We received quite a head tilting email/comment while I was sleeping.
First of all, talking about people dying and comparing that with this, that’s just plain disrespectful to those people and if you feel bothered by it (which anybody should) you should do something to help them instead of using them as shitty excuses for your lame ass comment. People are out there fighting for their countries, their rights or even at home fighting with just trying to stay alive in this fucked up world we live in.
When we release manga or novels, it’s with the intent to let everyone with real life problems can escape, even if it’s just for five minutes. Bringing up a war to, what, tell us we have no reason to fight for our work is not right? You’re the one in the wrong for bring it up in such a manner.
We all have day jobs (except those who are still in school). We are doing this for FREE. And if it weren’t for groups like ours, you wouldn’t be able to read your mangas for free.
Also, there are groups out there that no longer share their work due to disrespectful people. If you don’t like the way EXR does things, or you feel that we are being overly agressive, feel free to not read our scans. Better yet, learn Japanese and buy the original manga yourself (like EXR does) so you no longer have to depend on scanlation groups.
I think it’s funny they think we don’t have day jobs. Like, what, we just sit there and stare at mangago all day so we can bitch?
And why would I be up at 2am to make breakfast for 40 people? Cuz I’m bored? Cuz I have nothing better to do?
Since I have no “day job”, I guess I’ll sacrifice a normal sleeping schedule to be passive aggressive about the work I do in my free time and not care about the wars going on in the real world.
Just because you’re mad about the passwords gives you no right to be an asshole to us. So fuck off, I’ll stay fucking aggressive.

I’m sorry you guys have such a (group of) fan that likes to inflict hurt into your mind for the way you guys start a conversation for us, which is one of the way you guy closes the bridges between you and us, the fan. Just remember that most of us does not think it that way.
People like that will never be self aware enough to ever realise they’re a~holes with a capital A and a capital Hole.

I’m sorry. I don’t quite get what’s going on, but I hold a lot of respect for EXR. I’m a native speaker in English only, and even though I’ve tried learning languages to the point I could read and translate in my head, I’ve never been able to learn to that degree. I find you guys amazing for what you do, and I’m sorry how you guys get crap like this for what you decided to do for yourselves as well as others.
What you guys do, for free, for fun even (?), it really does allow me to escape from my reality, even for just a little while. So thank you for all you do. I’m always looking forward to when you guys release the next chapters of your projects. They always make my day better.

For one thing I hope you Ungrouped/Unsubscribed and block this person from ever getting anything form you guys again. I have been (I guess you would call it scan hopping) since 1999. Yes almost 20 years. I was there when Hochuuami was first scanning and releasing stuff and even back then they had rule to follow. Life and God created rules for a reason people. In my 46 years of life I have learned this.
As for the comment on war and work, My Father is a Vietnam Vet, so I really don’t like that comment One Fucking cent. My father has also served in the Panamanian war and Desert Storm. So if I could I would hunt you down and show you what a real war and real work looks like.

jeeesh…people forget that translating is ART!!!(and i can say that as a translator myself, ‘though, i know other languages, i understand the process and what it means to keep the spirit/feeling of a culture, author, character, alive in words that don’t always match) but the Internet is full of ignorant self righteous assholes that that give free mean remarks instead of minding their own business. I donât know what to say that others havenât already said and said better. Talking about the horrors of this world we live in, saying that people dying in wars while complaining about how hard you guys are on the readers, please someone think of the poor readers that have to follow this one simple rule. Almost all groups have rules of some kind, itâs nothing new.
A lot of manga readers say all kinds of nasty things to scanlators, they seem to take all the hours and hard work that have been put into the releases for granted. Donât they know or have they forgotten that scanlators like yourself are doing this on your FRee time and for frEE, while living and working irl. Please try to ignore the rude people who arenât capable of appreciating your hard work.
I doubt that person even care about the war itself mentioned. If that person did care about people dying then that person wouldn’t be here waiting for & complaining to be served of easy releases. Didn’t even contribute an ounce at all but still complaining, does that person think of itself as king / queen? doh.
