Where you live, what is a tradition you absolutely hate?

Men inheriting their deceased brothers wives (widows). Maybe this made sense in the past, though I can’t tell for sure. But what I have seen up to now, makes me terribly sad for every woman that is on the receiving end of this treatment by her inlaws after the death of her husband.
