Chapter 31: The “Additional Agreement” Still Works Well

Translated by Addis of Exiled Rebels Scanlations

In order to prevent Luo Futu’s face from causing trouble, or attracting people to look at him, or to verbally flirt with him, which would cause him to curse people in the moment, Zhou Yan simply found a black veil to cover up his face. This town was much livelier than Kohl Town, and there were all kinds of people dressed up on the street.

However, this action again caused Luo Futu’s misunderstanding, and he stared at Zhou Yan for a long time before he said, “I did not expect you to have such a possessive desire for my appearance?”

Zhou Yan’s face was even a bit tense. In all honesty, if not afraid of causing trouble, he would not care even if he wanted to go out completely naked. However, it was best not to explain so much this time. The more he explained it to Luo Futu, the more energetic he would become so ignoring him was the best way to deal with it.

Zhou Yan and Luo Futu went out. Outside, the crowd was almost scattered with only a few people still along the route of the carriage picking up silver leaves on the ground. The small iron ore factory owner was very open-minded. All the way through the street, he had been scattering silver leaves. The commoners who were not interested in this matter also followed the wagon to pick up the leaves.

It was clear that he liked the feeling of being noticed.

Luo Futu had just taken a step forward when he accidentally stepped on a leaf under his feet. He looked at the leaf and suddenly let out a laugh, as if he thought that it was childish. “A cheap imitation.”

Zhou Yan did not understand and asked, “What does it mean?”

“The earth sprinkles golden leaves, which means that the wisdom of God is sprinkled on the earth, so that people can pick it up, representing that they have suffered the will of God. It’s a very religiously conscious ritual, and well…. The day I became a high priest, I threw gold leaves at the altar. But this behavior is similar to what you said, it is a kind of brainwashing ritual of ordinary people, and then I stopped playing along.”

Zhou Yan suddenly realized, “So Gabriel is imitating you, maybe he is still your fanboy.”

Luo Futu frowned and seemed reluctant to admit it. “I’m not the only one who has done this, so what makes you think he’s imitating me?”

‘He did have a lot of followers, but the quality of his followers was also important, not Gabriel’s.’

Zhou Yan gave him a funny look and then bent down to pick up a leaf that had fallen at his feet before he handed it over. “Look.”

He was about to say something when a man suddenly rushed over from a distance, pushed Zhou Yan and shouted, “Get out of the way!”

Zhou Yan was unprepared and was pushed by the man. Luo Futu hurriedly opened his arms to catch him.

Zhou Yan hit his wound; Luo Futu could not help but frown. Zhou Yan also felt it, and he hurriedly stood up and touched Luo Futu’s chest. “Did the wound re-open?”

“No.” Luo Futu only said one word.

The person who pushed Zhou Yan away came over again at this time and squeezed Zhou Yan and Luo Futu together as he picked up the remaining pieces of silver leaves under his feet to put into a small bag before he swaggered away.

The other man was wearing the same clothes as the waiter, looking as if he matched Gabriel.

Zhou Yan clasped his arms and stared at the man, but was suddenly blocked by a piece of black veil in front of him. It was Luo Futu’s sleeve. His sleeve seemed to be held up in the air by something, as if he was using his spiritual power to produce the same effect. Zhou Yan then saw the sleeve fly forward, and the man in the waiter’s clothes fell in the air before his back fell hard on the ground.

Zhou Yan was dumbfounded, and he hastily pulled Luo Futu, but the latter used a very clever force to remove Zhou Yan’s strength. He waved his hand again, and the man flew up from the air and hit the ground hard again. The man was already lifted up by Luo Futu and dropped to the ground five or six times, and he was bruised and swollen like a pig’s head.

“Enough is enough! Calm down!”

Luo Futu finally stopped. Looking far away, he saw that there were a lot of people watching. After all, a person walking on the road suddenly fell on the spot. This scene looked too bizarre.

“Be patient.” Zhou Yan lowered his voice and gave him fierce words. When he looked up, he saw Luo Futu staring coldly at the man not far away. From under the veil, he said, “I’m calm.”

After he finished, he lowered his head to look at Zhou Yan. “If not calm, he would have died long ago.”

His voice was indeed very calm, and it was not as if he had done this act of punishment in the heat of anger, but rather in passing. It was precisely because he did not feel that this kind of counterattack was excessive, and even making this kind of counterattack would not cause him to have a mood swing, that he felt calm.

Zhou Yan understood that Luo Futu was used to doing whatever he wanted, so suddenly asking him to be patient seemed a bit overwhelming. He softened his tone a bit. “…. Don’t make a big deal out of it.”

Luo Futu frowned. “I stood up for you, and you blame me? I can’t believe you have the virtue of repaying virtue with grievance?”

Zhou Yan heard the mockery in his tone and paused. “We are here to find someone to work with, so it is not appropriate to invite trouble. Besides, I didn’t do anything wrong just now, so why bother with him?”

“Hmph.”

Luo Futu didn’t want to listen to Zhou Yan’s advice and stepped forward. “I’m going to kill him now, I want to see what kind of right and wrong can be invoked.”

“…. Luo Futu!” Zhou Yan grabbed Luo Futu, and when he couldn’t pull him, he got angry. He grabbed him by the collar and yanked him back as he pinned him against the wall. Zhou Yan stared at him and said through clenched teeth, “Additional agreement, three days!”

Luo Futu froze, and in the next moment, Zhou Yan ripped off his veil and kissed him roughly. Luo Futu subconsciously held his breath as Zhou Yan angrily grabbed his collar and nibbled hard on his lips. After the initial daze, Luo Futu quickly reacted by wrapping his arms around Zhou Yan’s waist and pulling him towards him before forcefully prying open his teeth in a counter-attack and forcing him to tangle with his lips and tongue.

‘How could he be satisfied with just the touch of his lips?’ Kissing was naturally a full-on affair. Zhou Yan would do this because of the heat of the moment, but Luo Futu would never let go of any opportunity— especially an opportunity he created himself. Zhou Yan threw himself to the door, so he would firmly grasp it in his hands.

So this “additional agreement”, which was originally intended to be arranged for only three days, was forced by Luo Futu.

Luo Futu was stretched by seven days, eight days, or even longer…. He hugged Zhou Yan against the wall and kissed him with forgetfulness, with one hand on the back of his neck, as if he wanted to rub him into his body.

Zhou Yan originally only wanted to stop at one, so that Luo Futu could listen to his words, but he did not expect that once he started, he had no control over how the rest would go. Zhou Yan tried to push Luo Futu away several times, but he immediately fell into his kiss, as if he had been injected with anesthesia. He tried to resist but was unable to do so.

After a long time, Zhou Yan was suffocating so Luo Futu let go of him. Zhou Yan’s legs were weak, and he grabbed his clothes. The latter held Zhou Yan’s face, licking and biting him gently on the lips a few times before reluctantly letting go.

Zhou Yan gasped violently. He did not know whether it was because of anger or other reasons, but his heart was pounding violently against his chest cavity. Zhou Yan slightly lowered his head and his eyes were hanging down coldly because the atmosphere burned too much. Zhou Yan did not want to look at Luo Futu, and the words he wanted to say could not be said.

Luo Futu seemed to understand his mood. He looked at Zhou Yan and said softly, “If you are a devout Buddhist, you should not feel embarrassed. Your sect has a story of cutting flesh to feed the eagle, and you think of it as sacrificing yourself to save others. It’s such a noble thing.”

“Shut up.” Zhou Yan felt that he had made this decision very rashly and outrageously, and he now regretted it a little. In that case, if Luo Futu really wanted to go back to kill, he couldn’t seem to stop him. He could not knock him out as a patient who was already seriously injured.

“Why can’t you be more conscious and not hurt people? Why do you need others to take the initiative to control you, do you really want to be a monster?”

Luo Futu laughed a little. “If it’s a monster controlled by you, I’m willing.”

Zhou Yan was completely speechless. Luo Futu watched him lower his head and smoothly hung back the black veil. “As promised, I’ll listen to you. But I would expect you to ask me to help you kill someone next time you enable this additional treaty, not to spare someone.”

Luo Futu did not dislike good people as no one would dislike good people. Zhou Yan’s kindness and goodness was just right, and it would even be desirable. Luo Futu, a shady devil, would prefer good people who were opposites to him. However, he would prefer Zhou Yan to be kind only to himself and not to others— there was no point otherwise.

Zhou Yan raised his eyes to him, his breathing still a little unsteady. “I’m not that kind…. There is a reason to stop you.”

Luo Futu raised his eyebrows in confusion before Zhou Yan said, “I was too reckless to pick up this leaf. Did you notice that the person you cleaned up, the one who grabbed the leaves from us, was actually one of Gabriel’s men. I suspect that they scattered the leaves to attract people around, and then had their own men strike out and secretly recover the leaves. If you are discovered when beating that man, you would be in trouble with Gabriel. We still have to work with him, so don’t antagonize him on such trivial matters.”

Luo Futu frowned at this. “Are you sure you want to work with such a mean and hypocritical fame-grabber?”

Zhou Yan looked up at him. “It’s ‘we’.”

“Okay, ‘we’.” Luo Futu repeated it with deep meaning.

Zhou Yan immediately explained, “Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mean anything else, I’m just reminding you that you also need this mecha.”

Luo Futu stretched his hands. “It’s okay, you can have it too.”

“….” Zhou Yan felt that if he continued to dwell with him, he would have to dwell on it until the evening, so he simply changed the subject. He opened his hand and handed the leaf to Luo Futu. “Look at this leaf.”

Only after the latter turned out the leaf did Zhou Yan explain, “This leaf is exquisitely crafted, rolled very thinly, with clear texture and no damage to the leaf’s surface…. Know what this proves? Gabriel not only holds the iron ore mills, but also most likely possesses superior forging technology, and may be able to meet the requirements for making mecha. Working with him would be the most convenient option.”

Luo Futu pinched a strand of black hair and slowly curled it around his finger. His eyes narrowed with a smile. “Not unreasonable, I would like to meet this man now.”

Zhou Yan nodded and turned to walk out. Luo Futu noticed a hint of urgency in his steps and didn’t reveal it— he was just running away, not completely unfeeling about himself.

When they kissed, Zhou Yan gave him the feeling that there was no mistake. There was no such thing as a good feeling for nothing in the world.

Zhou Yan and Luo Futu moved along with the parade to Gabriel’s home. His family was really rich, and this may be the real meaning of the “family mine”. As the two arrived at Gabriel’s house, they saw a mountain behind the house, and people could occasionally be seen walking on the mountain.

They actually built a house in front of the iron ore plant….

Zhou Yan went to knock on the door. The butler opened the door, saw Zhou Yan and looked him up and down before closing the door. “The mine registration is at the back of the mountain.”

The butler saw that he wasn’t dressed that flamboyantly and took him for a job recruiter.

Zhou Yan froze for a moment and hurriedly pushed the door to stop him from closing it. “I’m not here to apply for a job, I want to see Gabriel.”

As soon as the butler heard his words, he showed a disdainful expression. “To see our Marshal? You don’t know what you’re talking about, you want to see him?”

‘Marshal? Isn’t he a mine factory owner, why should he be called ‘Marshal’?’

Luo Futu also walked to Zhou Yan at this time, just in time to hear this sentence. He suddenly smiled coldly. “The so-called king of hell is good at fighting, the little kid is difficult, this is the meaning, right?”

Zhou Yan glanced at him— although this was the meaning, saying it in front of others was not good.

“Please explain to your Marshal that I have come to tell him something about that monster. As the great hero who killed the beast, he is the only one who deserves to know about it.”

‘They call a creature like a Lurian a “beast”, which seemed… appropriate.’

Luo Futu frowned at Zhou Yan and seemed eager to take action, but he couldn’t because of the additional agreement they had just made.

Zhou Yan said with a cold face, “Break in.”

As soon as Luo Futu heard these words, he immediately pushed a fierce hand on the butler. A clear light came out from his hand and hit the doorman in the chest, causing the man to be directly knocked back a few meters.

Then Zhou Yan barged straight in, and Luo Futu thoughtfully closed the door. He followed Zhou Yan and laughed strangely. “So it’s good to be a fighter.”

Zhou Yan gave him an expressionless look. “If you like it, there will be plenty of opportunities later.”

As he said, he was not a kind person.

  1. I get that they need Gabriel, but I’m pretty sure it’s going to invite as much trouble, if not more than, gain. Still, LF wouldn’t mind, as he could curse, injure and even kill; all in self-defence of course 😉
Thank you both for the chapter.
