Thank you for translating another chapter so quickly! I’m honestly so hooked on this novel that I can’t get enough (I’m always so excited when a new chapter gets released!) Eugh… the gorey scene was kind of hard to read but those particular wen dogs definitely deserved it. WWX went through hell (almost literally) and with all the heinous crimes the wen clan had committed it was satisfying (in a twisted way) to see it thrown back at them like that. Though to be honest it was interesting and sad to see our usual smiling, happy WWX become so twisfed… Read more »

Oh boy… such nightmare fuel XD If I’m not wrong, in the old version of the novel, wwx went missing for three years then the author edited it to three months. Three months is a really short time for him to be able to learn all those. I hope we’ll get to learn what exactly happened during those three months. Also, reading back chapter 60, I just realized there’s already a clue for why exactly it was so easy for the Wen people to capture him when from the beginning wwx is considered really OP. I want to give LWJ a hug. Though, he really needs to word things better or WWX wouldn’t have thought his intentions to bring him back to Gusu was bad. To see a person who used to be all smiles, a jokester and full of laughter to become dark and cruel will cause a bunch of emotions to spill out and about, especially when that person is someone you have romantic feelings for. Ah, I could only imagine how hard WWX worked to master that book during those 3 months. Having no suibian, its most likely living that moment in episode 5 again and again, worrying everyday how many zombies will come to the cave, or how to get find food/water incognito from the zombie population, prolly getting chased around while reading the book by multiple zombies until he mastered the use of their resentful chi and once theyre calm(controlled), he experimented on how to control them like puppets. I think the ending would be wei wuxian will cross over back to the dead.
I mean he is already deas. And yeah. We got a glimpse of the yiling patriarch during the sunshot campaign. Thinking how much he suffered must be too much.
I mean the other sect like JC. LwJ already suffered but the whole clan allied to go against wei wuxian. It was kind of sad.

Whoa god I never really got the same sense of aversion to the dark arts like the other characters in the present (future?) Part but here you really see how corrupted the dark energy of the burrial grounds made WWX… I wonder if it’s because he was both full of resentful energy and surrounded by it that he became so twisted or if it was the corpses because he doesn’t seem this way in MXY’s body while using the dark arts… And aaahhh poor LWJ!!
