Have you ever read a ‘happy ending’ story where so many characters have been killed off that you are numb from destruction and consider it disqualified as happy even though the main cp is alive?

yes(?), but it was a story never meant for a happy ~ happy ~ ending in the first place so it was more bittersweet than anything
then there’s this other one (just came to mind) it was psychologically mind-bending lololol like i still can’t make up my mind if the uke was coerced into loving him or not, i really can’t tell
Thankfully, no; but I did watch a K-drama like that. I must’ve got through a whole box of tissues!
Word of Honor ripped my soul out. I read the novel while I was watching the show and it hurt
