in an interstellar setting, quite frequently the food is bad and people have to rely on nutrition gel/drinks/etc. What do you think it smells like in an interstellar novel home if it never smells like good food in the kitchen?

pitiful interstellar kids.. ššššš hopefully they will find some portal to get back to past so they can eat proper food..
oh, back to the topic.. I dunno what smells they food like, but hopefully it smells like fried chicken or chocolate or citrus or roses or maybe.. not worse than a milk..
We would miss our good food, but if we never knew it, we would simply accept the nutrition we have.
Smells in an interstellar home… I imagine they would be fabricated, like our air fresheners and chosen by the home owner. They would be based on the pleasant smells from their environment… whatever plants abd flowers etc they had. That’s how I imagine it āŗ
I figure it will smell very sterile. Sad, never to know the comfort of coming home to the smell of a holiday dinnerš or the taste of homemade desserts.
probably smells like raw collagen gel or artificial smell.
you know about that famous magical girl curry from japan, right. looks pretty, taste bad, but still smells of curry. something like that.
