No, it’s not something I’m drawn to; thoughts of disembarking with hundreds (or thousands) of others at out-of-the-way ports and not getting a feel for the destination puts me off.
Alaska does appeal though, if a smaller ship.
A river cruise also appeals (Nile, Danube, Yangtze, Mekong, Ganges). Sadly they are way too expensive for me.
Yes, Alaska and New England/Canada. The Alaska cruise was nice. I would go again but for longer. The New England one was short (3 days) and I would have made it longer if I could. It’s a great way to see a few places in one shot.
