I can’t express how much Your work means to me. You struggle with problematic readers, chapter steals and so on, yet all of You still provide us with small piece of happiness with each update. I hope You will get as much satisfaction as possible out of it, without any regrets. Thank you for Your hard work, Exiled Rebels! This is my beloved novel, both story and translation makes me gasp in awe. Unforgettable, thus even more precious C:

The main story has ended, oh wow. It feels like yesterday I came to this website to read the first chapter of MDZS. Thank you so much to all of you behind this! Without any of you, we wouldn’t have been gifted an amazing sotry that we could read from. Its really sad once you realize that their story has finally ended, this book has filled me with so much joy, up to the point I would anticipate the following chapter/s week after week. You truly all have been blessings! (And i can’t wait for the extras!) ❤💕

Thank you so much for translating this beautiful story – I was introduced to it through you! Because I was unable to purchase the raws, I purchased both seasons of the audio drama (HIGHLY recommended, it’s so well done!!!) and the Thai version of the physical book as I really want to show my support for MXTX.

Thank you so much for your hard work.. really appreciate.. I’ll waiting for the extra chapters..
Thank you very much MXTX for having created such a wonderful novel. I like the way you interacted with the present and the past. The flashbacks help a lot to understand and appreciate the novel. Wonderful imagination. A gift. It was my 1st Chinese novel and I am very impress by the plot, the characters, and at the end how you were able to link everything and everyone together, the overall story…Sometimes I laughed and other times I almost cried. Rollercoaster of emotions, all in same book. I really enjoyed reading it. It was a real pleasure to read GDC… Read more »

I can’t express my gratitude to you…. To translate such a gem of literature….This is one of my favorite novels: the journey, the characters (ok, i admit i love Lan Zhan to death….:-)), the plot, the world. I wish there could be a second novel full of cases just to solve by these lovely two. But I am looking forward to all these little extras and now i am reading the comic, listen to the audiodrama and waiting for the second part of the donghua…what an epic tale. Thanks to you i can enjoy this! It makes me want to… Read more »

I have always loved books and novels and I’ve read my fair share. MDZS was my first one like this (translated from Chinese, BL content). In the meantime I have started reading others, but MDZS will always be my absolute favourite. Not just in this specific category, but in general. It was so well written (and translated!!), incredibly interesting, scary, dramatic, adventurous and mysterious, with character development and tragedies, betrayal and reconciliation. I can’t part with it and am so glad you guys put in the extra work to translate the extras. Either way, I just know I will re… Read more »

RE: Fantasy Setting – they mentioned the chilis and apples but i’m surprised they didn’t mention the potatoes that Wei Wuxian and the Wen’s planted on burial mound. Potatoes didn’t come to China till the end of the Ming Dynasty and weren’t really eaten by non-colonials until the Qianlong where they were a rare delicacy. Widespread cultivation on mass scale didn’t get off the ground until the 1960-70s.

I love this novel so much! I’m sad that it’s pretty much over now but can’t wait for the extras. ^.^ Thank you so much for releasing this title and sharing where to find her other works!!!! <3<3<3 I had a question for the translators. Do you have an idea of what you'll be picking up next? If not, would it be possible to pick up Feng Yu Jiu Tian after Vol.4 or just start from the beginning? I'm sure you get asked this a lot so if its bothersome just disregard the suggestion. ^^; Again though I love all… Read more »
