Cyril still had a lot to tell Luo XiaoLou, besides worrying about the sealed place, which was his responsibility as a guide. 125 was typically the victim of a guilty conscience at the sight of Yuan Xi. Luo XiaoLou was silent for a while, crouching, fumbling on the ground, and after a slight noise, Luo XiaoLou said, “I don’t want to talk to you.”

The pink cloud-colored stone with the three circular stone platforms in the middle had disappeared into the air, it was now a simple underground stone cave.

Cyril glanced at the top, then turned back to Luo XiaoLou, looking deeply at him, and said softly, “I will take the beasts outside, they were brought here by me, in order to hold off Yuan Xi and the others. Take care of yourself.”

Luo XiaoLou likewise said, “Take care of yourself. If – if what I did today has caused you trouble, you can come to me.”

Luo XiaoLou had to pluck up the courage to say the last words, for he himself was a little doubtful that he could be of any use. But he liked Cyril just as much as he liked 125. He’d taken 125 as family, and he’d take Cyril as a special friend. A friend who was the only one who knew his two bloodlines and his identity but didn’t hate him at all.

There was no pressure on him in Cyril’s presence. A friendship that was completely different from Tian Li or Yates.

Cyril gave Luo XiaoLou’s hand a quick shake and said, “Of course, and I hope you’ll come visit or settle on my planet soon.”

Luo XiaoLou’s eyelids fluttered, “I’ll contact you as well, for the unfinished part of the story you told me. It’s prudent to reconsider my being a guest though. Maybe that’s when I’ll be hunted down for revealing my identity.”

Cyril smiled, “Beg to differ. Yuan Xi will be coming down soon and I have to go.”

Luo XiaoLou offered Cyril a hug this time, and Cyril froze, staring at Luo XiaoLou, guessing the words Luo XiaoLou had written quickly as they had shook hands.

Cyril went from being eager to leave to a state of reluctance, but at Luo XiaoLou’s urging, Cyril went through the door after touching the mechanism in the wall of the cave with a complex face.

After the man left, Luo XiaoLou suddenly thought of a question, How should he explain to Yuan Xi that he was here?

At that moment, Luo XiaoLou heard 125’s voice, “Come on, lie down with me and we can play dead. I can guide you to play dead more naturally, come on, so that Yuan Xi won’t pursue it.” 125 patted the ground generously beside him.

Luo XiaoLou looked at 125 with a black face, but what was even more depressing was that he actually found the ground on which 125 was lying down attractive. Maybe it was because he was about to meet with Yuan Xi soon, with Yuan Xi and 125, he couldn’t help but want to relax his tense and tired nerves and lie down to rest.

What could be better than this?

Luo XiaoLou bent down and picked up 125, turned around and walked towards the steps.

125 could even feel Luo XiaoLou trembling slightly as he held him in his arms. He opened his eyes in surprise and shouted in a whisper, “What are you doing? Do you want to challenge Yuan Xi? I don’t! I’m staying with you on purpose!”

Yeah, how rare. Normally 125 would be dead!

Luo XiaoLou continued walking up the stairs and said depressingly, “Do you think he’ll pursue you or me first?”

“….Lord will bless you. You may not wake me until you return to Imperial Capital.” 125 said and quickly snorted. It was rare that it didn’t turn into a rock, expressing its loyalty with its body.

The loud roar of the mecha was getting closer and closer, and Luo XiaoLou was standing on the steps of the extremely steep slope being blown by the wind.

Luo XiaoLou looked up, and the huge white mecha floated in front of him.

Then the cockpit of Cloudy Sky was opened and Yuan Xi stared at Luo XiaoLou, who also stared back calmly. They looked at each other. They looked as if they hadn’t been apart. But something must be different, Luo XiaoLou thought silently, since he had opened the seal.

————

“Really, I have no idea what’s going on, or how I came to be here.” Luo XiaoLou watched Yuan Xi’s tense face carefully from the passenger seat of Cloudy Sky.

Yuan Xi stared fiercely ahead without speaking. The two had embraced uncontrollably when they’d first met. But ever since Luo XiaoLou had pointed out that Yuan Xi’s hands seemed to be shaking a bit, he’d looked like he hated him.

Luo XiaoLou cleared his throat and continued to explain, “I’m sure I was being controlled. I didn’t want to come here at all. As you can see, there’s nothing in this hellhole – it’s nothing like the gaudy halls. I’ve been trying to make my way out since I woke up.”

“Controlling you?” Yuan Xi couldn’t help but turn to glare at him and ask.

Luo XiaoLou stared nervously at Yuan Xi’s sudden approach, and when he snapped out of it, he stammered, “Is- is it- am I the only one being controlled? Ah, that must be because I’m so weak. I- I have no idea what’s going on. After all, mecha makers and mecha warriors are not comparable…”

It finally occurred to Yuan Xi that they’d also been blank for a while, waking up already walking down a long hallway. His face darkened and he turned to the screen.

Luo XiaoLou wasn’t sure if Yuan Xi was suspecting something, but he was ready to go all out.

“Are you guys okay?” After a moment, Luo XiaoLou asked in a small voice, concerned and wondering how the others were doing.

“Yeah.” Yuan Xi finally managed to speak, but his tone still wasn’t very good, and the motion of entering commands was so loud it felt like it was tapping Luo XiaoLou’s heart.

“Thank God we’re all alright!” Luo XiaoLou said in surprise. It seemed that Luo ShaoTian and the others were fine. Luo XiaoLou hesitated for a second and added, “Look, this place is weird. We should have left earlier.”

Yuan Xi said icily, “Not only is it weird, there are signs of exotic beast activity here. I now suspect that the exotic beasts are also residing in this place, or there is something the exotic beasts left here.”

Luo XiaoLou stole a glance at Yuan Xi and plucked up the courage to say, “Everyone’s fine, so maybe the exotic beasts aren’t as brutal as you say they are.”

“They attacked us! Not to mention the things they do-” argued Yuan Xi angrily. He suddenly stopped and asked, “What the hell is wrong with you? Did the trip here brainwash you?”

Luo XiaoLou tried to squeeze out a smile, “Yes, yes, so you’ve beaten them away? Hard work.”

Yuan Xi stared at Luo XiaoLou, took a glance at the long staircase outside and said sarcastically, “Not as hard as you.”

Luo XiaoLou coughed, not daring to speak.

Yuan Xi swept another glance at what he held in his arms and asked, “Is this fatty okay?”

Luo XiaoLou felt for a moment that 125 in his arms froze hard as a rock – the gesture was too fake, and he smiled, “It’s okay, I think I forgot to change the Energy Box, but it’s okay now.”

Yuan Xi withdrew his gaze, and both Luo XiaoLou and 125 breathed a sigh of relief.

They quickly exited the passageway and Yuan Xi put away Cloudy Sky.

Everyone was waiting in the hall, and showed signs of relief when they saw the two come out. Luo XiaoLou subconsciously swept his gaze around the room and noticed that everyone looked a bit tired, obviously after a hard battle, and both Qian Heng and Shao Rong were missing.

“We’re going back to the battleship now.” Yuan Xi commanded. Standing here, he always felt a wet and cold malice that made him unable to control the murderous aura in his heart. Luo XiaoLou was right, they should leave here immediately.

Yue Shang nodded, “It’s time to go back. We’ve already got the seal anyway. The trial is complete.”

Luo XiaoLou was stunned and was pulled by Yuan Xi to go outside first. Luo ShaoTian and Yuan Nuo looked at Luo XiaoLou and followed behind Yuan Xi.

They left the huge overhanging island, and behind them, the protective shield slowly rose again outside the overhanging island. The huge island slowly disappeared into the air, as if what they had just experienced was just a dream.

They soon returned to the Poseidon, where Captain Kent was waiting for them with great excitement, “Your Highness, you really did it! You know, Landa’s seal is a phoenix even for those who can reach it, let alone unseal it. What’s more, there weren’t any casualties! It was an amazing trip!”

Yuan Xi frowned, “The trial is finished, but there’s something very wrong with this place. It was too easy to unlock the seal.”

Before he could think deeply, Yue Shang had smiled, “Nevertheless, we did get what’s inside the seal, but what is it?” Saying that, Yue Shang took out a white box.

Abel stood beside Yue Shang, looked at it twice and said, “I can try to open it later.”

Yuan Xi also took white box, looked down at it for a moment and said, “Rest first. We’ll have plenty of time to study this on the way.” At that, he turned to Captain Kent, “Now return to the ship. Also, where is the man Shao Rong brought back?”

Captain Kent froze and said, “Ah, you mean the patient? He seems to have been very ill and was taken back by Locke for care.”

Yue Shang and Shao Rong looked at each other, surprised.

“Locke?” Yue Xi stopped in his tracks, “How do they know each other?”

“Not that I’ve heard that the two know each other, but Locke seems to be very attentive to that patient.”

“Then have Locke come and see me.”

“Mn, I’ve arranged for them to be watched, and both are now in the room-” smiled Captain Kent, as he gave the man in the control room the go-ahead to inform Locke to come over.

A minute later, however, the soldier reported the not-so-good news that the two men were clearly in the room, but Locke wouldn’t pick up the comms. The faces in the hall changed as Yuan Xi took the lead and led the men to Locke’s room. Luo XiaoLou was tired but equally insecure at the thought of Qian Heng being there, so he followed behind Yuan Xi.

When they arrived outside of Locke’s room, someone came up and forced the door open with the door card, but there was no one there.

On the bed was an electronic book with a video paused on it.

Yue Shang’s face was even more ugly than Yuan Xi’s. He took a few steps forward and picked up the electronic book, and clicked on it to start playing.

A full-body portrait of Locke holding Qian Heng appeared in the room and Locke smiled, “Ah, it seems too embarrassing to leave without a greeting. But this beauty is badly injured, and the instruments on the ship don’t seem to be able to treat him, so I couldn’t resist his plea to leave first.”

Leave? How did he leave? There’s a meteorite belt out there…

As if responding to the suspicion, Locke continued with a smile, “I’m sure you’re all wondering how I got away, but I seem to have forgotten to mention that in addition to cybernetics and medicine, I’m also a mecha warrior. I left in a mecha, and it may have seemed to you that a mecha couldn’t cross the Meteorite Belt. But you know the first phoenix to enter the Seal of Landa, His Majesty, Feng JiaLing, he travelled the shortest distance across the belt. Back then, he went straight across the meteorite belt.”

“Phantom will just run right through it, and if he really encounters a meteorite, he’ll break the meteorite and go through it. Of course, none of this method could work except for His Majesty, Feng JiaLing. Perhaps His Majesty, Feng JiaLing himself doesn’t even know that the path he took back then reoccurs every year to this day, at a specific time, where the pathway at the place he crossed is revealed without any hindrance. I figured out the time is today at 12 noon, so I’ll take this beauty back to get medical attention. I know everyone will be as upset seeing him like this as I am.”

Finally, Locke smiled, waved and said, “His Highnesses, Prince and Prince Consort, and everyone, take care.”
