One
Lin Mo was dead, he had died in the last zombie tide of the end of the world.
Lin Mo was alive. He became a sick and weak young man in Daling Village, Mulin County, a ger. The body owner’s appearance and name were the same as Lin Mo’s, even the two brothers were similar to his brothers.
If it wasn’t for the different times, Lin Mo would have thought his family had survived. Lin Mo was very weak now. He couldn’t blow or bask in the sun. He needed to drink medicine every day. Besides, he had to endure the pain from his body.
In fact, Lin Mo could have completely used the spiritual water in the space to transform the body, but because of the experience from the end of the world, Lin Mo had some conflicts with the space. Lin Mo was lying on the chair under the shade of the tree in the yard, feeling the cool wind blowing. The conversation in the village from time to time made him sleepy.
The ever-changing cough woke up Lin Mo, who was about to fall asleep, and the slightly closed eyes opened a little more. To calm the suffocation in his chest, Lin Mo laid down again and closed his eyes. This kind of life was very good, there was no need to drink any spring water to change the physique, and live as long as you could.
Anyway, the days were stolen.
Two
The thought of Lin Mo’s passing and living the days peacefully lasted only five days, and was shattered by the news that the boar on the mountain had pierced his Eldest Brother’s belly. Because of his health, Lin Mo was the only one who got up the latest. He was attracted by the noise outside when he came out of the house that day.
God seemed to be giving him a lesson as he did not value his life now. It was Lin Da Ge who was brought in covered in blood. His looks and stature were almost the same as Lin Mo’s former brother.
It could be imagined that when Lin Mo saw this picture, he felt a great impact. Lin Mo, who was shocked to vomit out blood, could not distinguish reality from illusion at the last moment before waking up.
Is this a dream? A peaceful dream that lasted only five days?
Three
After waking up, Lin Mo seemed to be a different person from the previous attitude towards Lin family. He even began to learn to take care of his niece and nephew in order to reduce the burden on the family.
There were eleven people in the Lin family. In addition to his parents, Lin Mo has two elder brothers, one elder sister and a pair of twin brothers. The elder brother was already married and had a pair of twins.
The biggest expense in the family was the cost of SecondBrother Lin’s study and Lin Mo’s medicine money. Although it was not too tight, it was hard to avoid further expenses now because of Eldest Brother’s injury.
Lin Mo began to drink spiritual water to recuperate himself and his family every day, took care of his three-year-old nephew and niece, and began to take over the cooking work at home.
After Lin Mo’s health improved, brother Lin’s hopeless leg also started slowly recovering.
Looking at their faces showing more and more smiles, Lin Mo’s weak beating in his chest had an illusion of slowly increasing.
Lin Mo looked at them fixedly. The stagnant water in his eyes seems to be billowing. It seemed that it was good to come back to the world
Four
Daling village was flooded with fruit trees. Lin Mo sat behind the scenes to guide the Lin family to make fruit wine and open a small shop in the town.
After that, the more fruit wine was sold, the more popular it got, until it started being sold to a big restaurant, and a wine shop was opened at home. But Second Brother Lin’s scientific examination result also didn’t let them disappoint, and he took first place in the examination.
Lin family packed up and went to the Imperial City. Lin father and mother didn’t insist on living in Daling village.
Eldest Brother opened a tavern and the Second Brother was an official in the court. Although the current Emperor of the state was not the Ming Emperor who ruled by benevolence, he was not a fatuous and incompetent one.
There were two older brothers in the family, one was rich and the other was entitled. Lin Mo was very satisfied with this kind of life.
As for Lin’s mother always persuading him to find a pleasant man to get married to, Lin Mo’s Second Brother Lin supported his position in the court and had no intention of getting married.
Lin Mo thought, one or two years later, when Elder Brother Lin’s position in the dark was more stable, he could leave home to visit other places, and then end this life.
Besides the Lin family, Lin Mo didn’t care about other things or people in his heart, but he was not the Lin Mo of this world, and there would be no sense to stay after he had no regrets.
It was too tiring to live. The stability and happiness of life in recent years were enough.
Five
Before Lin Mo started to prepare for his departure, the calm atmosphere in Shangjing was stirred up by a woman. At first, Lin Mo didn’t care about it, but when it came to Second Brother Lin, Lin Mo realized later that the ‘girl from the gossips’ was weird.
When Lin Mo inquired more, he found that the establishment of the Prime Minister’s legitimate daughter was similar to that of the Empress Dowager. As for this crossing woman, Lin Mo would say nothing if she had been put in normal time, but unfortunately, the woman’s reach extended to Second Brother Lin.
The state of Second Brother had changed. If the former Second Brother was cold and noble, the Second Brother had completely become a man who was in love and was worried about gain and loss. For Lin Mo, it was like falling into a shrine.
This was the last thing Lin Mo was willing to accept. First of all, it disgusted him not to say that the woman swam among many men. The pride and uneasiness in the eyes of the woman was not suitable for Second Brother.
As mysterious as the plot of the novel, Second Brother had been influenced by the woman’s aura.
Seeing things develop in a more serious direction, Lin Mo finally went to find the woman who had transmigrated.
However, people who have read the novels about women who came to open the harem in ancient times all knew that this kind of women owners either lingered by hurting one of them or have a clear mind to whore with all kinds of beautiful men.
And this crossing woman took up both roles.
In the end, the result was expected by Lin Mo, but what he didn’t know was that the development behind the incident would turn to another direction.
Six
He didn’t know when the Lin family was targeted by some people. First, the accidents happened in the Lin family restaurant, and then Second Brother was tripped by people in the court.
The situation in Shangjing had also changed dramatically.
Later, the Lin family fell into a conspiracy which was declared treason, and the whole family went to jail. At the end of the day, the Lin family only had Second Brother Lin and Lin Mo.
The development of all this shocked Lin Mo who went into a trance. He could not tell whether it was a fantasy or a reality.
If it was a reality, his life was so hard. He had died once, but still got a chance to live again. But his life had been so hard, he ended up being the reason his second family had died again
If it was a dream, why couldn’t it have a good ending?
Before he died, Lin Mo went to see the woman for the last time.
For the first time, Lin Mo’s hands were full of scarlet liquid. As he closed his eyes, Lin Mo told Eldest Brother the biggest secret of his life.
This life was not his, the family was not his, neither were the Lin parents or the Lin brothers.
What he could do in the end was only to solve the problem of those who caused the destruction of the Lin family, including himself. At the end of his life, Lin Mo’s own shackles doubled. He always felt that it was all because of him, just like in his previous life.
Death could not atone for his sins, but it was the best relief for him.
And that’s the end! Thank you all for reading this until the last sentence. The author left a lot of things unsaid, but I think it could create a lively discussion of what YOU think the author wanted to convey between the lines. Waiting to see your theories. 😀

Thank you very much for translating this story! It’s been an enjoyable and entertaining read – characters you can empathize with, a world that (though not too detailed) feels three-dimensional and a nice touch of mystery.
Of course, there’re some loose ends – in some ways the novel almost feels like a draft, or to be more exact, like an embryo novel with good potential. I think the story would benefit from being longer and more fleshed out, but even as it is, it’s interesting enough to read. Maybe the author just didn’t want to create an epic 700+ chapters long.
Thx for the translation 🥰..really like the novel but it end so quickly n felt not complete..I am dying to know that did Momo n Cheng yan had babies or not..
Thank U so much for all the work that goes with RL translation.. 😍
hanging with a lot of holes & rushed plot CY & Momo’s part is still an enjoyable read..

I can’t believe this book ended.. This was a great novel that the first thing I used to do after waking up was to read the update, it saddens me that I can do it anymore..
The story was great and characters were all relatable although the climax seemed a little bit too rushed.
Anyway, THANK FOR TRANSLATING!
Thank you for sharing this novel with us!
Thank you so much for all your hard work, ExR! I liked the characters and their development. It’s the only reason I kept reading until the end. As for the plot, I’m a bit disappointed. It ended rather abruptly. I can understand not wanting to drag out the story for too many chapters. And, I don’t mind the loose ends so much. But, I feel many scenes were omitted, like the confrontation with the Minister’s daughter, Prince Jing, the Prime Minister, and the others was washed over with a few sentences. There’s no real closure to those conflicts. Anyway, regardless, I’m grateful to you guys for sharing! 💕
Thank you for your wonderful translation and hard work.
Ahhhh…I feel so bad about it…im so into it not realizing that this chapter is the ending…I will miss MOMO and Cheng Yan…I wanna cry..i feel so sad for MOMOs sad ending but admired him for being so strong and selfless…all he did was for his family…though in my heart maybe the transmigration is a blessing to settle things out/save his family..because thats his heart truly desire…
Thank you for this wonderful novel.
Thank you for translating it..kudos to the translator and all people behind EXR…
And i wanna say also i feel it happen so fast got a feeling some are omitted…hope the author will continue to write the story of momo and cheng…
Thank you very much for translating this novel. This was one wild ride, we had transmigrators, rebirthers, amnesiacs, retrospections, m-pregs, both rural and court lives, possible cultivators, systems and even mentioned interstellar era. I agree with everyone who say that this feels unfinished or rushed and that it had potential to be longer. Many things were omited just by mentioning how this or that issue ended or by time skips like in the extras (the twins extra was super cute, but I didn’t like the last chapter, way too sad!). It’s like the end is open for us to insert our own ending, whatever it may be. As for me, I hate tragic ends or bad ends so I always hope for the ‘happily everafter’ ending. 🙂
Thanks~☆
Thanks
Ah shit. Why it turn dark agaaiiiiiinnnnn
I caaannnn’t *crying*
*Throw another Chen yang in this parallel world*
And thank you for the translation. It’s been an interesting and nice journey 😀
Thanks for the chapter! 😊😍
This is so… depressing. (╯︵╰,)
Thank you for the completed novel. This novel is short!! Some part is giving me some incomplete story, and kind of rush to the end. But i still LOVE IT!!
Once again thank you! 😘😘😘
thank for translate ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for the amazing translations, ExR team! Even though I feel like being left to hang on some rather steep cliffs, it was still an amazing read.
tnx for translating this!!!~ aaAAHH WHAT A GREAT READ ;>
I really like this novel; or rough draft is more correct. The author created lots of great, lovable characters and has a ton of great ideas. Some things, in my opinion, need to be developed or tossed. Zero One, for example, is an adorable Pinocchio but why is he in this story? He doesn’t seem to have accomplished any great mission. Chuck him. Why is the colossal blue dragon in Lin Mo’s space? What does he do for them? More please! And that old monk who keeps appearing and disappearing and gave Cheng Yan the dragon pendant: more please! Where are the babies? This wasn’t m-preg at all! And finally: DUMP the last extra on Lin Mo’s sad life without Cheng Yan. It’s too depressing and unnecessary!
Have the guts to cut!
Thanks for translating! I really enjoyed this novel <3
Thank you for the translation 😍😍 nice plot and the story is enjoyable..just hope there will be more details explanation and its perfect
Re-reading the story..thank you Translator san for your hard work..love u guys much😍
I loved YanMo’s relationship and interactions. It really should have just stuck with them.
The author tried to throw far too many things in and didn’t explain anything. They didn’t seem to understand it them self. I don’t mind having a novel make me think, but I do mind if I’m expected to write massive chunks of it myself 🤣
Maybe if I had a group of people who were reading along with me, it would have been more enjoyable to discuss the plot holes (at least it would be funny).
YanMo were so adorable, they deserved a proper plot. The Ya & Nan were so cute too. The characters were engaging and really kept me reading on.
Thanks for ExR’s hard work & I thank you for introducing me to YanMo (despite my complaining 🤣) ❤️
Thank you for your hard work.
