When I watched the drama, I kept secretly hoping that as LWJ and WWX left the ancestral hall, the camera would pan to some hidden spot and we would see a tablet with WWX’s name on it. I wanted to see something redemptive in JC. I still just wanna slap him!

This is when Wei Wuxian brings Lang WangJi to his aunt and uncle to introduce his love to his adoptive parents, along with his intention to make this man his husband. My soft heart was in soft puddles reading this. Then Jiang Cheng walked in and had to f*ck it all up. The man is like a tenacious dog that will not let anything go: anger, resentment, sorrow is a mess within him eating him alive. I feel both sorry for him and angry at him.
