“I need the Baron’s help to report to the First Intelligence Agency of the Empire.” Ye Shao’s face was particularly enchanting in the dim streetlights. Many people in the convoy couldn’t help but peek at his face. “There’s an emergency situation on Alpha.”

“What?”

Ye Shao took out his communicator and showed his identity to the man in charge. “I’m First Class soldier Ye Shao, who trained on Alpha – can you let me in now?”

The man-in-charge carefully looked at Ye Shao’s identification, but still did not budge.

Even if the identity of the man in front of him had been confirmed, the Baron’s orders were not easy to disobey. He was now in a bed, ‘battling’ with his recently acquired pet, and this evening he issued an order that no one should disturb him.

He could only say, “The Baron is resting now. I’ll convey the message. Come back tomorrow.”

Ye Shao’s eyes turned cold, and his black eyes suddenly became aggressive. “I must inform the Empire of this news as soon as possible. If it is delayed, can you shoulder the responsibility?” His slender figure stood tall and upright, as he looked at the man coldly.

“…Understood, please wait a moment.” Shot by the cold looks of Ye Shao’s eyes, the man nodded and quickly disappeared in the distance.

Layers upon layers of chiffon fluttered in the huge room, a young man’s body was covered with only a thin layer of red fabric. He couldn’t help looking back, “Sir, how come you haven’t caught up with me?” 

His voice was soft and alluring, and his big eyes were charming. The body covered with only a thin layer fabric was flexible like a water snake, and the thin man behind him was about to catch him. In a moment, with the limber waist of his, he turned around and avoided the man’s big hands.

“Little beauty, when I catch you, I’ll let you know how powerful I am.” The brown eyes that were filled with perverted thoughts stared at the plump buttocks that were not far from him. The Baron swallowed his drool. Lustfully, he rushed towards the youth again.

“No, no! Tell them all to go away!!! It’s just a First Class soldier. Tell him to come back tomorrow!” The Baron yelled angrily, then lowered his head again and kissed the giggling young man who was looking at him, “Baby, now I’m going to spoil you…” He chuckled obscenely and then fondled the buttocks of his man.

“But…”

“But what? Scram!” The Baron roared violently, picked up the youth, and walked towards the big bed behind the layers of thin veils.

“Yes…” The man hesitated for a moment, bowed at the door of the room, and then scurried away.

“I’m sorry, please come back tomorrow. The Baron doesn’t want to entertain any visitors.”

Ye Shao’s face sank. “Even if it’s an urgent military report, the Baron won’t let me in?”

“Sorry, it’s not that the Baron does not want to see you, but has asked you to come back again tomorrow.” The man-in-charge said in embarrassment. He could not possibly tell the beautiful man in front of him that his superior was enjoying himself with his boy toy, and had no time and interest to see him, right?

“Really?” Ye Shao took a step forward and looked coldly at the man-in-charge. His muscles tensed and back bent, just like a leopard ready to attack his prey.

Long Yuan stepped forward and pulled the angry Ye Shao behind him and quickly put an object into the man’s hand. “I hope you can tell the Baron again and ask him to reconsider.”

“…Even if…” The man-in-charge was about to say ‘you bribe me, I can’t possibly go and inform the Baron again.’ But when he met Long Yuan’s oppressive eyes, no words came out.

The man in front of him had an aura of superiority, and his eyes also carried a force of irresistible command. For a moment, when he met his eyes, the air around him seemed to be much heavier. He even felt the need to kneel down to him.

He dropped the youth’s leg and he let out a whimper. He could only give his boy toy a look of pity without comforting him. He threw on a robe and angrily walked to the room door. Once he opened the door, he instantly slapped the man standing outside the door.

“What’s the matter?” The Baron widened his small eyes, and his eyes were red with anger. “Didn’t I say not to disturb me again? You fool!!”

The man suppressed his dissatisfaction, pressed one hand on his face and presented the ring that the man outside the Baron’s Mansion had put into his hand.

The Baron took a casual glance at the ring presented by the man, and then his eyes suddenly widened, “He… Where is he now?”

“Just outside the mansion, with the First-Class soldier.” The man looked confusingly at the Baron who was flustered all of a sudden. 

“Y-you, welcome him in! No, no, no, wait a minute. I’ll put on my clothes and go with you right away!” The Baron closed the door at once, rushed to his closet, pulled out his clothes and trousers from the wardrobe and put them on in a panic. If he was not mistaken, the ring had never left ‘that’ person’s side.  

At the realization of the man’s identity and the attitude he had displayed by not welcoming them in, a layer of cold sweat broke out on the Baron’s forehead.

“My Lord, what’s wrong? Are we not going to do it anymore?”

“Scram, I’m not in the mood now!” The Baron lifted the youth, who leaned against him languidly as if he had no bones¹, dressed in a hurry and straightened his appearance in the mirror. Then he hurried out of the door and ordered the man, “Take me to him quickly.”

The man rushed to the gates with the Baron. As soon as he saw the tall and slender figure standing outside the guarded gates, the Baron’s expression looked as if he was swallowing a large piece of iron². Swallowing it was not easy, nor was spitting it out, but he had no time or chance to regret what he had just done.

He could only walk towards Long Yuan, dripping with cold sweat, and as he was about to address him, he was stopped by Long Yuan’s gaze. “Baron, I hope you can let us in. My friend has important information to report.”

“Of course, come in! I was resting just now and did not hear my subordinates’ announcement carefully. I would like to apologize for the trouble I must have caused you and your friend. It’s too late at night now and to express my apology, you and your friend should stay here for the night…”

“Then we’ll have to trouble the Baron.” With a half smile on his lips, Long Yuan saw more sweat on the Baron’s face. Only then he slowly drew back his gaze, turned to hold the hand of a relaxed Ye Shao and said, “Let’s go in.”
