Wwooowww so one of the reasons people wanted to kill him was CUZ he was protecting some innocent people. He really didn’t deserve death. And somehow I feel like the whole shijie death was for a good reason too. Wie Wixian BROTHER IN ARMS even left him CUZ of that revenge he has for wen’s. Jiang Cheng can FUCK himself

Aaaaaah! No! I’m not ready for this D: Having spoiled myself in fan songs I knew it was coming, very likely this chapter, but I still wasn’t ready. I’m not sure I’d say that Wei WuXian has a “hero complex”. He just doesn’t want to continue the injustice towards the remaining Wen members who has done nothing wrong. He is not the type of person to follow the words of someone who does not share his ideals or morals. So this is how the brothers ultimately drifted apart,,thanks i hate it😫. I really like Jiang Cheng but he lets his own insecurities and doubt of his position cloud his judgement and personal feelings with Wei Ying. He’s strong and yet he’s weak. In a way his actions are understandable because he isn’t one to go against the cultivation world after all that’s happened. It’s great how the author doesn’t demonise women but makes them strong and amazing, still showcasing the misogyny in a world like this and taking a stand against it clearly. this is all ridiculous because JGY was just as involved as WQ with what the Wen Sect did. just like WQ, he was instrumental in stopping the war from the inside (her by rescuing WWX/JC and restoring JC’s core). and yet she gets ridiculed and told she deserves death and JGY’s sworn brothers don’t say a single thing to him about how he’s a hypocrite.
