Is there an outdated/debunked/false idea that drives you crazy when it shows up in stories? Example. Psychotherapy and anything to do with those crazy freaks Freud and Jung. Second Example. No matter what French Kings say, APOLLO IS NOT THE SUN GOD, HE’S THE GOD OF MUSIC.

To me the Medical term and analysis or treatment in hospital scenario that out of reality was to most annoying.
Yeeaaah. The misinformation re: medicine and treatments really gets to be as well. I once read a story where the author referred to heatstroke symptoms as epilepsy.
hmm… like… french kissing is the way to say hello in western countries. something like that?
been a long time since i found a manga with a character saying that idea. i’m an asian, and even at that time, i found it ridiculous đ
I was about to say the same thing. Or when “oh, they grew up in the West” is used to excuse advances. It still pops up every now and again. But at least I think the authors are using it a joke.
As other readers have already said, the notion that Western culture is more promiscuous. More things might be acceptable, but we donât all french kiss as a matter of course, or leap into bed on first dates.
As an aside, Apollo to the Greeks was known as a God of many things; archery, music & dance, healing & diseases, sun & light, poetry, truth & prophecy and probably more!
IF I SEE ONE MORE BS PROPAGANDISTIC MISINFORMATION ABOUT HOW CORSETS ARE THE DEVIL AND LITERALLY MADE BY MEN TO STRANGLE WOMEN IMMA KERMIT. THEY WERE NOT UNCOMFORTABLE WHEN TAILORED TO FIT YOUR SIZE AND WERE BASICALLY OLDEN DAY BRAS!!! STFU AND DON’T INCLUDE THEM IN YOUR STORY IF YOU CAN’T BE BOTHERED TO PROPERLY RESEARCH CORSETS AND THEIR HISTORY!!!!
