  1. I used to be very active on your site, reading pretty much everything you guys posted! But now I hardly have the time to do that, and I am sorry that you seem to be losing readers. Hopefully that will turn around soon, and even I will find the time to read your wonderful translations again ❤

  2. I have completely random choice of novel, usually depends on mood. But i love all your work. Thank you for the hardwork you put through, please continue❤

  3. Idk about others, but I’ve not been reading this stuff as much. No particular specific reason.

I do plan on reading Grandmaster from the start very soon.

      1. I didn’t say before but if you have something smutty on the level of Hua Hua You Long, I’d gladly read it.

I also really love everything I’ve read by Kano Miyamoto. Thanks again

  4. Oh and you guys have great translations. I really appreciate that, because some others things I’ve been reading aren’t near the quality you produce.

    Thanks for the hard work

  5. Would like to give a suggestion
I think it might be the slight monotony of the novels have recently and are recently being translated.
I feel like a lot of the danmei don’t have much substance as the plot is usually dragged out and repeated.
Some of the older danmei that you’ve translated that I really enjoyed include the spring trees and

  6. I’m honestly open to every and anything. Though I do personally lean more towards ABO/mpreg right now. (Though, I do wait until the novel is done before I start reading. lol..)

  7. First of all, like many of your loyal readers, I think your translations are great ( ꈍᴗꈍ)

I personally liked comedy, xianxia, and (recently) horror. Plus points if it’s slow burn romance. But I do try out other genres. ABO and mpreg ones not so much but the plot is what actually matters. If the plot interesting and moving I’d stick with it like for example I usually avoid novels with BE but one of your translated BE novel – If Only Time Stopped At The Moment We First Met got me hooked on its story that crying was worth it :3

  8. Hi, I love all your works here. I am also fine with anything actually. Please keep on translating. Your hardwork is truly appreciated. Thank you so much! 🙏💗

  9. I really liked Legendary Master’s Wife, Chef in Modern Era and of course, Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation from your site!! I’m a fan of fluff, food porn and cultivation/upgrade(?) text like Boss Momo and Ling Xiao getting stronger and stronger. Right now, I’m reading I’m Using the Interstellar Live Broadcast to Raise Cubs and started on Nirvana Rebirth. Also, looking forward to I Regard You As Enemies Yet You’re All After My Heart!

I hope you pick up more fluffy projects in the future ^^ Don’t really care about the genre, but I like cubs/little buns.

  10. I am actually fine with any genres though i tend to focus more on fluffy and happy ending one..a little bit of gory is fine too as long it doesn’t dragged on..keep up the good work..😉

  11. I used to be more active! I’m sorry >< but I don't read novels often… I used to visit mostly for the manga 🙂 you guys are awesome! And crazy fast. But I have to say… since the website was redone in the last year(?), I find it hard to navigate and determine what the most recent releases were, in order, so I kinda gave up and wait for full volumes. ^^ thanks to the team for all your dedication and hard work and the time you guys put into scanlation and translating!

I like kinky stuff, s/m, omegaverse… kekeke… I am currently reading Sha Po Lang. But other than MDZS and TGCF and Addicted, I really haven't read much else…

  12. I haven’t read everything but when I get a email notification a chapter has been released I do visit the page. Don’t feel discouraged, RL is hitting a lot of people hard so that might account for the lower readership. Thank you for all everything you guys/gals do it really helps to brighten our day!

  13. Your translations are very gud but I hardly find any time these days coz of something else.

It’s also frustrating me but don’t worry, soon I’ll be back full time kkk
Keep up the gud work 👌👍😍👌👍

  14. I’m really sorry to hear that your readership is down. As for myself, I love novels! Short stories don’t give most writers long enough to develop characters, Relationships, plots, places, etc. I LOVE Mo Dao Zu Shi, of course. But—and I’m really, really sorry to say this because I’m so thankful for this epic love story—it is riddled with grammatical errors. (As soon as I get my computer setup I will send you alone an edited version. Of course I will not post it anywhere. ) Frequent grammatical errors will turn off some readers. By the way, the subreddit for MDZS is is still on fire. There have been so many great ones like the ermine and his lover who are reborn multiple times, the weak boy who is killed in a zombie apocalypse and is sent back to ancient times. Another about a boy who is sent back where he becomes a prince, but he hates it. So he flees downriver and is adopted by a magical town. I enjoyed the First Emperor Said he Likes Me, and the animal novels. There are several more. I like the graphic sex scenes as long as they are not too violent. Again MDZS did a good job finding the right balance. Stories that have zero physical contact are disappointing and I’ll bet I’m not the only one who thinks so.

I feel this website is needed. Especially for us non-Chinese, we learn so much. I’ve read about so many things after being inspired to do so by your site. I really hope your site garners the readership it deserves!

  15. Hello,
First of all, thanks for your hard work. I mainly prefer fantasy/supernatural settings, for example, the Spirit Hotel was an absolute winner for me (but with a little bit more smut xD). And I don’t really like the very long novels (2-300+ chapters), so for me, something with 20-70 chapters is ideal. It’s enough to describe a situation and solve everything without over-complicating things. Take care of yourselves, and I am looking forward to reading all the novels you share with us in the future.

  16. I would love more of MXTX’s novels beyond MDZS, But frankly love it all. Very grateful for all your efforts! Had a major change in work schedule lately, but I hope to start reading again!

    1. Maybe the newest one? That would be great. The other two (Scum Villian’s Self-Saving System and Heaven Official’s Blessing) are already translated.

  17. With college starting back, I haven’t been active as much. The pandemic is also making things very stressful, so I hope you guys can translate shorter novels that aren’t too heavy/melodramatic. I’m personally looking for stories that can brighten my day and make me forgot all the distress from work&school.

  18. And sent… I’m your loyal reader and a sucker for good reads but I’m also quite picky about what I read. I must admit that I’m not a fan of all the stories you have translated, some are just not my cup of tea, but the vast majority is simply spot on for me. AND.. I simply adore you for the update frequency. For me you are Super Celestial Beings for daily or so updates. Many thanks for your hard work! I’m sure that I’ll enjoy whatever novels you pick in the future!

  19. Your choices and translation works are amazing and the variation of BL novel genres are good as it appeals to all walks of life. I have to really thank you for bringing the xianxia and Wuxia genres to us: as an Asian I never had the reading grasp of the Chinese language (maybe lack of effort, or lack of smarts) and I simply dismissed that there were no good Chinese novels and stories out there. Yes, there’s that Red Chamber / Journey to the West / Three Kingdoms / Water Margin- but the classics are were boring and “educationized” in my head that it was more of a “study chore” than a ” good read”.

So thanks for bringing me back to my “roots” and bringing these stories to us. I don’t mean the BL genre in particular – but BL is a good start 🙂

  20. I was working on finishing and defending my PhD thesis these months so I haven’t been here either but now that I’m over it, I’ll be back ☺️ For me, I loved MDZS, Spirit Hotel and Legendary Master’s Wife but that one dragged for too long. Also, Spring Trees and Sunset Clouds is one of my favourite, I love those slow paced romances. The newest ones I don’t know yet, need to pick up everything from the previous half year 😅 Summa summarum if it’s a good wuxia or fantasy, you can count on me! What I don’t like are annoying main characters eg being a tsundere can be OK but only to an extent.

  21. The only novel I read was MDZS <33333333333333 (am forever grateful for it!!).
I was and still am a passionate reader of almost all the manga you’ve released (<3)
