when you read or watch a horror genre, many times the enjoyment is the mystery that is unveiling itself through the story. Do you enjoy it as much on a reread even though you know what is coming?

I don’t read or watch horror genre. I figure real life is scary enough. I prefer fantasy and love. I’m a true escapist at heart❤️
I like finding the things I may have miss the first time around.
Plus, I don’t have to be a detective on the second pass. I can just enjoy the story without trying to figure out the mystery before any of the characters do lol.
It depends how good the book was.
I have read Bram Stoker’s Dracula many times and still love it. Same with Anne Rice’s Interview With The Vampire, which I read when it was first published, many years ago. It never gets boring or old.
