Do you find novels on Novel Updates being miss tagged upsetting? (I.e. if a novel is shounen-ai (no sex scenes) and it is tagged with yaoi (sex scenes))
Personally, no; however, I do think it’s a problem when content isn’t tagged at all, that some would get upset or triggered over (like rough sex, abuse, rape etc.).
iyyap. there’s this story, tagged smut. but i only got an m scene at the very end of the book. in one paragraph.
i felt… betrayed…

There is one book in this site that I didn’t think was tagged enough. Some being implants itself in a man as a “baby”. The “baby” needs to eat sperm to survive . So the man finds another man to “rape”. This “baby” begging to eat cum made me want to delete this site from all my devices. I tried to read past it thinking it will all resolve itself as misunderstandings. I just couldn’t. And it ruined my day. I was angry that I read something I would never read if I had known.
