Chapter 45: School Celebration

Translated by Addis of Exiled Rebels Scanlations

Editor: Mimosa

Ming Huan honestly reported the purchase of the planet in ten minutes, without exceeding the time by one second. The first time he got paid 5,000 star coins for repairing a broken handheld weapon, the idea of making money through this method was born.

The big question was how he used the new energy prepared over there to repair the Empire’s first rare hunting fighter and how, in the Capital Star suburbs, he directly fought with the other side. He thought that when Yu Hanzhou asked with a face like this, he would take the blame.

Ming Huan said, while racking his brains to think how to find a remedy.

In the past, every time he did something wrong, Yu Hanzhou’s harsh look was very scary. He showed this attitude, and made Ming Huan seem to recall the time when he was a pup.

Yu Hanzhou saw him stirring his fingers after the report and took a small step back. He coughed lightly and patted the side of the sofa, “Sit here.”

Ming Huan sat honestly by him.

“A few more questions, and the fish soup will be ready.” He rubbed the tips of Ming Huan’s cold fingers, like he was soothing him, “How long has it been since your private terminal added him?”

“Just since the second day of the differentiation Period.”

“Now it’s lifted?”

“It was lifted the day I called.”

Yu Hanzhou roughly estimated the time, “They could have hacked into your information base, but I encrypted all the personal information you have. Now that your dependency relationship with me is dissolved, I can no longer unilaterally protect your information, and require your authorization line. I am not sure about the development of the Empire’s side in recent centuries in researching new technology. In the next few days, do not go out, try to stay at home.”

The little dragon again did not speak. He used to control him like this every time, and he always was very unhappy.

“If you’re bored, I’m going to take you to the military academy, which will be very busy for the school festival. You can have a little fun there, but don’t go out of school.”

“!!!!” Ming Huan licked his lips nervously, “And the explosion….”

“There were no civilian casualties from the explosion outside Capital Star, but there was serious economic damage, and I’ve closed things off with a secret military mission. As for the damage, I’ll use that one fighter to cover it, and the Military Department won’t have a problem with that.”

‘No need to pay for it!’

He was happy.

Ming Huan suddenly straightened and bared his back before he scampered to the kitchen. He grabbed a bowl of sweet fish soup from the AI butler and held it all the way to the table to drink slowly.

Yu Hanzhou was still sitting on the sofa and had just received the data analysis report from the Military Department on the blast type hunting fighter that Ming Huan had grabbed – really an amazingly destructive fighter.

He took a few glances at the data.

It was a high output energy warplane, and fortunately Ming Huan grabbed the first opportunity to catch the Empire’s people before driving them away.

Otherwise it might not have been as simple as a suburban explosion.

It was hard to imagine that in the short two days, he was in a coma, and the little dragon actually faced such a dangerous situation alone. To put it another way, even if he encountered some kind of accident that was still unclear to him now, it triggered such a strong mental energy riot.

In that case, this little dragon still protected himself perfectly.

With the mental energy riot in the case of a precise jump, one should know their own emotional control and sleep enough to recover.

He did not teach him how to use his mental energy, but he was able to cut off the enemy’s position….

He was a very smart kid.

Yu Hanzhou collected the material on the war machine data, and held the black tea. The corners of his mouth unconsciously raised slightly as if he were treasuring a great treasure.

‘Forget it, just spoil him.’

‘But money could not give him the high degree of freedom.’

His wariness was not enough.

The data report packed an encrypted transmission to the Federation’s 1st Military Academy. When Ming Huan woke up, he would have cleaned up that mess of the suburban explosion.

“You should still have ninety-seven million left.” Yu Hanzhou added while holding the hot tea, “Give it back to me. In the western suburbs, the factory lost a lot of money, you don’t have to pay me back, but the responsibility of the explosion can’t be borne.”

‘…. The devil.’

This also counted as a brief attempt to have the taste of money.

The little dragon twisted the money to Yu Hanzhou and looked at the only six-digit deposits left. He felt very spineless and sucked air through his nose.

The pocket money was gone.

Ming Huan’s eyes were suddenly red with grievance, and he drank his fill of fish soup before he went outside to get a watering can to continue watering the small flowers that he planted. He squatted in the yard and stroked the petals that had just grown.

He smelled the flowers as if his mood could become better by doing so.

“The white feathered dragon’s special ability, you should be very clear about it.” Yu Hanzhou pulled open the door of the floor-to-ceiling window and leaned against the door frame as he intended to take this opportunity to give differentiation knowledge to Ming Huan. This was so that he would not have anything else to show others besides how well he can fit with various types of war machines.

“Absolute manipulation. There are thousand-year-old ancient emperors’ genetic type of war machines, mecha, weapons, and even technology-type products. We all have absolute control. The whole four hundred years, in addition to Capital Star, some are necessary to know about the high-level dragons, almost no one knows that I am a white feathered dragon, but Ming Huan, you actually broke the shell more than a year ago, let others catch the small tail.”

Yu Hanzhou’s tone was as easy-going as possible, and he did not want to intimidate him.

the little dragon muttered, “You’re the only one who catches my tail.”

Yu Hanzhou, who had been preaching for a while, was stunned.

He suddenly quietly drank tea and did not speak again to Ming Huan.

When Ming Huan was watering, he accidentally spilled water on the back of his feet, and the cold touch made the round white toes shrink violently.

“My slippers are wet.”

‘…. Dainty.’

Yu Hanzhou let the AI housekeeper bring a towel, and let Ming Huan sit on the wooden bench on the lawn. He took off one of his shoes to wipe his toes clean, and he wiped the slippers clean.

Ming Huan moved his toes and felt dry and comfortable.

When he thought that he was alpha, he had always imagined Ming Huan to be too strong.

When he thought that he was omega, he seemed to think that he was too fragile.

If the entire situation revolving around Ming Huan was clear, things would have been better resolved – the boy, for many things, may have his judgment.

” Most of all, one question.” Yu Hanzhou, still holding his ankle, looked up and locked eyes with him. “What do you think about getting married?”

Ming Huan did not think Yu Hanzhou would suddenly ask him this.

“The match is known.” The little dragon suddenly stood nervously, and both hands tangled together, “He wants to be engaged to me.”

In the face of his nervous eyes, Yu Hanzhou’s eyes held an indefinable light and gradually sank.

Without distinguishing between happiness and anger, he gave a “hmm” and asked again, “You’re very reluctant?”

The effect of the soothing agent was so good. The match degree was not low, definitely not below 60%. This meant that the alpha that matched with him had the right to be engaged for three years.

The little dragon was full of sadness.

That person before him half-squatted, smelling of mixed faint milk-like sweetness, “Ming Huan, this three-year engagement is not so terrible, you only need to live with that person for three years only. For the long life of a dragon, three years is insignificant….”

Yu Hanzhou said yesterday that he was willing to live with him! Why was he pushing him out again?

“But I don’t want to live with someone else.” Ming Huan’s eyes look pitiful at this time, “I’d rather be on my own agricultural planet….”

Yu Hanzhou has already been in such trouble. Ming Huan’s sense of panic was growing. While Yu Hanzhou was in front of him, Ming Huan reached out and held his wrist, “I don’t want to live with an alpha.”

Yu Hanzhou’s tone is a bit stagnant, “…. I am also an alpha.”

Ming Huan, “….”

The grasping hand still hadn’t let go.

“You don’t count.”

“….”

“Yu Hanzhou.” Ming Huan grabbed the corner of his shirt and seemed to observe his attitude as well, “If you don’t want to continue living with me, send me to the agricultural planet. Don’t throw me to others.”

The unexpectedly straightforward words of the little dragon made Yu Hanzhou swallow his entire persuasive words that he could not easily put together.

Yu Hanzhou actually made a mistake for the first time.

Facing the little dragon that he raised, he had a lump in his throat.

“It’s like the day that I completely differentiated.” Ming Huan hugged the water bottle while sitting on the wooden bench. His thin ankle was held by the other party’s hand, “Although the senior is also very good and takes care of me very patiently. The medical aspects are very professional, and he’s also gentle to me….”

The hand holding his ankle tightened slightly as if there was displeasure.

“But, you left me to him.”

Yu Hanzhou’s breath had a faint fever, and the little dragon seemed to be unconscious. This sentence looked like a complaint, but hid an indefinable attachment.

“Differentiating was very difficult. Everything was muddy and painful, and my head was swollen and dizzy, and I had a fever for a while.” Ming Huan originally was fine, but the more he said, the more aggravated he became, “You were not there. The people on the Empire side leaped to the outskirts of Capital Star in a blaster. I beat them away, even if I accidentally blew up the suburb, you can’t blame me, three of them beat me at once, they are too despicable.”

Ming Huan took a deep breath and looked down at Yu Hanzhou like he was making up his mind, trying to forget how he had cursed him a million times in his heart when he returned the $97 million to Yu Hanzhou just ten minutes ago.

He made a promise obediently.

“I will not intentionally give you trouble.”

“I won’t either.”

“Mn.”

He silently put on slippers for the little dragon. While listening to these words, his heart unconsciously softened a lot.

Ming Huan cocked his head and looked down at Yu Hanzhou’s eyes that seemed to have changed a bit.

The deep eyes seem to float with some warmth, “That day, I was actually not busy with Military Department affairs, actually, you and I were….”

“Don’t throw me to that alpha that matched with me. I don’t want to live with someone who could mark me at any time who I don’t like. The money that you are owed, I’ll work part-time to pay you back. Tuition and stuff, when I graduate, I’ll save up to pay you back too. I am very easy to raise, living with me is not a problem.” Ming Huan tightly grasped Yu Hanzhou’s wrist, “Please.”

Yu Hanzhou’s action of putting on his shoes stalled.

He was not able to say the words of explanation as he was speechless.

Yu Hanzhou looked and felt a little annoyed.

He even directly extinguished the terminal.

He then turned his head to look at the terminal. The dean had just sent a long speech: [the school day was a very good public opportunity. Now the little dragon has also differentiated, his mental energy is also considered stable, and there is no need to consider the impact of unstable mental energy during the period of differentiation. You should take the opportunity to quickly clearly explain the matching degree, so that the public can know the news about his differentiation and can continue to live with him, otherwise the technical institute side….]

This time he looked down at the little dragon.

“What do you mean? You want to continue to maintain a [nurturing relationship] with me?”

This was also said more than blatantly.

Ming Huan pecked his head like a little chicken.

***

The same as before his differentiation, Ming Huan was very good at staying at home. Every day, he and Yu Hanzhou spent time together.

Yu Hanzhou took him to check out the new pajamas and new slippers. All the small clothes and pants in the house were folded by the AI housekeeper and put in the deepest part of the storage space.

Ming Huan looked at the closet of new clothes and the new size of the school uniform sent by the military academy.

Finally, he had the feeling of ‘Ah, I’m an adult dragon now.’

Today was the school day.

Ming Huan wanted to participate with Yu Hanzhou. In fact, only two people arrive in batches – after all, in the eyes of most outsiders, he had nothing to do with Yu Hanzhou,. This was because he was an ordinary military academy student who had a small popularity in the school because of his face.

It had been a long time since he went out.

Recently, too many things had happened. Who would have thought that in so much time of a month or so, his dragon life changed radically – he had differentiated into an omega.

Although many omega military academy students would prefer to dress up in more sweet and cute attire, Ming Huan was used to appearing fresh in front of everyone from the previous three years.

Moreover, Yu Hanzhou emphasized to him for the millionth time that the news of his differentiation into an omega must be kept absolutely secret.

Ming Huan also changed his military uniform in accordance with the ordinary alpha attire, and a small belt was tied. The whole dragon was thin and would not lose spirit.

When smiling, he was like a sunny flower.

Yu Hanzhou once again invited Ming Huan to take a more comfortable starship, seemingly not that shy about their close relationship being seen, but Ming Huan refused.

The starship was exclusive to the Military Department, and it was elegant and magnificent.

He also preferred the feeling of flying a small craft by himself.

“Then I’ll go first!”

Ming Huan was obviously excited to go to school after more than a month although he didn’t have many classes going into his senior year. Most of them were private lessons and virtual classes.

Ming Huan remembered when he was first brought back to the Federation by Yu Hanzhou three years ago. The day that Yu Hanzhou took him by the hand and entrusted him, who seemed to be only 12 or 13 years old, directly to the principal of the school, the sun was shining so brightly.

In order for the principal to dispatch resources to keep Ming Huan’s share more detailed and securely looked after, Yu Hanzhou once also funded the school to build a military machinery department – the Military Department building had a confidential level of weapons and warplanes. When Ming Huan enrolled in the period, the 1st Military Academy was free. In fact, Yu Hanzhou treated him quite well.

He agreed to continue to live with himself, and also accompanied his school celebration.

Ming Huan felt very happy.

Yu Hanzhou looked through the window and watched the small flying machine next to him. The boy drove in a cheerful mood as he flew into the sky. All of a sudden, the sky disappeared into a small circle. Yu Hanzhou expressionlessly rattled the papers that had just arrived this morning.

As soon as he got to the school and raised his eyes, the principal and several school board members welcomed him. Yu Hanzhou’s starship landed in the school’s VIP area, where few people usually visit, but because of today’s school festival, the large air square was set up as a performance stage, so the surrounding area was also very lively.

Ming Huan was an outstanding graduating student.

He had always had A+ in all subjects of the graduation list and on appearance, although he did not have many appearances in school, he was popular.

In the past, when he was an alpha, Yu Hanzhou rarely came to school to see him.

The bridge leading to the sky plaza, Ming Huan was accosted by a few students from the same department, and he was able to cope with a few words. Before he took two steps, he met two more people.

On the way, before he stopped walking at least a hundred meters of a section of the corridor bridge, he had been walking for nearly ten minutes.

He paid attention to Yu Hanzhou’s gaze.

The only informed principal said in a gruff voice, “Student Ming is very good, his grades have always been on the list of outstanding students. Several of the school’s strictest teachers have praised him to this day. In three months, he will graduate from school, and he will be an excellent graduate representative of the mecha section. To say to eat hard, ah, there’s no one better than him. He seems to have finished four required mechanical courses and three mecha minors in one year, and many of these courses take three years for kids to be able to take one after another, and there are even those who need to delay graduation to be able to continue taking the test, after all, these are the two courses with the lowest pass rate in our school….”

The principal also blew a rainbow fart for a while.

On the veranda bridge, someone came directly to Ming Huan and gave him a big hug.

Yu Hanzhou’s cold face abruptly stiffened.

His feet began to move.

After he was aware that it was a thin young omega, Yu Hanzhou turned his eyes. The side where the school board was immediately led the way, “The Military Department donation briefing time should be fast.”

He knew that time was precious.

The principal did not dare to delay more time, and he welcomed the high-speed cloud rail elevator before he directly sent people to the floor of the briefing.

From the high-rise buildings, there were floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the lively scene in the sky square.

The Military Department’s instructions would spread out in real time, and the official field underneath had a huge light screen playing the scene.

“I heard that this military academy student surnamed Ming authorized the Military Department on behalf of the donation, for a period of six months of the use of the right to delegate Federation’s 1st Military Academy. The Federation is for the first time searching for the ancient emperor blast type warplane, I don’t know if the Military Department intends to use it for other purposes besides teaching.”

The lieutenant at the end of the table replied, “Of course, the right to use it for half a year, the technical institute will also apply for a research time limit, no, it should be within three days.”

“This warplane model is special, as a military academy student, how can you get it?”

“This involves the Military Department’s secret military mission, it is not convenient to elaborate.”

Yu Hanzhou sat in the VIP conference room next door to the briefing.

He was invited to make a one-minute closing statement at the briefing, and to sit on the sidelines at the end and listen to military representatives selectively answer some of the questions.

The rest of the time, he could sit here and relax.

The briefing was actually designed to make up for the suburban bombing, to put on a show for some of the Military Department’s hardliners, and to muzzle the Military Department’s naysayers with a donation of a warplane.

An alpha needed to complete the omega’s wish as much as possible.

He hoped that his match for the omega would continue to live with him as an adopted son.

‘How could any young omega make such a wish?’

The dryness in his eyes grew stronger.

Yu Hanzhou looked through the floor-to-ceiling windows and overlooked the crowded crowd in the sky plaza.

Finally, the questioning stage had arrived.

This meant that this three-hour long conference finally came to an end – in fact, the principal did not understand why Yu Hanzhou would attend this conference, and even if he came, why did he have to stay here for a whole half day?

Obviously, as long as he spent five minutes here to show his face, it would have the same effect.

He was usually so busy and you would not see a side of the Military Department’s senior power for decades. he was suddenly sitting leisurely in front of them for three or four hours – although separated by a wall, it was also quite a stressful thing.

He politely greeted in advance. Following Yu Hanzou’s gaze, several school board members looked through the floor-to-ceiling windows to the ground.

…. In addition to the staggered corridor bridge and the forest of school buildings, as well as the overlapping aerial plaza, there was nothing to see.

Yu Hanzhou was waiting for someone.

The meeting ended and the sun set in the west. The school celebration also finally reached the closing stage.

Yu Hanzhou looked at the time and sat in the VIP room while waiting for Ming Huan to come to him.

Their appointment time was at six.

it was already 6:03, and Ming Huan had not yet appeared.

Yu Hanzhou lifted the snow-white curtain, and looked at the air square of the corridor bridge where people had dispersed.

His brows were slightly wrinkled, and he asked the officer who had been watching Ming Huan where he was at.

The terminal sent a message.

Yu Hanzhou’s eyebrows lifted abruptly.

‘Bar?!’

His hard military leather shoes on the soft carpet headed straight towards the railed ladder.

The other end

Ming Huan, who had been invited to a private bar box by his fellow students, took another sip of wine. The sweet taste of wine diffused in his mouth, stretching to almost every pore of his body.

‘It had been a long time, hiccup, since I’ve had a drink.’

The omega next to him handed him another glass of wine. His soft voice came as he sat next to him, and his hand was still wearing the bracelet sent by Ming Huan more than a month ago, “You sent me such expensive things, I said I want to buy you dinner.”

“Where did you go for more than a month, you are simply not about Young Master Ming.”

He gave half-angry and half-polite compliments.

Ming Huan received the strong wine from the young omega’s hand and drank, “Alas, nothing. I took an exam.”

“Junior commander exam? The original rumors are true. You passed it? Then congratulations!” The young omega looked very happy, “You look a lot taller, did you recently enter the growth period?”

“….”

Ming Huan pulled the scarf to cover his neck barrier patch, and he vaguely said, “Mn soon, right.”

“Not yet in the growth period, you grew so tall, ah.”

The young omega looked particularly happy, “You’re already so tall. one step of yours is easily two of mine!”

‘Exaggerated, right.’

Ming Huan was obviously very pleased.

“You drink, drink as much as you want. My treat.” The young omega threw a, ‘look at me, I told you that my bracelet was given to me by Young Master Ming,’ look at his little sister group and gave Ming Huan another drink.

“I’m all out with you.” Ming Huan once again met the fragrant soft omega, and his temper was always surprisingly good, “How can I still let you buy, no, this is mine.”

Ming Huan was very generous to say, “Drink what you want.”

Yu Hanzhou just gave me a hundred million.

‘I can buy dozens of bars like this, so what’s the matter with buying a few drinks?’

‘When did Yu Hanzhou give me a hundred million?’

Ming Huan shook his head and actually felt that the cup in his hand was reshaped.

‘Fuck, fuck, fuck. Didn’t have recover everything?’ Ming Huan panicked and looked at the balance and thought that six figures should be enough – ‘What if it’s not enough?’

He opened the terminal and sent a message to Yu Hanzhou.

[Can you lend me money?]

The other side actually replied in seconds.

[Where are you?]

He couldn’t tell the tone of the voice through the screen.

Ming Huan typed: I….

The cheeks were flushed from thinking back to what happened today. He just went out of school and met a few old classmates to catch up with those from the same department. One had a restaurant to drink afternoon tea, and then a lively bar….

‘Oh, at a bar.’

‘?!’

Ming Huan quickly deleted the words.

Yu Hanzhou had dictated today that he did not want him outside of school. Moreover, he hated this bar, this kind place where people cluttered all over the place. He more so did not like him and young omegas being mixed together.

[It’s okay, I won’t borrow, you go back first. I’m in the classroom with the teacher to discuss my academics, later I’ll fly myself home in a small flying machine]

The marker symbol had yet not finished typing when he suddenly felt a cold gaze, and he looked up to the door to Yu Hanzhou’s dark eyes.

He felt scared. His hand shook and sent the message.

YH needs to stop stalling and tell MH about their match.
MH fears being controlled by an Alpha he doesn’t know and ending up a trophy.
He only has a problem with YH when he’s getting told off, but deep down actually finds him kind and considerate. He may decide being matched and staying with YH for another 3 years on a trial basis, is OK.
Pretty dumb going out drinking, given what’s happened; he’s about to fall out with YH again 😬
Thanks for translating and editing.
