Looking at the boy’s blushing cheeks in surprise, Arthur added, “I’m going to a party, so keep an eye on this guy for me.”

The boy called Ivan immediately puffed up his small chest and said loudly, “Brother Arthur don’t worry, I promise to complete the task!”

“You’re ugly.” That was the first thing Ivan said to Luo XiaoLou as he stared at him with a pitying look, then turned to pour water.

Luo XiaoLou sat on the chair designated by Ivan and observed the house. It was large, but not spacious because of the amount of stuff that had been placed in it, and the huge TV hanging on the wall was broadcasting interstellar news about another alien beast found somewhere, and that the capital was welcoming their prince – in short, events that had nothing to do with him.

There were also some large cabinets, and a large round table in the middle of the room. A couple of comfortable high-backed chairs were there, and a large gray and black striped cat was sleeping on them.

A very ordinary but cozy house. Luo XiaoLou scanned the door, but there was no one else in the room but the boy.

After the meal, Luo XiaoLou washed up and changed into the clothes Ivan had found, then was led to a room where Ivan said, “You will live here from now on.”

The next day, Luo XiaoLou was awakened by Ivan. He blinked to find both Arthur and Ivan standing in the doorway watching him. Luo XiaoLou sat up in his unusually warm bed, and a large grey cat stretched out from under his blankets and padded slowly out.

125 complained, “It’s fat, and it was rubbing all over me.”

Luo XiaoLou’s mouth trembled, but Ivan called out, “Why is Big Fat here? Doesn’t he only like beauties?”

Arthur laughed and looked Luo XiaoLou up and down.

Luo XiaoLou ignored Arthur and got up to eat breakfast with the two of them. As they were eating, the door was pushed open from outside.

Luo XiaoLou looked up to see Luen and the tall, thin young man named Li, who had been following Arthur around.

Luen remained silent as usual, while Li looked at Luo XiaoLou twice and said, “Since Big Brother brought him back, we can’t let him eat for free. Why don’t we let him follow Bai Heng and fight.”
