Since that night, calm returned for the next three nights. Although the number of watchmen had doubled, nothing unusual had happened.

When the huge mound was more than 1000 meters away from them, it stopped, and then a tentacle three times thicker than the monster they had eliminated came out from the ground, and then a second, then a third… Each tentacle was like a thick gray wall and would cause a tremor when it hit the ground.

The monster’s red eyes narrowed into two crescent shapes, darker than the other monsters with dark-red pupils staring at them strangely, and the waving tentacles were full of small mouths decorated with sharp teeth.

This was the monster who attacked them that night and never showed up again!
