When Yuan Xi came out with Luo XiaoLou in his arms, there were only a few students outside. Yates and Tian Li, who had learned of the incident, did not get on the ship despite the advice of their teacher. They stayed below and watched from afar. “No. I can do it! It’s safe here. We’re on the ship.” Luo XiaoLou said at once. He was carried back by Yuan Xi and it was humiliating enough…

“Alright. Don’t give me any more trouble. If you do, I’ll punish you for it.” Yuan Xi said, turned and left.

Yates didn’t know what to do. He was overwhelmed. His own team leader was so perfect. He had found a mecha maker like Luo XiaoLou who would go behind his back and give out Level 4 energy boxes. But since Yates was the one who got the Level 4 box, he couldn’t say that to the team leader.

It was a half-hour flight in a mecha. There was no limit on the number of people who could fly a mecha, but Yuan Xi was so fast that Yates could barely keep up with him.

Yates was very pleased with the place that Yuan Xi had chosen. That afternoon, after Luo XiaoLou cooked lunch, the two drove their mecha in. 

Yuan Xi wanted to take Luo XiaoLou with him but Luo XiaoLou declined. He was not well physically or mentally. He couldn’t move with a broken foot so he’d rather wait for them in the back.

Despite seeing a doctor, Luo XiaoLou’s foot would still take a few days to heal. Before he left, Luo XiaoLou was very touched when Mu Chen gave him a simple crutch made of light metal. Not only did he have a good mind, but he was also very attentive that Luo XiaoLou was left so impressed. 

Luo XiaoLou thought long and hard about why the cold-hearted Mu Chen would help him and decided to attribute it to the fact that he had once given Mu Chen a piece of roast meat.

The cave was big and the space for the mecha to move was too small. To top it off, the beasts were very familiar with their own lair. So the battle with the bug beasts now posed a new challenge for the two of them in terms of hand speed, adaptability and combat skills.

The challenge for Yuan Xi and Yates was more exciting than troublesome. This huge cave was inhabited by countless mutated bugs. Yates and Yuan Xi took turns keeping watch, while Luo XiaoLou was already sleeping soundly in his sleeping bag.

“They stayed here,” a voice said sullenly.

“Today… The prophecy has finally come out. The man… will change our future. If we can’t kill him… We must find a way to keep him.” Another strange voice said. The image of Yuan Xi sleeping with Luo XiaoLou in his arms appeared on the mirror in front of them.

Luo XiaoLou had a splitting headache. He stared blankly at the shadow formed through the emergency lights. On the wall was the same creature with a human head and a bird’s body again.

Luo XiaoLou stared at the shadow. And then…

“Hey. Wake up!” Yuan Xi slapped Luo XiaoLou’s face. 

Luo XiaoLou’s eyes opened. Breathing heavily, he looked at the wall. There was nothing there. Instead, he was sweating profusely as he lay cuddled in Yuan Xi’s arms.

“You had a nightmare,” Yuan Xi whispered in his ear.

Luo XiaoLou closed his eye and let the shadow disappear from his mind. He didn’t know why he kept having these dreams. But… “Can you explain why I’m naked?”

Yuan Xi rightfully said, “I’ve recently discovered that I’m used to sleeping naked. And since you’re going to stay by my side, don’t tell me you’ve forgotten what you said during the day.”

That’s not the same thing at all!

Luo XiaoLou stared at Yuan Xi like he had swallowed a 125.

And then, he felt Yuan Xi’s unusually spirited little brother against his thigh.
