flushed with desire, his gaze clouded with a mist of lust.

Sang Wusheng seemed unable to hold back any longer. His movements grew more frantic. He hastily stripped Lu Ming of all his clothes, his warm lips and tongue traveling downward, finally reaching Lu Ming’s legs. He opened his mouth and took in his half-soft member.

“Ah!” Lu Ming couldn’t help but cry out, feeling a wave of pleasure wash over him. His eyes squinted with bliss, and tears began to form in the corners of his eyes. He braced himself on the ground with his hands, his body too weak to support itself, his neck arched back, sweat forming in delicate beads across his beautifully shaped neck. A series of broken groans escaped his lips.

Sang Wusheng took care of him until his body felt like it was melting, his mind blank, overwhelmed by pleasure as it sparked every nerve. Sang Wusheng sucked forcefully, and Lu Ming could no longer hold back, crying out in release.

Gradually, Lu Ming’s mind cleared, and he suddenly realized what had just happened. His face flushed as he recalled the release in Sang Wusheng’s mouth. Sang Wusheng’s deep eyes were like the ocean, his lips stained with white fluid, a provocative sight. He stuck out his tongue and licked his lips, his eyes gleaming with teasing amusement. “Brother, your taste is so strong.”

Lu Ming was so embarrassed he could barely lift his head. His body had become extremely sensitive from Sang Wusheng’s touch, and with the lingering effects of the ghostly poison in his system, he couldn’t withstand any more teasing.

Sang Wusheng reached up, licking Lu Ming’s lips, his fingers trembling as they traced the smooth, bare skin. He spoke hoarsely, “Brother, I won’t give you a chance to regret this. You can only be mine.”

=========================Harmonious Divider=============================

Lu Ming woke up with his whole body aching, rubbing his eyes and glancing over at Sang Wusheng, who was gnashing his teeth. He only remembered being exhausted to the point of fainting, after which Sang Wusheng had injected him with spiritual energy to wake him up, followed by yet another round of intense and relentless activity. For several days, he had been tortured over and over again, his body sore and bruised, his lower body so swollen that he could barely close his legs. Sang Wusheng, however, still had no intention of letting him off, and once he regained his strength, they continued their rough encounters for several more rounds.

Lu Ming sighed helplessly. “You’re really going to wear me out,” he muttered.

With a dissatisfied look on his face, Lu Ming slapped Sang Wusheng awake and said, “Hurry up and clean up, there’s still fighting outside!”

Sang Wusheng stirred slowly, his eyes filled with the confusion of someone just waking up. When he focused on Lu Ming, the tenderness and affection in his gaze almost overwhelmed Lu Ming, who stiffly got to his feet, rubbing his sore waist, and walked towards the nearby hot spring.

Sang Wusheng got up, reached out, and pulled Lu Ming toward him. Lu Ming let out a surprised gasp and fell backward, landing into Sang Wusheng’s warm embrace.

Sang Wusheng held him tightly from behind and murmured, “Brother, am I dreaming? Did you really come to be by my side?”

Lu Ming felt a pang of emotion mixed with amusement. He never realized how cheesy the guy could be. He patted his hand and helplessly said, “Idiot, stop saying useless things, let go of me.”

Sang Wusheng didn’t want to let go, and like a playful puppy, he teased Lu Ming for a while, licking and nibbling at him. Lu Ming, embarrassed and irritated, slapped him on the head, and only then did Sang Wusheng reluctantly let go, picking Lu Ming up and flying toward the hot spring.

The water was just the right temperature. Lu Ming yawned, leaning against the side, closing his eyes to rest. Sang Wusheng, however, was forbidden from getting too close and could only watch Lu Ming from a distance, his gaze tinged with melancholy.

The intense, burning gaze almost made Lu Ming collapse under its weight. He opened his eyes, quickly changing the subject, “The situation outside is so chaotic, do you have a plan?”

Sang Wusheng lowered his head in thought for a moment, then raised it again, speaking while quietly moving closer to Lu Ming, “Ming Duo didn’t come here for you. I think he must be after the He family’s secret treasure as well.”

Lu Ming pretended not to notice Sang Wusheng’s subtle movements, only frowning and replying, “That makes sense. Ming Duo is now at the mid-stage of the Great Ascension. With both of us together, we might be able to fight him, but your demonic identity cannot be exposed. In that case, joining forces against him is the worst option, we can’t just fight head-on.”

Sang Wusheng nodded, rubbing Lu Ming’s shoulder as he spoke, “He Yuanqi is also not to be underestimated. He has learned the demonic arts, and facing him is tricky. Although he’s not my match, he’s still troublesome. Since our goal is to find the Blood River Grass in the treasure, it’s better not to face them directly for now. It’s better to wait for the right moment and take them out one by one.”

Lu Ming thought for a moment and agreed. He and Sang Wusheng quickly washed up and changed into clean clothes, then concealed their auras, transforming into two seemingly ordinary young men.

Next, Lu Ming took out two seeds from his interspatial ring, murmured a few incantations, and infused his spiritual energy into them. The seeds quickly began to sprout. Half an hour later, two buds appeared, and after both of them pricked their fingers to draw blood, the buds slowly bloomed, revealing miniature versions of Lu Ming and Sang Wusheng.

Sang Wusheng exclaimed in surprise, “Brother, you even learned the Ghost Clan’s puppet technique?”

Lu Ming smiled and nodded, “This puppet technique is both useful and fun, so I secretly learned it.”

The two tiny figures stretched, stood up, and jumped down from the plant stems. Lu Ming then placed two talismans on their foreheads. The talismans seemed to merge into their bodies and quickly disappeared. Then, the two figures slowly grew, eventually becoming adult versions of Lu Ming and Sang Wusheng before stopping.

Lu Ming said, “When we exit the space, we’ll hide as quickly as possible. These two puppets will take on our appearances.”

Sang Wusheng looked worried, “Although the puppets carry our aura, over time, Ming Duo and the others will surely notice. Instead, how about…”

Lu Ming asked, “Instead of what?”

Sang Wusheng, naturally, said, “It would be better for the puppet brother to follow the dead puppet brother in a double suicide, preferably burning their bodies to ashes. That way, they won’t be able to tell who’s who.”

Lu Ming blushed at the impure thought that crossed his mind. However, Sang Wusheng’s idea made sense—the best course of action was to dispose of the puppets. Even if Ming Duo and He Yuanqi later realized something was wrong, they would have gained more time to enter the treasure and find the Blood River Grass.

Once they had agreed on the plan, Sang Wusheng hugged Lu Ming tightly, and they both felt a sudden spinning sensation before they were transported out of the space. In an instant, Sang Wusheng cast an invisibility spell, hiding their figures, while Lu Ming controlled the puppets to reenact the previous scene where he had fallen to the ground, holding Sang Wusheng.

The two synchronized perfectly, and no one noticed anything wrong.

The puppet Lu Ming stared blankly at the puppet Sang Wusheng’s body in his arms. A drop of blood-tear slid down his cheek. He suddenly murmured a few incantations, and golden flames erupted, consuming both puppets. The puppet Lu Ming remained unperturbed by the flames, only lowering his head to look at the puppet Sang Wusheng, whispering, “I’ll stay with you.”

With that, the fire blazed furiously, and before He Yuanqi and the others could react, the flames had completely incinerated the two bodies, leaving only ashes behind.

Everyone was stunned by this sudden turn of events. The He family’s young master and that Sang family young master… had actually committed suicide together?!

It was so absurd that they could barely process it!

He Yuanqi’s eyes turned crimson as he stared at the pile of ashes, his expression terrifying. It seemed like he couldn’t bear the shock, and after glaring at the ashes for a moment, he suddenly let out a furious roar and staggered away.

Ming Duo silently watched the ashes from a distance. His black eyes betrayed no emotion. After a long time, he sighed softly and murmured, “They’re dead, it’s better this way.”

Ming Duo smiled lightly, raising his hand as he walked toward the entrance of the Zen Mountain Cave.

Seeing Ming Duo lead the way, the others realized with shock that the legendary, impenetrable barrier had been easily broken by this unknown person!

Everyone rushed toward the cave entrance, and Daoist Zi Yang  watched helplessly as they all hurried inside. For a moment, it felt like he had aged ten years. He no longer had the strength to stop them. He couldn’t even begin to imagine what would happen to the future of the Cultivation World. Even the He family’s young master, whom he had placed so much hope on, had committed suicide for love. It was utterly unbelievable! Ridiculous!

Zi Yang’s disciples rushed over to support him, whispering, “Master, you’ve already done your best. Let’s go.”

Daoist Zi Yang  sighed deeply, gave one last look at the giant door, and stood up, leaving dejectedly.

Meanwhile, Lu Ming and Sang Wusheng, who had “committed suicide,” were now following the others into the legendary Zen Mountain Cave.

Beyond the giant door was an endless darkness, where even night vision seemed useless. Lu Ming and Sang Wusheng had no choice but to feel their way forward. The deeper they went, the heavier the sense of oppression became. About half an hour later, they both felt a tightness in their chests, realizing that the air was growing thinner.

Everyone felt the discomfort, but no one dared to retreat, all pushing forward with sheer willpower. In the darkness, there were constant sounds of people collapsing, and those who fell never moved again.

Lu Ming’s heart grew cold. They had barely entered the Zen Mountain Cave, and already more than half the group had fallen. But this cave-like place was indeed strange and eerie. No magic artifacts or talismans could be used here. Otherwise, they wouldn’t have died so quickly.

After another half hour of walking, only a few dozen people remained in the long line. All of them were weak, sweating profusely, holding on only by willpower. Finally, a long-awaited light appeared ahead. The crowd rejoiced, forgetting the pain, and rushed toward it.

Lu Ming and Sang Wusheng hurried forward as well. The light grew larger, and after running a few dozen meters, they finally escaped the terrifying dark cave and emerged into the open.

Before anyone could process what had happened, they were all stunned by the sight before them.

Better together.
I liked JM / SW, but was so disappointed in his actions. LM is forgiving him though, so hoping he won’t be so cruel toward FS anymore.

Oh, the wait!
Thank you both for the chapter.
