Is there a format for stories that just turns you off completely. ex: everything in google docs.

Addis: Anything on f flying lines, but I also hate g docs as the only way to read as it is too hard to navigate when each chapter is in a dif doc. It also swamps my g docs with a bunch of chapters

Gaeatiamat: If it’s done as a blog entry rather than as a proper story website format.

Caicaicat: I hate when i can’t figure out how to get to the next chapter from the previous one and I have to keep going back to the ToC

g doc, indeed. especially the one that has many chapters in one doc. god knows how i hate it!
i’m not a marathoner. and if the length of one chapter is too long, especially if the story is quite heavy, i need to take a break.
but when i re-open the doc, i lost my path instantly😂

Blogspot ones are quite irritating. Using simplified view directs you and uf you want to read next chapter you have to return to the site and tap again.

Not so far, but then I’ve tended to only use ERs for translated novels. A couple of others I have ventured to are not as reader friendly, but for the right story I’d put up with it. I screen shot so as not to forget my place when using a site like that.
