Ah we can finally get a sense of how underhanded and overbearing the Wen Sect was.

Though I couldn’t help but chuckle at the part that described LWJ like “his soul had already risen out of his body.” All that self discipline has paid off…I could just picture his blank expression at everything like an enlightened Buddha haha.

Mm, I wonder what’s wrong with LWJ’s leg. Probably Wen clan is at fault. WWX noticed it, so cute :3 Though it’s likely the beginning of another monstrously big flashback >< I love them but what's happening in real time is also very interesting!

Wen Chao is a total asshole. (Btw, you wrote his name as “Wen Chan” at least twice.) It’s nice now to get to see the past more clearly; thank you for the translation!

I wonder how much of Lan Wangji’s “my soul has already left my body” is due to the pain from his leg. Wei Wuxian at least seems to be coping mostly okay, though I now have a bunch of speculation that his happy-go-lucky attitude was formed mostly to better fit in to the Jiang family and not utterly crush Jiang Cheng’s spirit.
