“Master. According to your wishes, the ship has been controlled.” An uncomfortable person with disorderly clothes reported. His fingers tugged at the corners of his garment from time to time, obviously not very used to his current attire.

His master was leaning back in a comfortable seat, his white robe in stark contrast to the man who was reporting from the door.

“You can rest assured that everything is under control.” The man at the door customarily gave a military salute.

The man in white frowned, but didn’t say anything. He looked at the person beside him who was drinking red wine, and said with a smile, “Mu Chen, what do you think?”

The man in black uniform beside him was Mu Chen. When he heard the question, he said calmly, “Your Highness, the ship coming out of the Kaiten jump point may be from Grey Galaxy, but it may not be, so the chances of your plan succeeding are 50-50.”

Prince Yu Pei looked at Mu Chen and was about to speak, when a middle-aged man in the room smiled coldly and said, “I believe Your Highness’s idea is brilliant. Even if this ship is not from Grey Galaxy, it is definitely someone from their neighborhood. The Puro jump point that connects to the Kaiten jump point is on the edge of Grey Galaxy. After they hear about events, they probably won’t come over to the Empire easily. Moreover, if this ship came from Grey Galaxy, with the temper of those pirates, they would hate the Empire to the bone.”

“Starting a war is exaggerated, but there will always be revenge, and the revenge of a group of lawless pirates can be more frightening than the regular army. Finally, Your Highness, this action is likely to make our purpose of the trip to Grey Galaxy easier to achieve. The Grey Galaxy’s relations with the Empire have deteriorated. They will probably be happy to accept the olive branch that the Federation hands out.”

Mu Chen gave the middle-aged man a faint look and didn’t speak.

However, Prince Yu Pei’s face was a bit smug. He looked at the soldier at the door, who was pretending to be a pirate, and ordered, “You go down, remember, the news must not leak out.”

The soldier saluted and prepared to leave.

The middle-aged man interrupted again. “Wait, Your Highness. Although your idea is excellent, the means are a bit soft. Since it has been done and you don’t want the news to leak out, why not accomplish two things and blow up that ship?”

Seeing Yu Pei’s surprised expression, the middle-aged man waited a beat, and added, “Of course, because of your kindness, you chose the practice of house arrest. However, for the sake of Federation, for the sake of the majority of people, or rather, for the sake of future stability and peace, we must sometimes choose to sacrifice something. You and Lord Yue Shang both understand this, but you are always unwilling to face it.”

Difficulty and hesitation appeared on Yu Pei’s face, and he lowered his head. He seemed to consider this.

Mu Chen put the wine glass down on the table, and turned around to walk towards the lounge.

Yu Pei gritted his teeth and turned to the middle-aged man and said, “Uncle Jiang, let’s forget it. As long as it’s under control, it should be fine. They should be here in the next day or two.”

The middle-aged man frowned and immediately said, “Your Highness, you are out on a mission this time. Wait two days? There are many variables, and this is a dangerous area. In case there is a situation…Again, why do you care about that kid’s opinion?”

“I personally feel that you, Lord Yue Shang, and Miss Su Lan are the ones who are really thinking about the Federation. As for him, he is just seeking wealth and power–“

“Stop it, Uncle Jiang.” Yu Pei’s face changed a few times before he finally said, “How about this, we wait for a day. If the Federation’s army doesn’t come over, you can see what you can do.”

The middle-aged man could only sigh when he saw Yu Pu’s resolute attitude. His Highness used to attach great importance to his opinion, but since the arrival of that person called Mu Chen, His Highness has been extremely concerned about him.

This was not necessarily a good thing. That boy could not be worthy of a King’s son. The middle-aged man clenched his fist, and a trace of gloom swept through his eyes.

Before the middle-aged man could leave, the soldier who had just run out rushed back in, his face a little panicked, and said, “Colonel Jiang, it’s not good. Two mecha came from the direction of the Yakon Fortress. It’s certain that they are coming for us.”

The middle-aged man’s face changed, and he immediately asked, “Are they here to rescue the ship?”

The soldier had a bit of an odd look on his face, and quickly replied, “No, not like that. They are coming towards our warship.”

The middle-aged man’s face was really ugly this time. The hijacked ship was small, and their mission was vitally important. Could it have been leaked? How was this possible?

Within a few steps, he rushed to the cockpit. The middle-aged man looked at the two mecha outside, getting closer and closer, took a deep breath, “Try to contact them. Let them leave quickly. If that doesn’t work, make sure you leave them here.”

Soon, the communications soldier looked at him. “Sorry, Colonel. Those two mecha are not paying any attention to us. They just continue to approach.”

A hint of ruthlessness flashed in the middle-aged man’s eyes. “Quickly, inform Doka and…Mu Chen to go and take care of those two, and do it quickly.”

Once again his hatred of Mu Chen came out. Still, Mu Chen was considered the top mecha warrior on this ship, and now was not the time for righteousness.

Yu Pei also rushed over and looked outside. His face changed. “It’s Yuan Nuo! The other mecha I haven’t seen, but…since Yuan Nuo is here, if he finds anything, he will definitely inform Yuan Xi. We really can’t stay here for long.” He had seen Yuan Nuo fly that mecha during his time as mecha builder Abel.

“Either we let Doka and Mu Chen capture these two as hostages, or kill them. Otherwise, we’ll have to leave quickly, and when the Imperial Army arrives, we’ll be in trouble.” The middle-aged man interjected. Though the people on that civilian ship could be used as hostages, if Yuan Nuo and the others saw them coming, it would be of no use, and would instead make the Federation less popular.

Because he wanted to hide his name, Mu Chen was instructed to use a mecha that would not reveal his identity. Then he and the other mecha fighter flew over to meet the two mechas.

At this time, Yuan Nuo’s eyelids were twitching wildly. After they came over, he and Luo XiaoLou soon realized that the hijacked ship was completely controlled by the kidnappers, so the two of them had little chance of success in going up to rescue the people. If they were discovered by those people, the hostages might be in danger.

Luo XiaoLou immediately decided, after he discovered that the bandits came from another hidden warship, to fire directly at that warship and drag it out until Yuan Xi and the others came over.

This idea really worked, and Yuan Nuo had absolutely no intention of being afraid, but he was worried about Luo XiaoLou. That guy’s speed was good, but his piloting skills were really a bit inadequate.

Although he kept yelling at Luo XiaoLou to go back first, Luo XiaoLou didn’t listen, as if determined to be the main character in the lone hero film. Then two mecha faced the warship. Whether Luo XiaoLou wanted to go or not, they had to leave.

Yuan Nuo looked at the location map sent over by Yuan Xi. They would arrive there in about five minutes.

Yuan Nuo gritted his teeth. He had to neutralize his opponent within five minutes, so he could go help Luo XiaoLou.

The two mecha quickly arrived in front of them and then separated, so each blocked them.

Luo XiaoLou took a deep breath. His hand on the console clenched, then began to rapidly input a series of commands. This was the first time he had ever piloted a mecha in a battle. The mecha competition was completely different. This was a true battle of life and death, accompanied by extreme danger, but was also the best refinement for mecha warriors.

“You…don’t be nervous.” 125 suddenly said.

Luo XiaoLou’s mouth quivered, “I’m not. I even fought against Yuan Xi. Wait, you wouldn’t be nervous, right?”

“How could I be? I’ve been involved in battles that you have no way of imagining, moreover, I’ve already leveled up. Even at your level of driving, it won’t be a problem at all!”

The black mecha that was on the front side of the room soundlessly came over. 125, under the control of Luo XiaoLou, swept out in a hundred and eighty degrees left turn. Luo XiaoLou’s heart had a burst of excitement. Although he had a period of time without training, his mecha driving skills obviously didn’t regress much. Moreover, as his fingers touched the console, the passion buried in his heart also rose up again.

However, before his mood could calm down, the black mecha also moved slightly, and actually approached Luo XiaoLou’s mecha again, faster than Luo XiaoLou. He looked at that route choice. There was hardly any extra movement.

“What a horrible micro-manipulation…” Luo XiaoLou’s mind turned, a finger moved, the energy blade on 125’s arm quickly slashed out, just in time to meet the light blade of the black mecha, and then used the force to deftly turn it outward.

125 ‘eeked,’ then fell into silence once again.

Luo XiaoLou had no time to worry about that as he stared intently at the screen. The enemy in front of him was putting a lot of pressure on him. Not as much as a mecha fighter of Yuan Xi’s caliber, but much stronger than any opponent he had encountered in the past.

After he pulled away, 125’s shoulder particle guns began to strafe.

Luo XiaoLou was most skilled at long-range attacks, and after 125’s special training, even an expert wouldn’t dare to take it lightly. The black mecha was apparently also somewhat scared. It’s feet moved, and it began to frequently switch direction. Yuan Nuo saw this situation and his heart was suddenly relieved. It seemed that the bull head mecha was not completely useless in this situation, so he began to focus on dealing with Doka, in front of him.

Two minutes later, the mecha finally found a chance to get close to Luo XiaoLou again, and swept over with a huge lightsaber. Even though Luo XiaoLou quickly gave the command, 125 was still cut in the left arm. And, before he could dodge, another slash came.

Luo XiaoLou was shocked. He didn’t feel the impact, but the loud ringing sound was like 125 had been chopped to pieces.

“You’re hurt?” Luo XiaoLou asked anxiously as 125 made another seeping, rattling sound.

“Of course not.” 125 replied easily. It even whistled. “On the contrary, the force with which this person slashed me was very small, simply too small to cause damage.”

“Huh?”

“Mn, this is completely unreasonable. If he isn’t an idiot, it can only mean that the guy is acting. Mn hum, how can I possibly act worse than him?”

Luo XiaoLou froze. The mecha in front of him had no killing intent?

At the same time, the corners of Mu Chen’s mouth, inside the opposite mecha, also twitched. That loud noise, how on earth did he make it?

Next to them, Yuan Nuo and Doka also battled hard, although not as loudly as on this side, but with a variety of energy beams that gave the same thrill. At that moment, a large number of mecha suddenly appeared in the distance.

Inside the cockpit of the battleship, Yu Pei looked outside with a sullen face and quickly said, “Have Mu Chen and Doka come back and retreat.”

The middle-aged man didn’t object any more. After all, they had more important things to do. If they succeeded in allying with the Grey Galaxy, then even if the Empire was strong, the Federation would increase its chances of winning by a few points.

The mecha who fought with Yuan Nuo and Luo XiaoLou both quickly retreated inside the warship. At the same time, the people of the civilian ship also drew back, since the civilian ship was in flames.

Yuan Xi led the crowd to rush over, a team of mecha warriors headed towards the escaping warship to chase it, while more people flew towards the civilian ship that was on fire and started to rescue people.

Luo XiaoLou’s hand had just touched the keyboard, when a cold voice suddenly came through his communication channel, “You’d better stay there.”

Luo XiaoLou’s hand shook and stopped again. So he just anxiously looked at the direction of the spaceship.

A few seconds later, the mecha fighters that went in, started to fly out.

Fortunately, before the spaceship exploded, everyone was saved.

Then, a military warship also arrived, and those who were rescued were put on the warship.

Luo XiaoLou dutifully flew up under the instruction of the white mecha. He had just jumped down from the mecha when he saw Yuan Xi was standing at the side with a sullen face.

Yuan Xi cleverly blocked the view of others as Luo XiaoLou appeared, so no one saw His Highness, the Prince Consort emerge from that dark blue mecha. Yuan Nuo blocked the view behind Luo XiaoLou as he murmured, “Brother, I think I need an explanation.”

Yuan Xi glared at the giggling Luo XiaoLou, then glanced at the dark blue mecha with the bull’s head.

125 shivered. It didn’t come out to meet people, just directly transformed back to the space button.

Luo XiaoLou was planning to say a few soft words to ease the atmosphere, when a not too tall figure flew into his arms. Ivan shuddered and shouted, “You came as slow as death!”

Seeing Ivan, Luo XiaoLou sighed in relief and patted him. “Don’t be afraid. It’s already okay.”

At this time, someone else came in from outside and reported to Yuan Xi, “Your Highness, they didn’t catch them. They went into the Kaiten jump point, they should be heading to the Grey Galaxy.”

Ivan, who was in Luo XiaoLou’s arms, jerked his head up and said viciously, “I’m not afraid. I secretly took a video. I’ll send it to Arthur later, so he can help me take revenge!”

Luo XiaoLou looked at Ivan in surprise, then held back his laughter and said seriously, “You’re too bold. Next time don’t do such a thing, in case you’re found out. Even if you’re a kid, it’s still dangerous.”

Ivan shivered as he stubbornly muttered, “I, I’m not afraid of them!”

Tens of thousands of star miles away, inside the Grey Galaxy, in a large conference room, a man sneered, “Daring to rob our pirate’s people. They really don’t want to live.”

Is Mu Chen a spy for the Empire or did he really change sides, since he mentioned once that he wasn’t really fond of the Empire because of his family reasons? Hmmmm… let’s hope he survives. I’m glad they’ve saved Ivan and gave Arthur a heads up about a possible provocation. Let’s see who’ll face the pirates now.

Thank you for the chapter!!!

As he didn’t want to harm LXL, I hope Mu Chen’s a spy.
Thank goodness Ivan is ok & they saved the others on the ship.
Who is the man in the conf. room; Arthur?
I assume their plot was ruined, as the Empire saved the hostages, so they can’t be blamed; that was the Federation’s plan?
Thanks for translating and editing.
