nope. depends on the story plots. if the story is good and intrigued me enough, i will still read it.
i remember you translated this book, spring trees and sunset clouds. the shou has damaged face.
yes, at the beginning it bothers me a bit at the graphic. but his damaged face has a reason. and the story is good. i like it.
there are books that have handsome mcs, but lacking in good plots.
good story plots matter. though ngl. handsome characters add cherry on my ice cream 🍧
Nah i just wish the narrator would turn the dial down (not all the way to ugly – tho that would be interesting) to “moderately pretty” instead of keeping it at “so gorgeous i have to describe it every ten seconds, whenever a new person meets mc or whenever a stray wind passes by revealing that milky white skin and waist that everyone even cats and inanimate objects wants to touch” etc. Lol. I get they have a wordcount to meet on jjwxc but come on.
Looks are irrelevant. It’s the story that counts.
I don’t care if the story starts like that, like in My Dragon the ugly dukling becomes a white swan ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Nope, right now I feel like the character of ML and MC is somehow too much exaggerated. People have their own personality as long as the plot is good and writing style is not boring I will keep reading. Plot and written style is more important than the look.
No; the story and how well it’s
written is more important.
Society is too hung up on looks as it is!
Nope. It never really occurs to me that the characters could *actually* be ugly. In my minds eye, it’s always like how we see characters depicted in dramas: the “ugly” or “average” one is still extremely attractive compared to most people irl.
I have came across many books which emphasizes gong/shou beauty too much. It’s rather boring. I mean if the character has depth, who cares about whether they are handsome or beautiful?
I would rather read about their character not their beauty stuff n all. I really overlook those handsome beautiful stuff. But I really love if the character has mole.
