Yue Shang stopped in his tracks and stared at the group of people that were coming out of the opposite battleship. In fact, his eyes only fell on Yuan Xi. Behind him, Su Lan’s face was flushed with excitement. Yue Shang was much calmer than Su Lan, but his eyes were also a little red.

Yuan Xi might or might not have noticed, but he didn’t even look in the direction of the Federation.

Luo XiaoLou grabbed tightly onto Yuan Xi’s arm. He definitely didn’t want to embarrass himself, but he was too nervous. When he stepped out of the hatch, Luo XiaoLou felt a faint pressure. It was the press of Spiritual Power, which meant that there was a Spiritual Power master on this mothership.

Luo XiaoLou quickly swept a glance at Yue Shang and the others, and then focused his gaze on  the second level civilization’s people who came to greet both sides.

Soon, Luo XiaoLou realized that although these people were dressed strangely, they were otherwise basically the same as Imperial humans. However their hair color was a rare gray color. Though the color appeared slightly dull, their features were all perfect, and in a group they looked very spiritual.

They were wearing silver and gray uniforms, which fit very close to the body. The waist was tied with a belt and an insignia of the same color. It appeared similar to a display of family emblem items. On the side waist, the end gently hung to the knee, a very obvious body strip.

Luo XiaoLou couldn’t tell the age of these people, but their features appeared very young.

When he saw the arrival of the Empire and Federation delegations, the person standing at the front came forward. He moved languidly and, although there was no expression, there was a pride in his eyes that was hard to ignore.

The white uniform of Yuan Xi was undoubtedly the most stunning one there. Even the eyes of the second level civilization people who came to greet them fell on Yuan Xi. There was definitely a hint of appreciation in their gazes.

The gray-haired young man in the lead began. “Are you Prince Yuan Xi of the An Empire, and His Excellency, Yue Shang of the Federation?”

Yuan Xi nodded and said briefly, “I am.”

Yue Shang, in turn, smiled. “Hello. I understand that your ambassador is from the oldest, and most honored, Ley family of the Teles Empire, I heard about it from Duke Moga.” He was in a pleasant mood. Now that he and Yuan Xi had been mentioned side by side, Luo XiaoLou could only stand behind Yuan Xi. He was looking forward to the situation that would soon follow…

The gray-haired young man glanced at Yue Shang. The corners of his mouth curved, and he showed the first smile. Then he nodded and said, “Please everyone. Our Lord Pu Weier is waiting for your presence.” He made a gesture of invitation, and led them inside the first passage.

The other guards were spread out on both sides of the Federation and the Empire’s people, as they moved silently.

Yuan Xi pulled Luo XiaoLou to his side and let him walk on the inside, all while he gave Luo XiaoLou’s hand a firm squeeze.

Luo XiaoLou returned the grip. His eyes narrowed gently because of this secret smile, and although the invisible pressure was still there, the fear in his heart diminished a bit.

Yue Shang’s words made it clear that the Federation, and the secondary civilization of Teles were close. The people of the Ley family were much more polite but not more warm towards him, or at least a point less proud of their godliness.

Although it wasn’t not obvious, it could be said that the Federation people had a pleasing reception. Luo XiaoLou turned his head to look at Yuan Xi, who had an indifferent arrogant look. Behind Yuan Xi, the Empire’s army silently and expressionlessly followed.

Luo XiaoLou suddenly felt a spurt of pride in his heart. In critical moments, Yuan Xi was always dependable.

The mothership was obviously huge, and more technologically advanced than the Empire’s warships. They were led to a large door. In front was another group of guards. The color of these guards’ clothes was still silvery gray, but the belt around their waist was changed to green, much more delicate in comparison to those gray belts, and their hair color was no longer a simple gray, but brown, black, green and all kinds of colors.

The man who led them there saluted deeply to one of the youths, and then said a word they couldn’t understand. The man turned his head to look their way, then turned and knocked respectfully on the door.

A button at the door emitted a light green light, and the door opened.

Inside, two people were sitting on a couch, surrounded by the four similar guards, except the belts around their waists were purple.

When the group was about to enter, the youth who knocked on the door suddenly reached out and stopped them. He pointed at Yuan Xi and Yue Shang and said in a slightly hard tone, “The two of them may go in. The others wait here.”

Yuan Xi stopped, looked directly inside, and said rightfully, “Everywhere I can set foot in, my wife can come as well.”

The guard at the door was a little surprised and frowned slightly, but the middle-aged man who sat at the very top inside slowly stood up. A smile appeared on his serious face. “Of course, His Royal Highness the Prince Consort is also our honored guest.”

Yuan Xi then led Luo XiaoLou into the room, while Yue Shang walked next to him with a somewhat unnatural smile on his face.

The middle-aged man said, “Welcome all of you. I am Pwyll of the Eli family, greeting you on behalf of the secondary civilization, the Teles Empire.”

After that, the young woman next to him also stood up. She was dressed in moon white. The belt around her waist was even more elaborate and adorned with many precious stones. She looked with interest at the three people who came in, and finally her eyes settled on Yuan Xi. Her green eyes began to glow as she extended her hand to Yuan Xi. “Hello, I am Yafir of the Rhys family. Duke Moga is my brother. I am ninety-eight years old and will soon come of age. Nice to meet you.”

The smile on Yue Shang’s face finally failed to hold up. The Rhys family was his contact, and this idiot actually showed goodwill to Yuan Xi.

Yuan Xi was silent for two seconds, then reached out to hold the young woman’s hand as he said elegantly and politely, “It is a pleasure to meet this beautiful lady.” His manners could not be faulted, except for the speed with which he drew his hand back.

Luo XiaoLou looked at her with wide eyes and sighed in his heart. God, ninety-eight years old. Old enough to be Yuan Xi’s grandmother. Maybe he should procure some maintenance products from this secondary civilization to study.

Yafir pursed the corners of her lips and said, “You have come a long way, and worked hard. We will leave right away. You can go back to your rooms and rest first. In three days, we will arrive at Orrstar, the capital city of Teles.”

Yuan Xi escorted Luo XiaoLou to their room. The young woman was very interested in talking to Yuan Xi, but when she saw that Yuan Xi really had no intention of speaking, she could only turn around and look at Yue Shang.

Two other people entered the room with Yuan Xi and Luo XiaoLou. There was Rod and another cold-faced young man in charge, Xia Zuo. He was also one of Yuan Xi’s right-hand men, but that person rarely appeared in front of the crowd.

Rod said, “Your Highness, I think we should first try to find out about these cosmic civilizations and the related legal regulations.”

Yuan Xi nodded and pulled Luo XiaoLou to sit down on the sofa. He looked up at Xia Zuo, who narrowed his eyes and said, “They are all physically strong, at least the ordinary guards aren’t much worse than Rod.”

Rod shouted in dissatisfaction, “Why compare them to me?”

Xia Zuo said coldly, “As you know, there is no way they can compare to me. If they are all at my level, I think the only ones who can come back safely are probably the two highnesses.”

Rod glanced at Yuan Xi. It was a bit daring to speak like this in front of his master, but this guy was really annoying.

Luo XiaoLou, on the other hand, had a sudden realization. “No wonder their clothes are so snug, it’s because of the focus on training physical strength.”

The other three tacitly glanced at each other, It has nothing to do with clothes…

“But it’s not just physical strength.” Luo XiaoLou quickly added. “There are Spiritual Powers, very strong ones, among them. So strong that they can use it to fight.” That statement wasn’t an exaggeration. Even Master Yan could use Spiritual Power to fight, but such people in the Empire were, after all, a minority.

Yuan Xi and the others’ faces became even more grave. Yuan Xi finally said, “Find out the relevant information as soon as possible, and try their hands if you have the chance.”

After the two people left, Yuan Xi looked at Luo XiaoLou and said, “You don’t have to worry. I will protect you. Also, I’m not interested in that old woman.”

Luo XiaoLou blinked. “I didn’t think much about it.”

Yuan Xi stared at Luo XiaoLou for a while, then looked twice at the ring on Luo XiaoLou’s finger, and finally said, “There are quite a lot of old men here, so don’t give me a reason to talk to anyone.”

Luo XiaoLou dripped sweat. “Why? Aren’t they not as good as you?”

Yuan Xi’s face looked a little better, and he began to contact the Empire with his communication device.

Luo XiaoLou fell in love with the unbelievably comfortable-looking king-size bed, but before he could walk over, there was a knock at the door. Although Yuan Xi was closer, obviously a prince couldn’t be expected to open the door.

Luo XiaoLou looked, and outside was a gray-haired attendant. He opened the door. The attendant had a tray in his hand and said, “Hello, I’ve come to deliver dinner.”

Luo XiaoLou thanked him and took the food. It looked very rich, although the vegetables weren’t quite recognizable.

The gray-haired attendant smiled and said, “When you are finished with your meal, you can put the tray over here and the robot will come to collect it.” He pointed to the counter to the side of the entrance.

Luo XiaoLou nodded, then asked, curious, “Do you all learn languages so quickly?”

The gray-haired attendant paused, then shook his head. “No. After your arrival, our AI had better information and then improved the translation system. In fact, you heard my words after the translation,” he said, and pointed to the button on his collar.

Luo XiaoLou nodded in awe, resisted the idea of inquiring about his age, and turned to enter the room.

Yuan Xi, who had ended his communication, sat down, then frowned and surveyed the fancy food. Finally, he picked at the meat and began to eat it.

125 excitedly wandered around the room. Luo XiaoLou followed the dark green figure for a few seconds with worried eyes, very concerned about his collecting fetish.

They weren’t accustomed to the taste of the meal, but the drink afterwards was unexpectedly good, with a light sweetness that was exactly what Yuan Xi liked.

After the meal, Luo XiaoLou put the dinner plates away and headed out.

He put the tray in the place designated by the attendant. He was about to turn back when he found that the young woman had actually walked out of the opposite door, which happened to be Yue Shang’s room.

Luo XiaoLou thought of Yue Shang’s first words. It was definitely true that Federation and the Rhys family seemed to have some relationship.

The young woman stopped and looked at Luo XiaoLou twice. Suddenly, she said in a strange tone, “He is so strong, and you are so weak.”

Luo XiaoLou shrugged his shoulders. “We’re a couple. Not rivals.”

The young lady grunted, showed him a condescending and proud expression, then walked past Luo XiaoLou and left.

At that moment, Yuan Xi also walked to the door. The young woman had disappeared into the shadows, but just then, the opposite door opened. Yue Shang looked out at Yuan Xi and called out, “Brother Yuan Xi.”

Yuan Xi pulled Luo XiaoLou back and said coldly, “Sir Yue Shang. You should address me by my name.”

Yue Shang paled and looked deeply at him. Yuan Xi turned around and found Luo XiaoLou was still looking in the direction the woman had left. So, he reached out and carried him back inside with a not-so-good look on his face.

“What are you staring at?” Luo XiaoLou actually forgot that he had a husband!

“I…I found that clan emblem on her belt very peculiar,” Luo XiaoLou said with a frown. It was strange. A maple leaf shaped clan emblem, exactly the same as the necklace around Yuan Che’s neck.

Yuan Xi froze for a moment, then said, “From now on, you leave my side less often.”

Luo XiaoLou looked at Yuan Xi. He planned to talk about this with Yuan Xi at night. Of course, before that, he had to convince Yuan Che that he wasn’t used to hiding things from Yuan Xi, and that it felt simply awful.

As Luo XiaoLou headed for the bathroom, 125, who was busy in the room, took a moment to look at him twice and suddenly asked, “Where’s your dagger?”

Luo XiaoLou was startled. His hand went to his waist, and found the bag with the dagger was empty.

Luo XiaoLou’s expression was ugly. If he lost other things, it wouldn’t matter, but not the dagger. That was Yuan Xi’s gift to him.

Who would take his dagger? Yue Shang or the woman named Yafir?

Oh, so Mr. Beauty actually has an inside information about the new civilisation. Bleh, he’s still a cannon fodder and I hope the new guys will see it sooner rather than later. Hmmm… XiaoLuo’s dagger is gone? If someone dies by it in the next chapter this will be a certain trap.
Thank you for the chapter!!!

Maybe the purpose of this invite is to try and create discord between YX & LXL.
LXL has to tell YX about his dagger disappearing, not hide the fact whilst trying to figure out what happened, by himself. There might be an attempt to use it against him.
There might even be power struggles within the Teles Empire & if an opponent is murdered with LXL’s dagger, blame be placed on him.
Thank you for translating and editing.
