“We only have three days. There is no room for retreat. We must catch Luo XiaoLou and execute him. Otherwise, if the agreement between the Federation and the Exotic Beast Institute, together with the previous events are exposed, we will become the target of everyone. Even the people of the Federation will hate us. If Luo XiaoLou is still alive at that time, and the exotic beasts and the Empire join hands, the Federation won’t have any way to survive.” Yue Shang said indifferently. He sat in the highest seat in the conference room. Although his expression didn’t reveal anything, at such a time he could really feel the headache. For the first time he also felt doubt and despair about the future, and victory in the hands of the Council.

The agreement back then wasn’t something he was involved in, nor was it something he could change now, but the consequences of it, however, needed to be borne by him since he’d become the head of the Federation. He didn’t even want to think about whether what his father did back then was really the right thing to do.

He hadn’t expected Yuan Xi to start investigating what happened back then so quickly, or to obtain that agreement. The attitude of the Exotic Beast Institute was starting to get weird, but fortunately, the Institute was still on a united front with them when it came to the matter of the exotic beasts.

All the council members bowed their heads. Those politicians who were usually eloquent seemed to have suddenly discovered that silence was golden, as they took the trouble of hanging their heads to think.

It was a young councilor, who had just come up recently, who said, “I think there is another possibility. Since the prince of the Empire has now been hypnotized, and is controlled by the people of the Otherworld, he might be able to kill that Prince Consort within these three days. He has already placed a hunting order, hasn’t he?”

Su Lan also nodded. “When the time comes, we can use those two newly introduced technologies from the secondary civilization to negotiate terms with the Empire. The Empire, having completely offended the exotic beasts, will most likely join forces with us.” This was the best ending. Although they now had the backing of a secondary civilization, Telles, not to fall out with Yuan Xi, would be the best thing. As long as Yuan Xi left Luo XiaoLou, then there was still a high possibility that the Empire and Federation would restore their relationship.

For Su Lan’s words, the field was a cold field. Su Lan wasn’t thinking clearly. Others understood that the introduction of advanced technology was absolutely good, but one was mining technology, and the conditions attached to this technology was that everything mined was sold to Telles at a twenty percent discount. Even if there was money to earn, it was also a disguised loss. The other was a production technology, and while production increased by several times, it also came with several times higher pollution. It was hard to say whether this was a good thing or a bad thing.

A middle-aged man in black who was seated very close to Su Lan saw this awkward quiet scene, stood up, turned to Yue Shang and said, “Your Excellency, don’t worry, we have already sent people to pursue that exotic beast Prince Consort with all our might, and I believe Mr. Jui Yuan will not let it go. “

Yue Shang frowned, but finally nodded and began to deal with other issues, all internal Federation matters. The conference room finally had a voice, the members of the House also quietly sighed in relief.

No one paid attention to that side. The middle-aged man and Su Lan looked at each other, and the two nodded gently to each other. Even if Luo XiaoLou escaped their hands, Yuan Xi and Jui Yuan, wasn‘t there still a secondary civilization behind it? Yue Shang had been helpless since the return from the secondary civilization. The relationship between the two sides was far less equal than before.

In this incomprehension and helplessness, they, his subordinates, could only help him try.

A stream of light crossed the night sky, and then a green and white mecha appeared not far from the two-three-zero orbit. Inside it was none other than Luo XiaoLou, who was missed by many people, and Luo ShaoTian, who took him to escape.

Luo XiaoLou sat in the passenger seat of the mecha, heavily preoccupied. Luo ShaoTian was driving the green and white Tier 7 bio-mecha, not the Tier 9 mecha he had just been given, but it was still extremely fast with Luo ShaoTian’s superb driving skills.

Luo XiaoLou once again looked at the screen in front of Luo ShaoTian. There was nothing but stars in the distance.

Luo ShaoTian watched at the screen while he drove. After a while he made a reassuring sound. “There’s no need to be so nervous.”

Luo XiaoLou froze, then tried to smile. “You’re right. We’ll definitely be safe.” He didn’t want Luo ShaoTian, who was younger than him, to think that he was useless, since it involved the image of being an older brother, and the fact that he could also drive a mecha to fight.

125 immediately echoed the encouragement in his heart. He was unconditionally supportive of his master, but the bottom was slightly lacking. He felt that something was wrong, but he couldn’t figure out what was wrong. He could only test their surroundings over and over again.

Luo ShaoTian angled his head to look at the falsely calm Luo XiaoLou. The corners of his mouth moved, but he didn’t say anything, just quickly turned his head back so that Luo XiaoLou wouldn’t notice the change in his eyes.

Luo XiaoLou once again looked at the screen in front of him. All the directions were normal. His hand subconsciously touched the communication device on his wrist as he thought of the unreachable Yuan Xi, and his brow wrinkled slightly.

Then Luo XiaoLou’s hand touched his chest. He didn’t know why, but there seemed to be an important thing located there that was slowly decreasing. The feeling was very strange. There was no reason, but there was a real sense. The most depressing thing for him was that he couldn’t get rid of that feeling.

Luo XiaoLou sighed. Yuan Power from within the mecha extended out in all directions. His detection range wasn’t as large as 125’s range, it was only about a thousand meters, but because of the mutation of his Source of Consciousness, the effect was better than 125’s.

Luo XiaoLou relaxed and looked at the faint shadows on the side of the mecha. The silence of the universe made them seem more and more alone as they fled.

After all the tension, Luo XiaoLou finally felt a burst of exhaustion.

Luo ShaoTian’s voice came right at that moment. “You sleep for a while. I’ll call you when we get to the next base.”

Luo XiaoLou agreed and slowly closed his eyes. The moment he closed his eyes, his Yuan Power swept over the faint shadow once again as it retracted.

The next second, Luo XiaoLou opened his eyes in surprise. His pale face looked at the mecha pilot, Luo ShaoTian, then he quickly closed his eyes again, and made sure to look like he’d immediately fallen asleep, but his hand in his lap trembled slightly.

He finally found something wrong. The shadow. Mecha out in the universe couldn’t have that kind of shadow. It was invisible to the optical scanning system and the holographic scanning system, but under his spiritual power scan, it was vaguely visible.

A faint light did exist at their location, but it was also impossible for such a shadow to appear in a single direction. The light in the universe didn’t originate from one direction, so even if a shadow existed, there wouldn’t be just one.

Luo XiaoLou took a breath, once again released his Yuan Power and probed towards the shadow on the mecha’s side.

That shadow’s body shape and posture were exactly the same as Luo ShaoTian’s mecha, and even its speed remained synchronized.

It wasn’t until five minutes later, when Luo ShaoTian’s mecha changed direction at high speed, that the shadow revealed itself.

Luo XiaoLou could clearly see that the speed of the shadow hadn’t slowed down in the slightest, but the trajectory it took was slightly different from Luo ShaoTian’s mecha.

If he hadn’t been watching, he wouldn’t have been able to see this tiny difference.

Luo XiaoLou’s heart thumped. The difference just now had shown that the shadow wasn’t a true shadow of Luo ShaoTian’s mecha. It was likely that another mecha was hiding to track them.

Luo XiaoLou’s closed eyes didn’t open, but his eyelashes moved and moved. He wanted to sit up, but stifled the action again.

At that time, Luo ShaoTian began to input commands. After getting into the two-three-zero orbit, he could input commands to reach the designated planet. Luo ShaoTian lowered his eyes, and the red in his eyes grew.

Suddenly, his left hand felt heavy. Luo ShaoTian lowered his head, and found a hand was pulling his sleeve. Luo ShaoTian looked puzzled. His left hand was tugged down by Luo XiaoLou, then there was an itch in his palm. He found that Luo XiaoLou was holding onto his hand while he wrote on his palm.

Luo ShaoTian narrowed his eyes and quickly saw the words, Someone is following us outside. Later you should put me out and we each drive mecha away to distract him.

Luo ShaoTian knew that Luo XiaoLou had always thought that those people were coming for him, and he was obviously saying this with the intention of distracting the enemy himself and not dragging him along.

Luo ShaoTian’s head swayed slightly, the red in the pupils diminished a bit. He quickly reached into the back and also wrote two words on Luo XiaoLou’s palm, Don’t move.

Then, Luo ShaoTian deleted the destination command he just entered, and quickly entered another destination with a slide of his finger.

Then, while Luo XiaoLou was still trying to reach out, Luo ShaoTian pressed a button, and a transparent baffle rose between the driver’s seat and the passenger seat, and the two were completely separated.

Luo XiaoLou was shocked. He didn’t understand what was going on. As the baffle rose, Luo ShaoTian’s head slowly hung down, as if he was too tired, and fell asleep. But as a mecha warrior with S-rank genes, this was impossible.

Luo XiaoLou’s hands were busy for a while, then he calmed down. First, he used his Yuan Power to check Luo ShaoTian’s body condition, and didn’t find any problems.

But 125 whispered in his ear. In his detection system, Luo ShaoTian’s presence was getting lower and lower, and almost on the verge of disappearing, which was eerily similar to the shadow mecha outside that he couldn’t detect at all.

“I feel very wrong. You…what are your plans now?” 125 showed a rare panic. He was supposed to protect Luo XiaoLou. He couldn’t let him have an accident. Last time his brother, Maxim, secretly contacted him, he said 125 must protect Luo XiaoLou. As an exotic beast, Luo XiaoLou was very important. The main goal of his presence was to provide a good solution to the problem.

Luo XiaoLou couldn’t worry about fear. He glanced sideways at Luo ShaoTian a few times, as his face sank, then he began to check the passenger seat which was isolated in this small space. He didn’t install the isolation plate in the original design, so it should be that Luo ShaoTian found a mecha maker to add it. Within a short time, Luo XiaoLou found the button to open the hatch, but not the button to open the isolation panel.

In other words, it was now impossible for him to reach Luo ShaoTian, but he could leave the mecha.

“Something is definitely wrong. I think, Luo ShaoTian must be in trouble.” Luo XiaoLou’s finger moved. The bulkhead to his side rattled lightly, and a small control panel popped out.

This mecha was designed by Luo XiaoLou, and in many ways, he knew more about this Tier 7 bio-mecha than Luo ShaoTian did.

Inside this mecha, unlike ordinary mecha, he had set up a passenger seat assisted piloting system. However, when he gave it to Luo ShaoTian, he purposely didn’t mention it. For a super genius like Luo ShaoTian, he wouldn’t have paid attention to it, and with his personality, he probably wouldn’t like the idea of letting others assist in operations.

Luo XiaoLou called up the control panel, and then frowned. The instructions set by Luo ShaoTian were unmodifiable. In any case, their end point was the M5 administrative planet. It was also clear from the screen that Luo ShaoTian had set a previous destination, an unoccupied asteroid near there. However, it was indeed more dangerous to reach the asteroid with someone following at your side once you knew about it.

After he thought about it, Luo XiaoLou began to observe the shadow mecha again.

Luo XiaoLou was ready to defend himself, but then the mecha reverted back to its shadow form, and followed Luo ShaoTian’s mecha trajectory as usual.

Five hours later, the M5 administrative planet appeared in front of them.

Luo XiaoLou looked at the blue planet on the screen and his face became even more grave. For the last five hours, he had been in a state of mental tension, focused on the shadow mecha on one side.

Having reached the M5 administrative planet didn’t relieve him. This wasn’t the end of the danger. On the contrary, after reaching the M5 planet, Luo ShaoTian’s mecha would stop. If Luo ShaoTian was still not awake by then, he would have to operate the mecha.

With the countdown on the screen, Luo XiaoLou’s heart moved. At that very moment, his wrist suddenly vibrated.

Luo XiaoLou froze, then looked at his communication device incredulously, he’d received a message. Luo XiaoLou didn’t expect that at such a moment, the communication device would return to normal.

He glanced at the screen, there were still two minutes left. Luo XiaoLou raised his wrist and quickly clicked on the message. After so long, he really wanted to contact Yuan Xi.

The message was opened, but Luo XiaoLou found that the person who sent the message was Luo ShaoTian, with a simple sentence, [After arriving at M5, leave immediately. I’ll stay. We are both in danger.

Luo ShaoTian was not awake yet. This message was obviously sent after he set it up earlier. And it was not sent before now because he obviously didn’t want him to worry.

If Luo ShaoTian was awake now, he wouldn’t mind driving the 125 away, but with Luo ShaoTian in this state, how could he leave Luo ShaoTian to go by himself?

Luo XiaoLou took another look at the remaining time, and after a slight hesitation, he connected to Yuan Xi’s communication device. At first there was no one on the other end. Not until the countdown was ten seconds away, and Luo XiaoLou was ready to disconnect, did the other side finally pick up.

“Where are you?” The communication device paused, then came Yuan Xi’s straightforward question. Luo XiaoLou couldn’t hear any emotion in his voice.

Luo XiaoLou was surprised and immediately said, “I’m on planet M5. Yuan Xi, listen to me–“

“Stay there. I’ll send someone to pick you up right away.” Yuan Xi interrupted Luo XiaoLou then disconnected.

Luo XiaoLou glanced dumbly at the communication device that had gone silent. Yuan Xi’s voice, for the first time, made him feel a little distant.

But now was obviously not the time to consider such things. Luo ShaoTian’s mecha reached the M5 planet, and then stopped in mid-air.

Luo XiaoLou’s Yuan Power had been surrounding the shadow mecha at his side, and the moment the Luo ShaoTian mecha stopped, the shadow mecha finally revealed its true form.

Luo XiaoLou was too shocked and was momentarily frozen. When the shadow revealed its true appearance, he realized that it was not even a mecha.

A few black tentacles, grotesque and ugly, with a cold yellow glow in the eyes. And the undulation of the monster’s chest assured Luo XiaoLou that this thing was alive.

As the thing’s claws, with sharp implications, approached Luo ShaoTian’s mecha, Luo XiaoLou’s hands moved and the mecha quickly retreated. He barely avoided the attack, and appeared ten meters away from the thing.

The long-range control of the mecha was definitely one of the best operations that it had. The probability of that guy dodging all of the particle cannons was almost zero when it was suddenly in trouble and at such a close distance.

What shocked Luo XiaoLou even more was that the thing didn’t even dodge, but directly lunged in their direction.

And, before the blink of an eye, it had already caught up with them again.

Luo XiaoLou’s heart tightened. The mecha instantly flew out backwards, he no longer had time to turn around. And with Luo XiaoLou’s maneuver, the thing crashed directly into the signal transmitter high up on one side.

The signal transmitter, forged from the hardest alloy in the Empire, actually collapsed after a terrible clang.

Luo XiaoLou let out a low curse. He gave up any intention of injuring this monster, and the green and white mecha quickly swept away into the distance.

What kind of monster was this? Not only could it break the signal transmitter, what was more horrible was that when that guy was close, Luo XiaoLou could clearly see that the ion cannons barely damaged it.

The huge noise finally alerted the military on the M5 administrative planet. Because this place was close to the front line, the ordinary residents had all evacuated, and those who remained were garrisoned troops.

Now, two teams of patrolling mecha appeared in the sky, and were flying this way.

Luo XiaoLou couldn’t help but be a little scared. If Luo ShaoTian hadn’t changed his destination at that time, then even if he was prepared, he feared he wouldn’t have been able to mount a defense when they reached the unoccupied asteroid.

However, things were far worse than Luo XiaoLou had expected.

The security department of the M5 administrative planet was already in chaos. The minister was sweating profusely as he watched the monster appear on the screen as if out of thin air, while he yelled to the head of the reconnaissance team beside him, “What the hell is this thing? Before the General gets angry, you better give me an explanation!”

The leader of the group looked even worse than his boss, and he said warily, “We’ve sent people to check it out, but nothing has been found yet in the existing information on creature species.”

The security minister was annoyed. He didn’t care what it was, what he cared about was what weaknesses this super destructive guy had. In just half an hour, they had already lost quite a few mecha. The damn thing’s destructive power and defenses were so powerful they couldn’t stop it. If things continued like this, the base would suffer great losses. Their base couldn’t take such a thing. It was too awful to say out loud.

But with the passage of time, the base was in even greater danger of being destroyed by the monster. The security minister didn’t dare even consider such an outcome.

At this time, someone knocked on the door. The security minister turned around with a black face, and was about to continue to vent his anger, but found that the people who came over were the genetic technology group. He froze for a moment. Why had these researchers come over at such a turbulent moment? To add to the chaos?

However, the technology group had a special status in the military, so he could only greet them with patience.

The young man who was walking in the front had a serious face. With no unnecessary polite words, he said, “Security minister. I came over because of the monster that has appeared.”

The security minister’s eyes lit up. Instantly there was a hint of eagerness in his voice as he politely asked, “Could it be that Team Leader Lin has information about it?”

The young man shook his head. “There is no relevant information in the database, but from a damaged mecha, we extracted the saliva of this creature. It’s strongly acidic, with an extremely strong corrosive ability, and it’s highly toxic. Also, based on genetic analysis, we concluded that this is a new type of biochemical beast.”

The security minister’s expression changed. The appearance of biochemical beasts; the nature of this was different. Several major wars were accompanied by the appearance of biochemical beasts, who brought about devastating disasters. “Biochemical beasts? Are you sure? The most important thing is, Team Leader Lin, no matter what, you guys have to study the weaknesses of this kind of thing first!” At this rate, there probably wouldn’t be many of his troops left.

The young man’s face became more serious. “I came here because of this very thing. We can’t study any of its weaknesses. Moreover, if it continues, this biochemical beast which has never appeared before, will bring us an unimaginable disaster.”

“We came to the conclusion that if the entire force of M5 can’t destroy this biochemical beast, the base will probably be wiped out. I came to report to you because of the critical nature of the situation. This must be reported to the General immediately. I would like to ask you to go over with me.”

As the young man’s words continued, the security minister’s face turned a miserable white.

At this time, Luo XiaoLou, who was sitting in the mecha’s passenger seat, was already starting to panic. No matter what, he couldn’t get rid of that scary guy behind him.

Moreover, that was with quite a few troops still holding it at bay.

The buildings were constantly being destroyed behind him. The exploding mecha and the soldiers who died tragically, made Luo XiaoLou feel guilty and frightened.

Long hours of tight nerves made his vision begin to blur, and his fingers, which had been moving rapidly, went from pain to numbness.

Luo XiaoLou took another look at the screen. Under his guidance, the green and white mecha had been flying towards the periphery of the base.

On the outskirts of the base, were large buildings with no one inside. The green and white mecha quickly dropped from the sky, and began to weave through the buildings, as Luo XiaoLou tried to get rid of the guy in the obstacles.

However, the red dot on the screen was getting closer and closer, which made his heart clench in despair. No matter what he did, he couldn’t get rid of that guy. But that wasn’t right. Obviously he had left the monster’s line of sight, but the thing still managed to kill its way out of the surrounding army to chase in his direction.

Luo XiaoLou hesitated for two seconds, looked at the liquid stuck to the outside of the mecha, gritted his teeth and put the mecha away.

Then, Luo XiaoLou took the still unconscious Luo ShaoTian and ran towards the side of the path.

Not two seconds later, 125 suddenly cried out. “It’s coming after us again!”

This time, there was no trace of the troops behind the thing. He didn’t know if they were all wiped out, or if they gave up the chase.

Luo XiaoLou sighed, put Luo ShaoTian behind one of the walls and ran to the other side.

He still couldn’t figure out what the thing was relying on to track them. Right now, the only thing he could do was try to pilot 125, and lure this guy away.

The dark blue mecha appeared in front of Luo XiaoLou. But before he could get on the mecha, the monster’s huge figure landed not far from them.

Luo XiaoLou sped up, but the thing raised its arm, and countless tentacles, covered with slime, flew in his direction.

125’s lights flashed blue. Twelve super powered particle cannons fired towards the tentacles. After a loud sound, the tentacles paused only for a moment, then continued towards Luo XiaoLou.

125’s super energy particle cannons caused some weak damage to the thing, but still couldn’t stop the monster’s attack.

The tentacles quickly wrapped around the dark blue mecha. The cockpit was covered with the most tentacles, while more three tentacles rushed towards Luo XiaoLou.

125 paused for a moment, a white light extended from the left arm, it was a blade from the sealed land. 125 got the first weapon, and after that it hadn’t left his hand.

The blade cut off the tentacles that surrounded Luo XiaoLou, but Luo XiaoLou still couldn’t reach the cockpit, and he was pushed off of 125. Soon, Luo XiaoLou was entangled in those slimy tentacles.

Luo XiaoLou fell to the ground. Fortunately he wasn’t hurt by the monster, but his forehead got scraped and blood flowed down along the corner of his forehead. Although the injury was not serious, the blood spread all over his face.

What made Luo XiaoLou even more depressed was that he landed right where he hid Luo ShaoTian.

Luo XiaoLou endured the pain and quickly climbed up. He intended to leave this corner first.

But Luo ShaoTian, who hadn’t stirred, now suddenly moved. Then Luo ShaoTian, who was sitting against the corner, slowly raised his head, and looked at him with a pair of bright eyes that were red like blood.

Right now I don’t know anymore if Yuan Xi is acting or is he really controlled. Mr. Beauty and his Federation are already done for but still don’t know it and this cliffhanger is vicious. I hope ShaoTian won’t end up dead and they’ll be free from this control.

Thank you for the chapter!!!
