Seven Years of Words and Wonder

Can you believe it’s been seven years since we embarked on this wild adventure of translating? Seven years of laughter, late-night translation marathons, and discovering the magic hidden in every chapter. As we pop the metaphorical champagne, let’s take a stroll down memory lane and share the excitement of reaching this incredible milestone together.

From the first novel we tackled, The Legendary Master’s Wife, to the 108th one, and the 6,408 chapters in between, it’s been a rollercoaster of words, emotions, and shared stories. Can you imagine the number of sleepless nights and cups of coffee that went into bringing these stories to life in English? From cultivation to omegaverse romances, we’ve poked into a treasure trove of literary wonders. And you have been there with us, cheering us on, offering encouragement, and occasionally sending virtual snacks during those marathon translation sessions.

Reflecting on the countless nights spent translating, the “aha” moments when we uncovered the perfect words, and the characters who’ve become like friends to us, it’s a celebration of the community we’ve built around these novels.

But guess what? This year, something magical happened. Our little translation corner just leveled up! We landed our first-ever contract to translate a novel and get it published in physical form. An actual, hold-it-in-your-hands book! Can you feel the excitement oozing through these words? It’s a dream come true, and we couldn’t have done it without your constant support and enthusiasm.

Think about it – those characters we fell in love with, the plot twists that made us gasp, and the emotional rollercoasters we rode together – all coming to life on the pages of a physical book. Pinch us, because it feels like we’re living in our own translation fairy tale.

And speaking of fairy tales, our journey wouldn’t be complete without the incredible community of readers, fellow translators, and friends who have been our companions. Your comments, discussions, and shared love for these stories have made the adventure even more meaningful.

As we celebrate these seven years, let’s raise a glass to friendship, to stories that connect us across cultures, and to the joy of making dreams a reality. Our translation journey is far from over, and we’re eagerly looking ahead to the next chapters – the tales yet to be translated, the friendships waiting to be forged, and the adventures that await us in the world of literature. I want to express my deepest gratitude for being on this adventure with all of you.
