i have. especially in chinese bl, where many smuts are censored. sometimes the author has to use strange terms or words to describe what is happening in bed scene. like for example… “the wind picked up the leave and tossing it all night long.”
quite creative to avoid censorship. but yeah, sometimes it makes no sense and hard to imagine the real scene that is supposed to be hot. haha.

I can’t really imagine images in my head when I read so I get confused a lot.
