What is a phrase you’ve seen in a translation that has you stumped as to what it was actually supposed to be?
Like for me example: a historical setting show that has “memorials” that are sent to an emperor – are they memos? Or like “ghosts” that don’t seem to be dead people are they demons? When demons seem to be spiritual animals ?
Nothing springs to mind. I do get confused by wording sometimes… like I can’t quite make sense of the word order, making it vague to me, so I am not sure what it’s actually saying; or when characters are referred to as both ‘he’ and ‘she’.
