Q: What is a tradition that you see equivalents of (not exact but close) in a lot of cultures?

Funerals and births.
The former happens all over the world, in every culture, even if the rituals may differ.
Birth is celebrated, although some cultures don’t celebrate it after (no birthdays, as it’s seen as aging/getting closer to death).
