This is not the first time they have used mangarock to hide behind. And it also shows how RUDE they are and how DISRESPECTFUL fans are by uploading our chapter after it was only up for an hour to another site. Passwords begin again with next release. I am seriously disappointed.

I’m really sorry that it happen again. I only hope that your day isn’t ruined by this. I would like to say that this never happen again but be realistic. Unfortunetly there are some people who do everything for… and I’m lost of words. Because, honestly I don’t know why they do something like that. And I don’t understand it. It’s really sad (them doing it and violating rules not me don’t understanding them). There are rules from people who do the hard work – so respect them, becouse they do it and ask only for one small thing.
I know that this is a little strange reply but English isn’t my native language and I’m still better at reading than writing (I think that you don’t have to as why) but I hope that you understand my point.

Mayhaps the password will upgrade to a higher difficulty each time we have to implement it again just because someone decide to ditch their last braincell and ruin it for everyone else. Read and respect the rules please, it’s there for a reason.
I really hate password, but man I understand the frustration especially with that dumb respond. It’s like one person broke the rule and therefore the rule no longer exists..
I also dunno how anyone can use mangago, once scanlation grp I followed do mangago exclusive release and I ended up not reading any of their releases because that site is atrocious. Almost every click leads to ads not to mention low quality image.
I just hope you remove the password when the time is up or after 1-2 days because the last time password was up, I couldn’t solve many of them had to wait until you release next chapter to read older chapter. But password for completed series lasted much longer and I went back to read them when I saw you no longer password lock releases.
A suggestion: You could try forgoing downloads and uploading on Google Docs, where you can disable downloading. Keep the uploads relatively low-res, enough so that it is readable, so that aggregators, if they choose to screenshot to steal, won’t have great quality scans if they resize the files up to put it on their websites. You can continue the use of passwords, but only to unlock the link to that chapter on Google Docs.
Seriously, such a rude and roundabout way to say “fuck you.” They seem to feel pretty okay acting pathetic for money.
Also, to elaborate, this method will just create more work on the aggregator’s part. Readers can still read clearly since there is an option to zoom in. However, because there are no download options, aggregators, if they wish to steal in relatively high quality, would have to zoom in and piece screenshots together to create a full page. That is, if they even care about presentation. Even if they don’t, it could annoy the readers over at the aggregator site just reading half of a full page.
In addition to this, if the ExR team did catch errors in translation, they can easily delete the page on the Google Docs and reupload. The files should appear alphabetically. I feel like there is more control this way.
I’m surprised that the mangago admin responded with such weak and lame excuse! They said that they respect the scanlation groups’ rules, but then this???!!! Regarding the password, honestly, it was a bit hard for me to crack the last one, but I understand your decision. Appreciate your work and dedication all this time. I hope this incident doesn’t upset you so much. Please remember that there are more people who appreciate your work than who do not

I have an Opinion , why don’t you upload manga images directly to the website ( you can upload also images in a image host ) ans use javascript to hide images link for the restrict uploading time in other website .
ps : I love your scanlation , but i’m really disappointed to see others stealing your efforts

Cries I totally understand your decision… Being a reader on Mangago (unfortunately since sites like lehzhin is too expensive for me and I like to wait for english translations of the physical manga copies :/), I tend to avoid your scans on there, and just read them on your website. I once warned the uploaders on mangago about uploading chapters of gdc too early in general and someone tried to be smart with me ._.
But I do use tappytoons more now for web comics now, but I should start using paid and licensed manga websites when I have money I guess 😥
Despite the passwords taking some time to figure out, I know you guys have to protect your hard work from people who don’t listen to the rules!
