For BL where the couple gets a child/children, do you prefer this to be mentioned toward the end, focused in extras, or watch the whole process?

If the kids arrive before the end of the story, then surely they become an integral part of it, so should be mentioned as it goes along.
I’d find it odd if they appear and then get left out and added on as an after thought at the end.
watch the whole process.
it’s interesting to know about the child’s origin and history. and how they ended up with our cp.
except if the genre is mpreg, sometimes the child would come at the very end. so i would love an extra chapter with the child as the focus/the child’s pov.
