Editor: Sulo is throwing hearts at Luo ShaoTian! (ෆ’∀’ෆ)
Even as Luo XiaoLou was on the stretcher, he kept insisting that his mecha be collected first because 125, the no-good guy, was already screaming in his ear to not leave it behind. The people around him had no choice but to let him toss around and retrieve his mecha first while still having all the blood on him. Luo XiaoLou was then carried out after a brief examination.
During this time, Luo XiaoLou realized that Yuan Xi was watching him from afar, but he didn’t dare to raise his eyes.
The man who examined him saw that even Yuan Xi didn’t leave, so he smiled at Yuan Xi and said, “It’s nothing. Compared to the others who competed against you, this injury is considered minor.”
Luo XiaoLou’s head broke out in a cold sweat. How much heavier were the other injuries then? The virtual web didn’t show the reality of how brutal Yuan Xi’s battles were! In fact, if Yuan Xi hadn’t been so lenient on the virtual net, he would have been equally as relaxed.
Luo XiaoLou was relieved when he was carried out of the lounge by the paramedics and no longer had to see Yuan Xi. He seemed to have lost too much blood, and passed out.
Luo XiaoLou and 125’s hard work, fearful concealment, and plans for how to quit without moving a muscle, all ended prematurely because of the injury.
When he woke up again, Luo XiaoLou looked at the white ceiling and the distinctive round light, unable to get back to his senses for a while. This wasn’t where he lived. This whole place was unfamiliar and there was no familiar Yuan Xi either.
There was a familiar kind of feeling when they were together, it was almost like breathing air that you wouldn’t notice it at all; but when they weren’t together, this feeling would become more pronounced instead.
Speaking of Yuan Xi, wait! Luo XiaoLou thought that he should go back before Yuan Xi returned to their room, and pretend that he had stayed in there all morning, waiting for him to return. At that thought, Luo XiaoLou immediately struggled to get up, and when he did, he realized that he was weak and sore, and thirsty.
“You’d better not move yet.” A voice said coldly.
Hearing this unusually familiar voice, Luo XiaoLou mechanically turned his head, and indeed saw Luo ShaoTian with his feet up, half lying on that not-so-large chair, with his dark eyes staring at him.
Luo XiaoLou felt like a frog being stalked by a snake, and didn’t know how to react. Why did Luo ShaoTian appear here? Hadn’t he appeared a little too often recently? Besides, as things stood, they didn’t even know each other, did they? What was even more tragic was that he couldn’t open his mouth to speak to Luo ShaoTian yet.
Luo ShaoTian looked at him for a moment, found that Luo XiaoLou had no intention of speaking, and asked, “How are you?”
Luo XiaoLou nodded his head.
Luo ShaoTian looked deeply at Luo XiaoLou and didn’t explain why he was here, just turned around and handed over a glass of water from a nearby table.
Luo XiaoLou hesitated for a second, but in the end didn’t resist the thirst for water, and took the glass and drank it.
Luo XiaoLou then looked down and checked himself. His clothes had been changed, and no wounds could be seen on his body, it should have all been treated. There was only a faint pain all over his body, especially on his left shoulder. This kind of wound would require a trip to the hospital if one wanted to recover soon, but Luo XiaoLou glanced at the time and immediately decided to return to his place of residence first.
When he got off the bed and found Luo ShaoTian questioningly staring at him, Luo XiaoLou gestured awkwardly and told Luo ShaoTian that he was now fine and was leaving.
Luo ShaoTian stood up as well. Peering down at Luo XiaoLou who was half a head shorter than him, he didn’t say a word and just followed behind him with his arms folded. It was obvious that he couldn’t understand Luo XiaoLou’s meaning, but was ready to leave with him.
What did Luo ShaoTian want? Luo XiaoLou surmised, ignoring the silver-haired guy behind him and speeding up his pace, as his desire to leave on his own was ignored.
Luo ShaoTian didn’t cause Luo XiaoLou any trouble along the way, and even helped Luo XiaoLou several times when he got weak in the knees, until he entered the clubhouse. Luo XiaoLou kept glancing sideways at Luo ShaoTian, since he now needed to find a place to change his clothes and remove his disguise.
Luo ShaoTian ignored him and they went up another floor together before Luo ShaoTian stopped, nodded at him and said, “I’m almost at my room, I’ll leave first.”
Luo XiaoLou was relieved. It wasn’t far from where he and Yuan Xi lived. Hastily finding a secluded spot, he removed his disguise and changed his clothes. Then, Luo XiaoLou made his way to his and Yuan Xi’s room as briskly as he could on his feet.
Luo XiaoLou envisioned the possibility that Yuan Xi might be in the room, but he really hadn’t imagined that he would end up facing so many people.
Yuan Xi, Yuan Nuo, Su Lan, and even Rod, who had been previously defeated by Shao, were there, plus two men in dark clothes who stood upright behind Yuan Xi. What shocked Luo XiaoLou even more was that there were large stains of blood on Yuan Xi’s body, which looked even more serious than he, the original patient.
Luo XiaoLou didn’t have time to think about the current situation in detail, only looking at Yuan Xi with a pale face while shakily asking, “What happened?”
When Luo XiaoLou opened the door, everyone in the room stopped talking. Su Lan, Yuan Nuo and Rod even stood up,virtually blocking Luo XiaoLou.
Yuan Xi stared blankly at Luo XiaoLou the moment he stepped in, his eyes filled with silent anger, coldness and unfamiliarity, as if they had just met.
Looking at the dazzling dark red blood, Luo XiaoLou felt a sudden wave of nausea. He didn’t pay any attention to the others as he entered the room and walked over to Yuan Xi, saying, “What’s going on? You’re injured! Why didn’t you go see a doctor first?”
Yuan Nuo looked at Luo XiaoLou, his brow furrowed, and moved out of the way. But Su Lan and Rod were still in front of him.
Yuan Xi suddenly said, “Let him come over.”
Rod hesitantly sized up Luo XiaoLou twice and then moved aside. Luo XiaoLou was even more confused than Rod. This guy appeared here for no reason and stared at him with a guarded gaze. Did something happen while he was away?
Su Lan still stared at Luo XiaoLou with a bad expression. Luo XiaoLou ignored it since he was already used to the hostility of the woman who had a crush on Yuan Xi, but this was the first time it had been so obvious.
Yuan Xi waved his hand at Su Lan and told her to let Luo XiaoLou over. Then without answering Luo XiaoLou’s previous question, he instead asked, “Where have you been?”
Luo XiaoLou was shocked, and even 125 trembled on Luo XiaoLou’s chest, before he whispered, “Me? I just went for a walk around.”
Wait, this wasn’t the time to judge him, was it? Luo XiaoLou raised his voice again as he focused his worried attention on the blood on Yuan Xi’s body. There was literally so much blood that it could kill him, so why was he still standing there like it was nothing? “What’s wrong with you?”
Yuan Xi was silent for a few seconds, looked into Luo XiaoLou’s eyes and said, “When I came back, two people attacked me.”
Luo XiaoLou shuddered. An assassination? Yuan Xi definitely didn’t come back alone, but he was still injured! How powerful were the people who came to assassinate him?
“Are you badly hurt? Jesus, why don’t you go to the doctor instead of just standing here — is this a meeting?” Luo XiaoLou said as he stepped forward to unbutton Yuan Xi’s shirt. If it was a simple matter of stopping the bleeding, he could bring out a portable medicine kit from the inside.
Yuan Nuo and Rod stared at Luo XiaoLou. How could dare he be so calm when Yuan Xi was releasing cold air all over his body?
Yuan Xi pressed down on Luo XiaoLou’s hand, shook his head and said, “This small injury is not a problem. Yue Shang helped me block most of the attacks, but he was badly injured and is now in the hospital.”
Although it was a bit unkind, Luo XiaoLou really wasn’t too worried anymore. So Yue Shang was injured, no wonder he wasn’t around. As soon as the tension subsided, Luo XiaoLou’s head started to feel dizzy again, and his shoulder ached vaguely.
Hardly anyone had spoken since Luo XiaoLou had come in, and now Yuan Xi suddenly said, “That’s it. Rod, you accompany Su Lan to the hospital to guard Yue Shang. Yuan Nuo, go and contact home.”
Yuan Nuo nodded, while Rod bowed his head in a respectful manner and followed Yuan Nuo out.
Su Lan glared hard at Luo XiaoLou and then strode out. However, as she did, she walked very close to Luo XiaoLou and deliberately bumped into his left shoulder. Luo XiaoLou subconsciously flinched, but he misjudged his physical condition and then almost fell over.
As soon as he was about to collide with Yuan Xi, Yuan Xi suddenly lifted his hand and tugged Luo XiaoLou, pulling him onto the sofa.
Su Lan’s footsteps stiffened before she quickly walked out.
Luo XiaoLou’s heart moved. Something was not right today. Even if Yuan Xi encountered an assassination, why was he so cold to him? And the behavior of Yuan Nuo, Rod and the others when he just entered the door, was… was his exotic beast identity discovered? That’s unlikely. Or did Yuan Xi know he had also participated in the mecha contest?
Thinking like this, Luo XiaoLou realized with hindsight that Yuan Xi was unusually cold today, and couldn’t help but quietly sit down somewhere away from Yuan Xi.
Yuan Xi’s face was still cold, and he said to the two men in dark clothes behind him, “You guys leave as well.”
The two men looked at each other, both a little hesitant, before one of them said, “Young master, I think we should stay—”
Yuan Xi’s face was gloomy and the air around him was so cold that it could literally freeze. His eyes were filled with terrible anger as he spoke out and interrupted the loyal subordinate, “No, leave this room.”
The two didn’t say anything else and quietly left the room, even closing the door behind them in passing.
Luo XiaoLou suddenly began to miss the time when everyone was still in here just now. Even though he didn’t like the way some people looked at him, at least he didn’t have to bear the wrath of Yuan Xi alone.
With him still secretly committing crimes, it would really kill him.
Yuan Xi stared coldly at Luo XiaoLou from the couch, and when Luo XiaoLou thought he was going to get angry, Yuan Xi got up and headed into the bedroom. Despite being scared, Luo XiaoLou followed him inside, taking out the medicine kit first to find that handy therapy device. Holding back his guilty conscience, he leaned in front of Yuan Xi.
Although Yuan Xi said the wound was minor and insisted on not going to the hospital, Luo XiaoLou’s eyes were horrified by the sight of the deep, open wound.
The warm therapeutic light was repeatedly applied to the wound, and it didn’t take long before the marks on Yuan Xi’s body were not seen any longer. However, judging from the depth of the wound, Luo XiaoLou felt that Yuan Xi should still be in pain. In any case, Yuan Xi wouldn’t be so ungodly as to have no pain nerves.
Luo XiaoLou’s own wounds were now crying out in rebellion, not to mention the deep, bony wound on his shoulder.Just as it was finally all treated, Luo XiaoLou’s cold sweat began to break out again, and he got up to put the healing device away.
Yuan Xi’s gaze went around Luo XiaoLou’s body. Yuan Xi didn’t have his shirt on and he even casually took off his pants and spoke as he walked to the bathroom, “Come over here and rub my back.”
Luo XiaoLou had been ready to jump into the bed, but now he could only make his way to the bathroom in frustration.
The warm water wrapped around his skin, comforting and relieving him. Luo XiaoLou was too lazy to move after rubbing Yuan Xi’s back, and he had wanted to soak for a while before going to bed. But he ended up directly falling asleep on Yuan Xi’s back as he became dizzy.
When his breathing was regular and steady, Yuan Xi moved Luo XiaoLou from behind him to his front.
Luo XiaoLou rightfully found a comfortable position to snuggle into on his own as he was moved by Yuan Xi, and the coldness in Yuan Xi’s face slowly disappeared as he watched the person lying against him.
He stared at Luo XiaoLou for a long time, then dragged him over closer and rested his head on Luo XiaoLou’s left shoulder.
Luo XiaoLou only felt something hot and moist and flexible sliding over where his left shoulder was wounded, and although it didn’t hurt, it was still a little ticklish so he couldn’t help but shiver. Then, the strange touch on his shoulder disappeared.
“Don’t you have anything to say to me?” Luo XiaoLou heard someone say in his ear in the faintest of voices.
I was just shivering this whole chapter! I really do not like that Su Lan girl!
Thanks for the chapter! ^^
Просто Интересно Очень!!
secret exposed huh…poor LXL..going to face non stop domestic violence from now on😅😅😅😅
😰😰😰😰😰
Yuan Xi knew. He’s terrible how come he still asked LXL to massage him when his shoulders were injured.
Just tell him, you’re busted already. Communication in these light novels HMPH!
Still.. general mc military uniform dude involved in the assassination attempt? Or someone else? Why was Luo ShaoTian guarding LXL? More questions, no answers.
Oh well. *waits patiently for next chapter*
Oh my.. what will you answer him XiaoLou?
Can’t wait for the next chapter 🤧 It’s gonna get real crazy 🤧
SO many questions and no answers, for now. I don’t know which poor idiot decided to attack Yuan Xi, and why, it’s more than certain that he/they(?) will pay the price.
Boys please talk!
Thank you for the chapter!!!
ShaoTian, he is definitely a favourite of mine. On that note, I am also convinced that he knows about LXL. They met once in the shower changing room and then were in the same challenge once. They didn’t even interact, so I struggle to see why the aloof ShaoTian would watch over/help 521 if he does not know.
Thank you for the chapter.
Tense. Very tense.
An assassination attempt and LXL not being back in their room didn’t help.
Thanks for translating.
Yuan Xi is smart enough to know that Luo Xiaolou is behaving like an injured person. Based on the end, he is probably worried, but also hurt that Luo Xiaolou does not trust him enough to mention his shoulder injury!
I love whenever Luo Shaotian shows up! He cares about LXL a lot more than he wants to admit. ☺
Busted!
