Yuan Xi was surprised, then said in satisfaction, “That was a lot quicker than I thought. Tell him to wait for me in my office.”

Xia Zuo responded, then happily informed Rod. He hoped that he had brought back some useful information. Before Xia Zuo left, he looked at Jin Wu’s back in frustration. Xia Zuo grunted. He should be glad that the man had chosen a good time, at least Luo XiaoLou wasn’t there.

Even though the Prince Consort didn’t show it openly, if the Jin family had dared to send Yuan Xi a beauty in front of Luo XiaoLou, his mood would be very irritable. This would then affect Yuan Xi’s mood as well.

Half an hour later, a black super hovercar parked outside the palace gates which caused the attendants on duty to secretly drool. Not long after that, a man approached it with light footsteps followed by a fat, bulky green thing. It was none other than His Royal Highness the Prince Consort and his household robot.

As Luo XiaoLou came out, the door of the hovercar also opened. Luo ShaoTian, now a major in his military uniform, emerged. He greeted Luo XiaoLou and then opened the car door for him.

Luo XiaoLou looked at Luo ShaoTian, with his calm face, and thought of the gossip that had been fired up in the past few days. He had a few moments of embarrassment. Once again, his appearance was a bit of a problem for Luo ShaoTian and that Mrs. Luo.

“Actually, you don’t have to come over. Mr. Butler can arrange someone to send me there.” Luo XiaoLou said after he got into the car.

“It’s on the way.” Luo ShaoTian quickly replied, then set the route and turned his head towards Luo XiaoLou. His black eyes gazed at him deeply. “Are you okay? I mean physically.”

Luo XiaoLou froze for a moment before he answered. “I’ve already been checked twice last night and again early this morning. I’m fine.” Except for the change in his blood type and genes, his health was actually better than before.

Luo ShaoTian mn’d and surveyed Luo XiaoLou’s physique. His face was evenly nourished and a healthy color after returning from the secondary civilization. It was a little difficult to say that it was bad, so he just nodded and replied, “That’s good.”

After a while, Luo ShaoTian noticed that Luo XiaoLou was squirming a little and added, with meaning, “In the first two days, you didn’t care. But now, as you know, your identity has changed. There will always be some changes in the situation, so try to stay with Yuan Xi.”

Although his voice was its usual bland tone, Luo XiaoLou could hear the concern in Luo ShaoTian’s words, and his heart was even more touched. The only good thing that had come out of having blood relations with Luo ChengYun, was that he gained this brother.

Luo XiaoLou pulled out the ten or so super energy boxes he had made in the past few days and handed them over. In fact, he also intended to give Luo ShaoTian one of the Tier 9 mecha he was making. The Tier 10 mecha would probably have to wait until next year.

Every time Luo ShaoTian received something from him, he seemed to be surprised. Even before when the level of the energy boxes wasn’t that high. This time, Luo ShaoTian knew the results for those energy boxes without the need to look at the energy box data, and gave him a rare smile. “Thank you. I was planning to buy some.”

Luo XiaoLou’s mouth quivered a little. This excuse, it was also too clumsy. The Luo family had its own mecha maker, and besides, even if they didn’t, he rarely needed to buy these personally.

Luo ShaoTian also knew that, but he didn’t intend to explain anything, he just said, “I’m very happy.”

Luo XiaoLou, of course, was also very happy. He didn’t know whether it was the two days of mental tension, or his recent huge consumption of energy, but after being in the car for a while, he unconsciously leaned against the comfortable seat and fell asleep.

Luo ShaoTian looked sideways at Luo XiaoLou, whose breathing was gradually calming down. He then turned up the temperature some more, and looked behind him at the also inert 125. Then he pulled out a tiny syringe and drew a small tube of blood from Luo XiaoLou’s wrist.

After he put away the blood, Luo ShaoTian glimpsed a slight frown on Luo XiaoLou’s brow. His finger twitched and gently stroked it.

Yuan Xi looked at Rod with a heavy face. “You mean, you’re the only one who came back?”

Rod nodded emphatically. “Your Highness, I had to come back from the dead, and trick those things to escape.”

“The data showed that the planet had been uninhabited for a long time.” Xia Zuo’s face was gloomy. The extreme danger that actually lurked there, was something he hadn’t anticipated. He casually pulled a chair over behind Rod, who gave him a surprised and flattered look and sat down.

“What exactly did you encounter?” Yuan Xi asked.

“This is what I recorded. You can see for yourself.” Rod brought out a small chip from his communication device and handed it to Yuan Xi.

The video was long. Rod started filming almost as soon as he and the others arrived on the planet. The planet wasn’t large but was unusually desolate, and it took them three days to determine that the planet was indeed uninhabited. After they completely verified the current state of the planet, Rod began to send people to collect useful information, especially information related to the arrival of any secondary civilizations there.

When they reached the fifth day, a team of scouts sent word that they had found something strange.

It was in a mountainous area far from the abandoned city, and their ship actually received a strange set of signals as it passed by. Only after they landed, had they discovered that there was a huge entrance in the mountain. It was wonderfully located, concealed in a dead end and hard to spot even if you flew close to the ground. What was even more surprising was that the entrance was deliberately camouflaged. If the recent surface activity of the planet hadn’t disturbed the camouflaged boulders, it wouldn’t have been easy for them to find it.

By the time Rod arrived with his men, half of that group of scouts had already gone in. The bad news was that the communication devices of those who went in appeared to have malfunctioned, en masse. There was no contact with the surface. And the instruments they had brought, which could detect more than twenty meters underground, also completely failed. There was no image for anything more than a meter below the surface.

After he discovered the suspicious situation, Rod immediately sent a message to the military, and then left a small number of people on the ground to meet them as he led people to drive mecha into the cave to rescue the others.

The footage that followed began to cut out, as it apparently suffered from a large degree of interference. Rod and the others drove their mecha inside the ground entrance, which only fit two mecha at a time, but was unusually spacious inside.

Rod and the others continued along the passage, and after they traveled for ten minutes, the huge passage ended at another dark entrance.

In order to save people and explore the situation, Rod and the others flew in further. First, they went down, and then flew to the left after they discovered that the depth was actually unpredictable. All the time, they kept trying to contact the first group who came, but there no voice gave a response in the endless darkness.

As the people’s faces became increasingly ugly, their mecha finally spotted the edge of the left side.

I really didn’t want to write this but Luo ShaoTian is sus. Why has he drew that blood sample? And the fact that 125 is inert doesn’t mean he isn’t recording! The Luo family will have a lot of explaining to do. Now this cliffhanger, whad did they find? A secret base? an Octopus outpost? Second level civilisation’s lab?

Thank you for the chapter!!!

What is LST up to? He was acting weird before, like someone being controlled and now this. It involves that Duke that the Federation are so eager to impress, I’m sure.
Why does this descent of Rod’s sound similar to where LXL and YX found Li Mo.
Thank you for translating and editing.
